This Top Quad series is so well done and down right hilarious. The mixture of different machines, riders profiles, and course challenges bring outcomes that is hard to predict. With so many machines out there, what will be next Top Quad challenges and machines selection?
I'd love to see the next top quad be with utility quads and put them to the same tests. plus maybe towing and could do it in snow for more fun/sketchiness lol. I'd recommend going for 2500 or 3000 for budget instead of 1500 though.
I think it would be cool too; definitely with higher budgets lol
I think a warrior 350 would do really good in this series
It was definitely awesome but the 350 was way faster and stronger than these 200-300cc quads

It's a solid machine man; I am sure I could make it a good bit faster but then the reliability might go down.
Man this series was the best. This brought me back. Nothing was missing. Every personality was there, person and quad. And all uniquely different from each other. The jokes were so light hearted. the fun and excitement was so genuine. Im not sure how you could top this, but i hope you do more videos like this again!
I'd definitely take a brand new blaster too. Nothing like a 2 stroke as a kid. The noise is so attractive and intoxicating 😂

Good to see the Lakota win, my childhood quad was a Mojave and I loved that thing . Had a friend with a 300ex, a buddy with a blaster and another with a polaris but it was a tb400 all great quads. sick video as always and thanks for all of the nostalgia I received watching this series .

It'd be funny to see some old 2 wheel drive utility quads try stuff like this. Mostly because the few that I've rode on (Timber wolf, moto 4, and a fortrax 250) are decent fun but they are utilities so less fun. But awesome episode as always your hard work and effort really shows and puts a smile on our faces. Thanks for another awesome video to enjoy.

I really wanna see a raptor 250 on this channel! It’s a great little starter quad and so much fun to whip around on, plus, it’s got more space than a blaster

The poor honda! I was rooting for the blaster, but I can't help feel like the standings would be a tad different if the 300ex wasn't clapped. Still impressive how well it did regardless.

Yea man the Lakota is solid. So far the Blaster is still running great with the china parts. We did a lot of ripping off camera; I'm pretty impressed honestly.
@@MichaelSabo glad you are enjoying all the toys! Can’t wait to see you actually port and mod the blaster motor. A lot more potential than people realize. I managed 51whp on a humid 100 degree day which is worst case scenario. That’s also with a fully built ct240 on methanol 🤷🏼♂️

@@MichaelSabo hands down best mods are the obvious port work and head along with a simple shift star mod and roller bearing detent. Blasters are definitely fun little wheelie machines. I’d love to see y’all do wheelie contests! Best 2 out of 3 to see who can ride them the furthest

Hey sabo love the content, on your lt500 engine build video I can confirm it will also work on a lt250r. Basically same engine design with minor differences.

The only thing I took away from this challenge is Mike gained 5lbs from the first challenge to the last on the stats. Now he lost 10 lbs again according to his weight in the triz video.

My first quad was a 98 Lakota. Bought new by a family friend, purchased by my dad in 2002. I still own it to this day. It just needs bushings.

Guys something is wrong with your 300ex. You can start a 300ex with the clutch pulled in in 1st and 2nd but no other gears. I can do it on mine.
I don't know much about the 300EX but I do know that a lot of people disable the neutral lockout feature so it's possible that it was deleted on yours at some time or maybe it was added/removed in earlier/later years of the 300EX.
I hope people don’t watch this and hold a negative opinion of the 300ex… they’re great quads, this one just needs a lot of parts and love.
fr i had a way more clapped one and i beat on it for a year before the rod and crank welded together. it was a great quad for how little maintenance it received.
The Meatball is so sick even though it's clapped! Mike, have you thought about rebuilding the front end on it?

@michaelsabo when you do timing do u have to take off the cams or can u keep the cams in
It depends on the machine. If the chain skipped a tooth, you can usually take cam caps or cover off and loosen the timing chain enough to rotate the cam gear without removing the cam.

Each rider runs both the logging road and the creek in one run. Just opposite directions. The same amount of ground is being covered.

Well brother I tried for a while to donate to ir channel a lt250s which had reverse but never responded. I think it would of been great contender in top quad. I still thought it was cool but would of definitely been quad most people haven't seen or ridden
