The Ankylo has the tightest bank vault lock up I have on any button lock hands down. Maybe the best on any knife period. The action is wonderful as well. The heat treatment is great. The only very slight negative is that it’s a little heavy. Mine is 4.85 oz or 137.6g.
Never had a vosteed knife, by the time they came out i was way past buying bufget knives. But i still like looking at all the new designs and watching the videos of them, they definitely came out with alot of designs.
Thanks for the new knife, Stassa! I took my jade G10 titanium bolstered Premium Nightshade and mounted the black micarta scales from my brass bolstered Premium Nightshade. New knife! I'll dye the G10 jade scales black and my brass bolstered Premium Nightshade will be even more premium than ever. I used to like flipper tabs on Nightshades, but they do not agree with my jeans. Vosteed needs to make a 3.75 to 4.00 inch Nightshade. Bolsters and Vanchor lock. Love the TH version with nothing to snag. Good videos. Thanks.
I really love the Acorn, especially because of the price. When it first came out it was only $40. I also bought the Mini Acorn and I would love it but mine came with a lighter detent. I love the perfect detent on the full sized Acorn. I also love the feel of the Aluminum Scale Button Lock Raccoon. But that came with a light detent as well. The Raccoon Top Liner Lock just came back in stock with low supply. Pick one up quick before they are out of stock again.
Absolutely worth it. In fact, they're KILLING IT. Between Kunwu and Vosteed. Frontrunners in the knife scene. My Thunderbird gets more pocket time than any other knife I own. It's fidgety AF, heat treat is great, fit and finish is fantastic. Stupid wire pocket clip is only complaint.
I have a kiritsuke type chef knife of theirs, a raccoon, the nightshade in both sizes and 3 diff variations. I find their whole vibe fun to use AND collect. They're like a better cjrb
I really like the 2.9" Thunderbird for EDC and appreciate the 3 options for opening while also looking good. The blue and white looks great in person. The Raccoon in blue aluminum is really great option compared to a Drop Bear. I like the Corgi too, but think a nice aluminum version or titanium could be a really classy small EDC.
Thank you for including the Corsair. In my humble opinion, much better than the Racoon. The point on the Corsair is much more practical than the Racoon, any version.
I love ultem, but something about vosteed's ultem or their liner shapes just turns me off. It was the same with the Raccoon. I was so excited to hear they were releasing ultem, then I saw it and decided my 1st Raccoon will be either micarta or aluminum. I still want a TBird (each size, really as I love the Cormorant and can tell that he improved his flippers on the TBird) but unless I win one somehow it won't be ultem. Thanks for the great showcase of Vosteed!
Frankly, to answer that question: Sometimes. I don't understand the business model of selling a knife in a zip-up case, inside a tin, with a respected steel name, but not minding the QC on the production. My Nightshade came with a weak detent and a blade that chipped after a week of light cardboard use. They have good designs though, which makes me click on their models at the retailer's website to get more info. Then I think about the Nightshade in my drawer and move on.
Ultem is over rated. It's a name brand plastic, so why should I pay more for it over other handle materials? I do own a Mini Praxis with Ultem and I like the transparency to see the skeletonized liners, but it I don't like seeing knife makers charge more for IMO an inferior scale material.
It’s the new hot thing just up charging I have got all my ultem on sale for $40 mainly kubey knives they have great textured ultem. Should be prices same as g10 it will come down once not the hot new fade in the game
I'm not knocking you getting free stuff being a reviewer, but I wonder what your opinions would be if you had to buy all the knives out of your pocket. It makes you feel way different about a knife when you're spending your own hard earned money on it. Would have bought every one of these with your own money if it wasn't for having them on your channel? I doubt it. But like I said, I understand you gotta do what you gotta do. And I appreciate you buddy.
Hi Stassa. If you have any inclination to sell your small/m390 Tbird, aluminum Raccoon, or black TH Nightshade just let me know. Ppff, Venmo, and Zelle. Happy to provide my all-positive transaction histories on eBay and reddit. Thanks!
Dang...that is an amazing collection...Thunderbird is simply amazing imo. Vosteed knows what they are doing at various price points.

I really appreciate the walkthrough of what Vosteed has to offer! Really informative and put a few knives on my radar.
Love vosteed knives and designs. Almost had more vosteeds than kizers at one point.

Enjoying owning Vosteed knives: Acorn, Racoon, and the new Mink.

Vanchor lock nightshade is dropping soon

I picked up a full sized Nightshade and a Mini and they're among my favorites.
Realy, same thing. It's not easy to find knife who are nice with the blue handle. But the Acorn, with micarta it's perfect !! ^^
Reaky, it's rare i like all the knives hou present. But there, bravo Vosteed. I like them very much. A good company !! ^^
Great video. Would love more like this.

And the Acorn... A must have !! ^^
They've put out so much killer stuff, it's easy to forget how young they are. The Raccoon is probably still my favorite of theirs.
I love the Night shade with the mitres !! Elmax ..! ^^
I have a kiritsuke type chef knife of theirs, a raccoon, the nightshade in both sizes and 3 diff variations. I find their whole vibe fun to use AND collect. They're like a better cjrb
I love the racoons, i have 5 of them including the racoon cub, i also have an acorn and a mini nightshade, great fun knives

I love the blue micarta to ..! ^^

The Psyop is gorgeous !! ^^
Loving my new Raccoon with the top liner lock.
Vanchor lock Shiism cutter dropping this month can’t wait
Very interresting. I understand i love Vosteed ..! ^^
Is vosteed worth it? Procedes to showcase 500 vosteed knives. LoL. I have a Dachshund and love it. Great action and solid feeling knife.
@@mrcheesefood1 lol I was just asking the question and I gave y’all the answer 👌👊👊

Kubey ultem is 🔥
Nice video! I'm looking into the Ankylod( I think thats the name).
The blade of the Labrador make me think of the Ria Cjrb blade !!
Would love to see a midsize Nightshade!
RSKAOS and Hedgehog 👍👍Cheers 👐
Need to try some Vosteed at some point Mr Stassa 👍
Thinking about grabbing the ultem thunderbird on sale for $118
And the mini Psyop kill me !! ^^
Love me some vosteed brotha

Here is what I think would be cool: full size nightshade with the bode hole and a crossbar lock.
XXL version would be a mighty good slicer. Nitro V steel good enough for my needs.
I agree kinda. And xl version with flipper and hole, liner lock in titanium. That would be great!
@@natehoover5266 That would also be a mighty fine knife. Needs an Elven blade steel to make it near perfect. :@)
How's vosteed's heat treat on their m390? Seems most companies are running them a bit on the soft side
If I could only buy Vosteed knives from this point on, I wouldn't even be mad.
I like the Corgis. Because it's not easy to find some knives who can carry red and orange color !!
14C28. It's a good, budget steel no ..?
Hourra for the Njght Shade ..! ^^
Wish knife sites would have a gmascus catagory
Do you say l, bolsters for the mitres ..?
I like their designs, but I've not had great luck with them.
Like um all 👍
Is it better than D2 ..?
A leaf blade ... ^^

Absolutely love my hedgehog.. it follows me everywhere ✊🏻
You asked a reasonable question then turned into a brand infomercial....
