Did you eat fruits and veggies into it? How did you manage to get vitamins and minerals? Bcz I m not feeling good after the carnivore diet . I feel fatigued after it..
@@jameslong1644 I agree with you but for carnivore diet we should have options in meat...in india I just had eggs and chicken.. and few says we can't have eggs in Hashimotos...what is true and what is not? So I can't eat just chicken and they eat only corn...so what option do i have left .. if I were in USA then it would be much easier for me...bcs Indians can't digest lot of meat and the weather is very very hot here...I used to feel pukish and constipated for the whole day...so now i eat eggs in breakfast, chicken plus rice in lunch and eggs or any veggies in dinner...I can't do more than that...
I believe it’s criminal that Drs are not doing more for people with thyroid problems. Ignorance is not excepted in other professions so why are we excepting ignorance in Drs? I have had thyroid problems for a long time and I blame Drs for this. Instead of giving me antidepressants instead of fixing my gut or check me for toxins. I appreciate Drs like Dr Gupta. He is what more Drs should try to be like.
Doctors who help cure patients won’t make any money. Also the pharmaceutical companies will not make that much money either. It’s better to keep everyone sick.
Omgosh so true!! I went last year and was told that my levels were within normal levels. I went back and they were just outside of normal and was told they were barely outside normal. I insisted on more so they did an ultrasound, found 3 nodules one of them large, then was told to recheck in a year. Wtf?! I'm still having symtopms! So now they are sending me to an ear, nose and throat specialists, but said they likely won't treat my low thyroid. 🤦🏼♀️
Doctors are under pressure. It is like they learn snippets during their studies. Thank god for UA-cam as it helps so much and I’m so shocked that people walk around with their head in the sand. Wake up people and look at your health
😂 Yesterday my primary care doctor told me that I have Hypothyroid and there is nothing I can do other than take medicine even though my T4 levels are totally normal. I asked if I could change my diet and she said: Nope! She didn’t even asked if I feel any problem like fatigue or tiredness. I have no problem. But she said “You need to take medicine” so she could earn more money through me as a new patient. 😂 We are living in a wild world and we need to be really more conscious about our own health! Thank you. 🙏🏼
This angers me. I have been hearing that digestive tract is totally separate from everything else for decades but we know it's ALL connected! Food is medicine.
As a side note on oral health. I got a water pic more than 5 years ago and it has been a godsend for my oral health. I use the appliance brush with 4 sprouts of bristles recommended for kids with braces instead of a toothbrush. Since doing that my gum health has improved tremendously and my dentist is amazed. I used to get too much wear and tare at the gum line with brushing and the water treatment removes the tartar and resolves the issue of teeth to tight to floss. I only floss if some seed is stuck. The hygienist has much less work than before. I have several caps but all 32 of my permanent teeth at the age of 73. I do not tell my dentist about my routine. Also with trying to loose weight with hashimoto’s and now osteoporosis increasing my protein, reducing my carbs especially grains and sugar along with intermittent fasting has helped me loose 20 lbs. it is a journey and you have to figure out what works for your body and what you can stick too long enough and consistently enough to gain some results.
Love these guys!!! They give me hope! If we can find the triggers, eliminate them, we can reduce the antibodies. It makes sense. Don't let anyone tell you that you have to live this way. There IS hope.
It is sad that most insurance do not cover functional medicine, especially when that is where we need to be as a Hashimoto's patient! My traditional endocrinologist won't refer me to Cleveland Clinic Function medicine (although his treatment is not working) and you cannot even get on a wait list anymore to get in. Some things are so backwards in the world! As a person with Hashimoto's, we are cursed with a life of just "dealing" with it. :(
Well yeah, insurance companies exist because of drugs. If you go naturopathic you don’t need insurance companies but for emergencies where they would lose money.
Its about the patents and shareholders, wall street, bankers, gov, insurance, sponsors, fundings, etc. This people are dependent on big $ making profits. Economy/politics/money are very difficult things to understand, if you do not understand how the economy, politics works worldwide. We are all depending on THE SYSTEM.
I'm 55 and British and i've had an autoimmune condition since 19 when they told me i had thyroid antibodies and they said you might just have a thyroid issue later in life. At age 30 they finally gave me levo and i was told to accept it as nothing could be done. I used to be so motivated to research this years ago and i ate low carb and i followed Atkins principles and i remember Mary solomon's channel and books but the last 15 years or so i've kind of lapsed and have now gone through menopause. I'm now believing again thanks to your channel and Dr Berg and i'm back doing Keto, supplements and eating home prepared meals from scratch. Thank you.
Yep!!! If only the videos info were available then.... Tons more healed people... Who in turn would share it.... So be Sure to Share, never know who really needs it and but for you, might Not get it Sooner, how much stress and poor health you would be heal'n! 🫡
Same. The more I'm learning the more I think mine started 20 years ago because of a major trauma in my life. Subsequent issues just made things worse like developing septicemia but also 6 pregnancies. I can see whst started it, but also what made it worse.
@hollybishop484 Mine also started after my first pregnancy and c-section delivery, which is quite common for female Hashi patients. Trauma definitely triggers the onset of Hashimoto's.
That new shingles shot triggered my issues. I had zero problems before getting that. Within the months after series one I was having joint pain, sunburn rashes, and just felt unwell. I didn’t put this together with the immunization so went and got series two. I had extremely painful rashes which sent me to a specialist (dermatologist) who said my skin was falling off! She diagnosed me with high thyroid and autoimmune. Sorry to say but I’ll warn anyone who will listen to not be a lab mouse as I inadvertently became. The people selling these shots don’t care about you - they care about the 50 bucks they will get for promoting it. Some immunizations have been around a long time but anything that hasn’t is a risk.
Anything causing a immune reaction can be a trigger, that means all so called immunizations can do it, does not matter how “old” they are. By definition they activate the immune system, that IS their purpose. No one cannot control how our bodies “read” that immune activation. So this is always a risk with these, just like exposures to infections, to heavy metals or to mold could do the same thing. They are triggers.
Sounds like your thyroid Not the shots was to the culprit.. Never heard of this reaction, the shots are promoted to fend off painful shingles for most... SORRY it gave you a tough one to deal with.... Did your Dr not know about your thyroid issues, ask about ALL that to determine if you should be immunized or not... That's the miss'n piece 🧩 I'd Def put that experience online as a causionary for people with the Same issue, so they Can talk to their Drs in dept, be Sure it's Safe for them! I Hope you are much recovered and your thyroid is heal'n, well monitored so you have far less concerns, suceotibility as a result! 🙏🏼
You asked such good questions! It was a pleasure to listen to this. The world needs to study mold and the effects on our bodies better, as i believe this is a great part of autoimmune diseases. Doctors like you give us hope, dr. Childs.
My new year resolution was to start my morning with dry brushing, end my shower with cool water, and finish my day with a castor oil pack in bed. These are on top of all the other protocols suggested for autoimmunity issues. Hearing you two discuss this topic is so appreciated. Thank you 🙏🏼
@mariamaria2751 You can do a castor oil pack with cut up old flannel pajamas from a thrift store or a piece of flannel. You can use a hot water bottle or heating pad like shown in the video. But instead of on your stomach, you would put on the front of your neck over your thyroid. ua-cam.com/video/uqXJcU_hUgM/v-deo.html

Listening to both of you has been so instructive! I’m blessed to have a functional medicine doctor who treats me as an individual, but I appreciate having a deeper understanding of my issues. Thank you!
My thyroid stopped working in 1983 . I knew it was low thyroid because my identical twin sister was diagnosed with Hashimoto’s. It was not until 2005 that a doctor would listen to me. He did an anti-thyroid and I was at 900. He freaked out. I told him I was living with it for all those years so relax. He put me on different thyroid medication’s, which I turned out to be anaphylactic to. The only thing that’s worked for me as Armour Thyroid 90mg five days a week. i’d like to find out how to find a functional medicine doctor because the information in my body is tremendous. I also have Ehler Danlos three, which is causing me to have 22 surgeries. I have Cellier overgrowth that causes adhesions, and they have strangled my gallbladder, affected my uterus, causing me to have a radical hysterectomy, and I’ve had surgeries to remove the adhesions around my bowel. I try everything, but the doctors just kind of don’t do anything for me. Now I struggle with type two diabetes, and I have added berberine to my regiment in the last three weeks. I have to take gabapentin for fibromyalgia and I’m going to admit that the depression is pretty bad and I can’t take medication for it. I don’t want to take medication for it. Thank you for reading this.
Great interview! I'm gluten free and vegan for the animals. My anti bodies are dropping finally. My iron levels improved drastically. Not sure where this will go but I'm hoping for the best.
@@opsgreg8392 I was focusing on eating raw and cooked green vegetables more then ever. Big salads with steamed vegetables, little bit of lemon juice, olive oil and some salt was on my plate every day. It could be that inflammation started to drop and iron was better absorbed. I'm taking what was recommended for autoimune disorder Selenium, Zinc and vitamin D3/K2. If you for some reason don't get iron from meat and vegetables/legumes there is liquid iron as best option but that has to be something short term to use. When you have thyroid issues you also have gut issues and then you can't absorb properly. I'll be having some blood tests again soon, I feel so much better! Good luck!

@Ana-Maria Alrasul hiiii just curious on an update. I too eat mostly plant based. I have never consumed meat (texture thing and huge animal lover) but occasionally will add greek yogurt to my weekly snacks for added protein. I was diagnosed with hashimoto's in 2018. My levels are now regulated with medication. But I have gained 20lbs that I can not get rid of despite my mostly healthy diet and exercise. Wondering if I were to implement a bit of your routine if it might help.
I was diagnosed with hypothyroidism in 1988. Been fighting with it since then. I was in terrible health in my teens. Struggled with chronic bronchitis, ear infections, mood swings, and recurrent pneumonia. It's only now that everything was due to nutritional deficiency. My condition improved when I became capable of taking supplements. But, I am a bit scared now at my age (50 y.o) because brain fog is real, bowel movement has become irregular, and hardly get 8 hours of sleep. I was prescribed 100 mcg of levothyroxine once a day before breakfast Monday to Saturday.
Ashwaganda makes me super tired. My thought was maybe it had something to do with my brain. I had a brain scan done awhile ago and we found that my brain, without any stimulant like coffee or my adhd medication, is really sleepy. Which is why any anxiety medications I have tried don't work. They make me too sleepy and I fall asleep randomly with them.
I wasn’t on any medication but I’ve had thyroid nodules and suffers allergies has T2 diabetes. I am a senior citizen. Thanks for sharing your knowledge
I have recently tried ashwagandha and have decided to suspend it for now. I feel super sleepy and will go to sleep and then when it hits my system, I wake up feeling extremely restless. I may try taking it in the morning instead of right before bed but for now, I'm going to let it clear my system
@@pjbgcb54 I had been praying and asking God to show me what caused 4 and a half years of severe fibromyalgia. Then through a series of circumstances He led me to buy and read the book called Mercury Free from the local dentist here in Orlando Florida who wrote the book. In it he talked about how in dental school he discovered that amalgum "silver" fillings are really 50 to 70 percent mercury and had to keep quiet in order to get his lisence. He also talked the diseases mercury causes and success stories of patients getting better after he removed the mercury. Since he was local I went to him to get them changed out for white composite resin. He took precautions that need to be taken while removing the mercury. He was in the listed yellow pages and his book as well. You can look for a holistic dentist. Any dentist will change them out but you need to ask them what precautions they take while removing the mercury. I very highly recommend you getting it changed out for sure. Also do not use those light bulbs in the shape of curly. They have mercury in them. When any mercury gets spilled in an office etc even clean up companies refuse to come and clean it up and I don't blame them. Mercury is that bad. Always use incandescent regular light bulbs. I hope this helps you. Don't give up. Just keep calling dentists asking them about their precautions. You only have one tooth you said that has mercury so they can do it on one visit. Mine were done in 4 different quadrants. I don't think you will have a problem finding a dentist to do it plus you need to let them know the white composite resin you want needs to be BPA free. If they are holistic they will know that but it can't hurt to ask

Wow!! Thank you SO much for this great info!! My Endo always gives me the run around and has no idea to help me other than reading my thyroid numbers. Getting in touch with a integrative doc today!! Thanks for all you do to educated about this topic:)
I appreciate Dr. Gupta’s general knowledge and comprehensive understanding of the subject. The average person may get lost in the volume of information and all the interconnections. For simplicity I would suggest that the patient take a more manageable approach by starting with addressing the foundational issue of restoring the gut health and by gently restoring the micro biome. M. Fowler D.O.
Yep exactly that’s what happened to me LDN help me to modulate my eating habits so I really was not having any desire to eat sweets. Until my TSH went so low sweets were a constant craving. My body is still recovering. It’s very difficult when you have conversion issues
My thyroid numbers is off the chart and I feel fine since I wean myself off of thyroid meds after 30 years. My doctor is freaking out and I refuse to go back on them no matter what he say. I think I need to go see Dr. Gupta in person if he is seeing patients here.
How Can you feel 'fine' with bad Numbers.... What are you do'n to Support your thyroid with diet, and have you retested to See how you're actually do'n? Critical to have the facts, to fix anything!
@@les9058 Like I told my doctor my bones felt stronger and I did not feel tired. I’m mostly eat a plant-based diet including greens greens greens and more greens every day. Eat a very large amounts of raw veggies every day. Did just about everything to support the thyroid gland. However do seem to have problems with the conversion of T4 to T3. I have a history of liver disease. Take milk thistle, Selenium, vitamin D, B complex and sometimes NAC also fermented foods. In spite of what the numbers are showing on my lab results I think Dr. Gupta could help me with my conversion problem.
He has a complete videos and books available on his site... Plus his live 'thyroid Thurs's' you Can catch for More every week still I think 🤔 So you can get a ton more wonderful info & Dr Gupta! 🫡
Love Dr. Gupta! His information has helped me tremendously! I am still on thyroid medication but with his information I was able to reduce my thyroid replacement dose in half! And I'm feeling a lot better. I have histamine intolerance and nightshades definitely trigger my hashimoto's and triggers inflammation. I feel awful if I have tomatoes. I can tolerate small amounts of cooked tomatoes but no white potatoes, no eggplant, no peppers. I think it's highly individual and patients have to work with their doctor to do some trial and error to see what calms the inflammation for them. I saw continued improvement by working on each the things Dr Gupta talked about....toxins, food sensitivities, infections etc. I started out with AIP and it was so helpful. The most restrictive phase is only meant for the first 30 days. I can eat everything except gluten, dairy, and nightshades but I can tolerate nuts and seeds just fine. I can also have legumes I just can't go overboard on them.
Yes, gluten free, dairy free, and nightshade free has helped me tremendously! Doctors should at least mention the possibility when talking to their patients about thyroid issues!! Took at least 6 months before I noticed full better, so be patient

I've until recently ate seaweed everyday for 15 years. My short thin hair grew like crazy and my eyebrows filled in. It also kept my candida under control better than diflucan. I think it may have aggravated my Hashimoto's though.
I am sure have an family predisposition, because my mother and sister have Hashimotos. I (male) used "Betaisadona povidone iodine"- ointment excessively for my bad skin as teenager. I suppose I may have triggered my thyroid with this usage. But I recognized and diagnosed my Hashimotos years later in the age of 35. At this point I already had mild syndroms and an onion intolerance.
This discussion is an incredible resource of information. I appear to have Hashimoto's and I have already found a link to methane producing archaea. Now I know what else to tackle. Going to go full bore on detox first, had already cut out inflammatory foods. Feel more positive now.
I have been taking LDN for my Hashimotos 4 mg It’s really was helping my Hashimoto go in to remission, but then, since I have different converting T4 to T3 I have not be able to find my sweet spot. I was on 75 mg levo, and all of the sudden it was 75 was too much and it brought my TSH to 0.24 I had this crazy desire to eat sweets because my TSH was so low, eating the sweets caused my Hashimoto flare up. Sweets is inflammation? I now get blood work every two weeks and taking 50 mg of Synthroid and 10 mg of Liothyronine. I now know my TSH can’t go below one. I was so hyperthyroid that the hair on the top of my head just broke off! Very distressing, my hair is still not growing and I still feel the Hashimoto flare as all my joints hurt.
Yes! candida was a sign of tongue stinging. t3 came back low. Cut sugars for inflammation and helps. It was complicated to get dr. to even test me! Keto was a good start then adjust it over time.
I would love to hear more about what food to eat that is good. And also, the names of the companies where one can test ( the home kits mentioned- where do we order these) the toxins(heavy metals etc.). Excellent interview, thank you
I got diagnosed 6 years ago and was told there was nothing I could do outside of taking drugs. 4 years ago, I started embracing a healthier way of living. But it's only recently that I began to really connect the dots between my Hashimo's, my gut issues, my vitamin deficiencies and my rising cholesterol. I'm fully focused on managing all of these in a holistic manner now but I worry that it's too late as I've had to significantly increase my thyroid medication dosage over the years. Can Hashimoto's be somewhat reversed years after it started?
Dr Child’s you are amazing! I had a thyroidectomy 30 years ago at Mayo Clinic to remove a benign multi nodular goiter the size of an orange that was deviating my trachea. I was 120 pounds 30 years old and healthy. I do not know if I should have gotten my thyroid removed for a benign goiter for living without a thyroid is hard. They left my 4 parathyroid glands. I am now 62 and 151 pounds. I was 170 pounds. Losing weight is so hard. No-one ever tested my antibodies until 10 days ago. They were at 1219.9. I have been on LDN for 9 days and I am like a new person. How much LDN can I take? I had so much Inflammation in my joints It was hard to walk. They told me I needed a double knee replacement. Over the last 9 days with LDN I have had a REMARKABLE improvement in joint pain reduction. If I have no thyroid and high antibodies what else can I do to lower them?

I like that he flrst list food sensitivies and named gluten and soy as the cause of Hashimotos. I had gluten sensitivity and thought it had "gone" so started to enjoy pasta again... BAD! And when went vegan for first time started to consume A LOT OF soy daily - result was I was extremely bloated + 13 kg (water weight propably) with astmathic symptoms after about just 4 months! My body was completely messed up. Even toilet time became suddenly a trouble. I started getting breathing problems after tofu too... for too long I thought getting rid of soy was enough, now I've been gluten free for 9 months and I see a bit of hope... please take food sensitivities seriously! It's sometimes treated like being picky! At least I have been...
I got my TPO down from 396 (2017) to 20 (Sept 2021) after getting rid of the Mirena IUD (stopped taking BC all together). I believe taking an antibiotic for a UTI in Dec 2021, caused my TPO to go back up to 325; still at 325 two months later. I feel fine, other than have severe constipation from the antibiotic, that is only remedied by combination of celery juice (on empty stomach), lemon water (on empty stomach), and iodine. Oh, and my vitiligo has regressed again on my arms. Can the antibiotic mess with the adrenal glands? My vitiligo was healing when I got off levothyroxine and added ascorbic acid. I got off all medication and fixed my sleep in January.

Best guest ever! Thanks for having Dr. Gupta on the show. Two of the best minds on the subject.
I was honestly to the point of accepting my life with hashimitos and then I found a functional doctor.
Insurance is a racket, just like the drug companies, they aren't there to get us well.
Its about the patents and shareholders, wall street, bankers, gov, insurance, sponsors, fundings, etc.

Thank you.

Right? I’m thinking “where were you in 2010?!” Lol
Some immunizations have been around a long time but anything that hasn’t is a risk.
i got sick after i toolk twinrix shots 12vyears ago. got hoshimotos.shots have been tdoing this to people since 2000
Which one was that? How did you find out it was from the shot?
@@sheridansplace1607 Correct! ..Correlation doesnt equal 'Causation'!😉
Childs.

What do u take for iron?

Mercury from my mouth went to my Thyroid and gave me Hashimoto's and 4 and a half years of fibromyalgia which was acually mercury poisoning
@@janetblanchard7 I have one filling I suppose I should get removed but I’m having trouble finding the right kind of dentist. How did you find one?
@@pjbgcb54
I had been praying and asking God to show me what caused 4 and a half years of severe fibromyalgia.

Did you ever have extreme fatigue? I’m feeling hopeless about that getting better. Gf and dairy free four weeks today

I have been on LDN for 9 days and I am like a new person. How much LDN can I take? I had so much Inflammation in my joints It was hard to walk. They told me I needed a double knee replacement. I had a blocked lymphoid and I started eating whole lemons peel and all and was able to drain it . Was very painful under my jaw next to my ear .
Hey, i also feel my lymph node is active, feel jaw pain at sometime, is there anythibg else u did, as i cant take lemon
I did go into remission for Hashimoto's. But I was having serious problems like NOT being able to walk at all. I went to many doctors including neurologist. All of my thyroid tests are normal. But I had all of the symptoms of low thyroid. I went to a functional medicine doctor. He was of no help. I got rid of Hashimoto's. by going gluten free. But I found out they quietly changed the formula for synthroid which I took for 30 years without incident. But now they put gluten and talc and all kinds of junk in it.10-30% of people who are allergic cant walk.So I am taking tirosint. It has no fillers.
THANK YOU TO BOTH FOR CARING FOR YOUR KNOWLEDGE
Excellent knowleadgable and articulate interviewer
Culould excessive cardio cause adrenal fatigue that trigerred Hashimotos?
So do we need to find a functional medicine practitioner?
Exactly doing the right thing, following the “protocol,” but still feeling miserable. What a horrible feeling.
The person suggested an aip diet. It may sound impossible but my teen daughter has been doing it forever 3 months. There are lots of recipes out there on line. Sweet potatoes fries are her go to. She cuts them thinly and fries then in olive oil.
Great content and thank you so much both doctors.I appreciated
Can we eat veggies in Hashimotos? Bcz i m practicing a carnivore diet..
Very valuable information. Where is this doctor’s practice?
Dr. Childs, thank you for what you do, and thank you for your willingness to keep adding to your knowledge.
Please don't get discouraged. If it wasn't for ppl like you, who are willing to think oitside the conventional box, and continually undertake research, where would we be? just battling with indifferent, incompetent, and resistant GPs.
May the Lord bless and keep you and your family. Thank you.
Mostly untrained, so results are dismal.... Get a thyroid Specialist Like Gupta, an ND Dr ... fix your diet to Support your body's attempts to heal! And it often will!!!! 🫡
How do we check for EBV virus and how do we treat it?
Excellent! Thank you for cover so much and shedding light on the major source being our toxic environment.
Thank you both very informative, My 16 year old daughter just got diagnosed with this and I was lost to how do I help her, this video has been so helpful ❤thank you
Digestion, digestion @Dr. Maggie Yu
What does he think about the jabs? Does he have a protocol?
Hi Dr. Child’s, thank you for all of your informative Podcasts. I took thyroid gold for Hashimoto thyroiditis for years before. I no longer need thyroid replacement thankfully. T3, t4 are normal now. For my TSH remains play elevated. In teens. Any idea what can cost us?
Is it true?! We can reverse hashmitos? I hope so. Got to watch this.
Depends on your issues and willingness to make appropriate supportive changes to diet.... so you Can heal your body!
I'm a little confused in regards to Iodine. Some say to stay away from it when having Hashimoto (which is something that I've done, substituting the salt with one without) and I hear that you are both not opposed to it, but encourage the consumption via sea foods. Am I doing wrong in not consuming iodized salt? I have Hashimoto, normal thyroid labs, not taking medication, but trying to address some of the triggers. thank you for the videos that you produce.
You need some iodine in your diet.
Most people have it too much.
@@ana-mariaalrasul9231thoughts do you do trace minerals or celtic salt
How in the world do we find a doctor that treats the way you both do?!? I live in Colorado. I’ve spent thousands on Functional Medicine the past 6 years and have lived with this for over 30 years. No one has ever tested me for toxins, infections except for SIBO. Now I have diverticulitis and have had numerous flare ups. My diet is so restricted. Please HELP!!
I used ashoganda and got very sick on it. It also causes hallucinations. It only took onetime in the 90s. For me to never want to do it again. Yet others found it a great thing for periods.
Wow what a combo talk. Thank you 🙏🏽
What test should we do to see which problem tiggers our hashimoto
Awesome episode. Great information presented clearly and extremely informative. Thank you. I truly enjoyed listening.
I couldn't understand the word they were saying - what kind of sauna is best? Dr. Childs speaks faster than my ears can hear.
Infrared saunas. It helps to turn on the closed captions.
Try 0.75 speed. It helps.
I'm listening at 2x speed & still get it.
I had Type Diabetes, Addison Disease, Poly Cystic Ovary Syndrome, prior to Hashimotos.
I heard to avoid cheeses but the real Parmigiano Reggiano from Italy is a cheese that work against the biofilms and the aterom placs. Isn't this correct? Avoid all cheeses or this one is an exception? And the Old Gouda from Netherland?
At 34 [ 3rd child ] I developed Hashimotos. For 10 years I went untreated. Then 10 years undertreated, [ Armour ], then finally I found STTM. They saved my life, but I had my antibodies tested awhile ago and the antibody levels and it was OFF THE CHARTS. I take synthetic T3, but what to do about the antibody issue. Was in hospital last month with very serious symptoms of cytokine storm. Docs clueless. Based on the numbers, I was going to self detonate. My antibodies are so high, the chart cannot give me a number as it stops at 1000.
Very helpful thank you
Thank you both 🙏🏻
Are there any studies on connection of food sensitivities that create inflammation and hashimotos?
I need to get off my thyroid meds
@@teresaschultz4129 me too. Do you know it cause osteoporosis.
@@teresaschultz4129 just eat fresh organic fruits and veggies and nuts and seeds and berries and melons and lentils and read Dr Michael Greger's book How Not to Die and eliminate meat and dairy and gluten and oils and heal yourself.
Sugar
Did you find that answer, and can you share! 🤓
This is great! Thank you for covering it. ❤
Cut out eggs too. Add black seed oil and Lysine. LDN helps a lot with brain fog.
Cut out eggs ? Lmao 😂
@@dominick5886 so according to Anthony William, viruses love eggs. I've cut them out and my antibodies have dropped significantly.
I'm concerned about arsenic. I eat way too many rice products since going gluten free.
Thk you Dr Gupta, I've jusr been diagnosed with borderline hasimoto, really distressed. Definitely me being under chronic stress for 12mths. Thk u from Australia
Thank you Drs Childs and Gupta for advice.
Dear doctor, ur questions are 👌, and well presented 🙏👏👏
My sugar is at 110...my father and brother have diabetes type 1 and 2
Thanks doctors!
Could someone tell me the name of the “sauna” wich is better than the regular sauna?
Dr. Is exactly describing my issues. I have every single symptom of hypothyroid or hashimotos, yet every test came out fine! Hormones T3, T4 within limits. Multinodular thyroid, fine needle aspiration- not cancer, so Drs want to ignore it! I had Covid with viral pnuemonia. I'm so tired, so fat. My throat is puffy looking and feels raw on and off. (Like I'm going to get a sore throat.)
Please tell us who to see to cure this unrecognizable illness! Thank you. Namaste'
Have you had TPO antibody test? That’s how mine was diagnosed a few years ago and the doctors wouldn’t treat it and told me there was no cure. I woke up one morning and I felt like something was pushing up in my throat and bottom of mouth. Looked at myself in the mirror and it looked like I swallowed a baseball. That’s when they decided to check for thyroid antibodies. I quit Kaiser and found a really good integrative doctor in my town. He took me off the pain meds and put me on a supplement protocol similar to Dr. Child’s. Was prescribed low dose naltrexone and changed my diet. It takes time to feel normal again. It’s been a year and the weight is just starting to come off on it’s own. I eat meat, eggs, fish, berries and coconut milk. I’m allergic to citrus fruits. No bread, a little dairy like heavy cream in coffee. The sugar was the worst to give up but I do feel a lot better.
Mine was found on a random blood test. I had no symptoms other than insomnia; fixed my insomnia a few months ago, and got off all my mediations. I can't take Levo due to side effects, but I feel fine.
@jenniferpetty5238 how did you know what your allergic 2?
And did you have hairloss
@@jenniferpetty5238what is tpo should be at?
@@joanneclark8256 well, I now have Graves’ disease and I’m super hyperthyroid. Doctor took me off low dose naltrexone. My TPO was 1537 and Trab was 958. They are supposed to be below 30. I have both Hashimotos and Graves antibodies. I wouldn’t wish Graves on my worst enemy. Heart rate of 180 resting, no sleep whatsoever and severe fatigue and muscle weakness. Hair loss too. I lost 30 pounds in 1 month. My T3 was 18.2 and T4 was 7.6. Six months of methimazole and they are now in normal range. Im still allergic to citrus. I break out in hives all over my body when I eat oranges and other citrus.
