Concert Band - Operation Invictus

Operation Invictus is an original band composition that has exciting parts for all players. It has commanding rhythms, and challenging, yet surmountable melodies that make a great impact to performers and audiences alike. Each instrument gets to play snappy little licks and even the low wind and brass get some fanfare material. The definition of Invictus in Latin is ‘undefeated’ and this piece celebrates the hard work, dedication, and failure to accept defeat in the face of a challenge.
