Ryan air sucks flight to Alicante at Easter but because of thunder storms flight landed in Valencia Ryan air said you can get a taxi but we won’t pay for it taxi driver wanted £300 euros or wait on bus the bus took 6 hours to get to Valencia airport arrived in Benidorm 13 hours late for a 4 day break all booked with on the beach terrible company once you’ve paid them they don’t want to know

😂 Hey, I took my Son on holiday with us when he was 17. As he said, it was a week lying in the sun topping up his tan for free! He went off with his friends a few days after we got home, they were white and he was nice and brown 😂.

I have two teenage daughters, 19 and 17 - I am always impressed watching your videos that Holly (Hollie?) is engaging and sweet and it takes a huge amount of confidence to even agree to be on these videos, I struggle to even get mine to agree to be in a family photo ! Hats off to you Gaby and Holly, I think you are fabulous. Please ignore the weirdos and creeps, not even worth wasting a second of your time x

Left hand drive? Can take a while to work things out where the edges of the car are especially when parking, more complicated than you feel it should be. Should simply be a case of reversing everything. But finding where your car is between a set of 2 white lines is hard. Much easier if you're next to something or between 2 cars. The tendency is to be too far to the left. Don't I know it as a passenger on ones of those mountain roads with the wheels incredibly close to the edge too often😀. But when I tried it myself I nearly did keep hitting the curb for a while.
Both you and your wife come across as just genuine good people. It's very wholesome to see. Thanks for sharing this family moment with us. Ibiza is beautiful. So definitely regardless of your accommodations, it seems there's plenty to appreciate.

Hi guys, we did an easyjet holiday to Rhodes last year for the first time and it was great. We were worried at first as they have a bit of a reputation for cancelling flights. We had a great time with 0 hassle. Transfers to and from hotel were spot on. Have a great time.
Yeah same we just got back from Valencia and everything worked flawlessly would defo use easyJet holidays again.

I travel extensivlely around the world and the one golden rule lesson I have learned is - carry a man-bag always, containing, phone, credit cards, money, tickets and passport. It never leaves my side sometimes even when i am sleeping, it goes under the pillow. On the plane I am sure I must get strange looks when i go to the bathroom, lugging my big man-bag with me. Better safe than sorry !
I wouldn’t leave my phone in the car, even in the UK. Definitely a no-no in any tourist trap locations to leave anything in the car. Not sure what he was thinking

Hi Tim, Gabby, Casper and Holly. That was an excellent video and I really enjoyed it so much. I felt like i was there with you all experiencing it to. I did an Easy Jet Holiday to Malta for 5 nights Half Board Plus back in March 2023 and it was an excellent holiday.

My sons and I did an EasyJet all inclusive holiday to Turkey in September 2022. Can’t fault them it was brilliant with no issues at all

Always been impressed with easyJet Holidays, never had a problem! I love the fact the luggage allowance is generous and included and their package deals more often than not work out cheaper than booking things individually.

Interesting topic! I've been considering Easy Jet holidays for a while now, and it's great to see a candid discussion about their services. I'd love to hear more about people's experiences with them - both the pros and cons. It can be so helpful when planning a holiday!
Been on two easyjet holidays this year... just booked two more! Don't think I can really fault them so far personally! I didn't find it tricky to get hold of the one slight issue (not a big issue) that I have had which was just that I couldn't see the booking on the app. I also like how the 23kg baggage and transfer are included in the price. Alot of other holiday packages don't seem to do that so the price you see isn't always the true price after adding them on.
I went with Love Holidays last year, everything went smoothly.. however I just had an uneasy feeling.
the only thing to mention is that a lot of people on the flight will have booked flight only for really cheap, so sometimes you can get quite a loud drunken crowd depending on the destination. I think other companies are package holidays only on their flights?

We did an easyJet holiday in June to the Playa Bella apartments for 3 nights. Website makes it look amazing but we were really disappointed!!! Great video as always ☺️
A tip for gate numbers i find is add your trip to your google calender if u have a google phone and it tells you the gate number in your phone notifications. When going Spain earlier this year it told me gate number over an hour before it came up at the airport which was very convenient.

We took our kids (9 & 14 at the time) to bambuku last year, we found the staff to be great, nothing was to much trouble. Spent a fortune by the end of the day.

Another great video Tim, nice to see the family with you, i've been to Ibiza many times, a lovely island and it's pretty easy to get around as it's not that big, shame about some of the prices over the years, if you go to certain places you just get ripped off, but you can find many well priced places to go too, keep up the great work!

Felt for you on the late flight with Thumps but you did well and amaze me with your calm and collected nature from you all navigating the streets, whilst pushing a buggy and vlogging. Really loved this vlog , so much content to enjoy! everyone at the top of their game what a team! Casper at his cutest paddling in the pool. Sorry to hear about the phone , that must have caused much distress. Haven't been to Ibiza since 1987 as a teenager but remember taking a very similar ferrry across to San Antonio. That was when the island was still a hippy enclave and the acid house party scene was really kicking off.
Great video, entertaining, and some good humour and, of course, seeing Thumps enjoying himself. You certainly did not have the best of luck on this holiday but, hopefully, it did not spoil the holiday too much. I know how you must feel losing a lot of irreplaceable images. It happened to me some years ago when my laptop died and I did not have a complete backup. Learned my lesson? No! I still only do a backup every few weeks! Enjoy Vegas and look forward to seeing the videos.

I’ve never been to Ibiza nor do I think I ever will now. You were showing your age when the flight landed and those kids were clapping and whooping 🤣 The look on your face. It would have peed me off too.

The accommodation looked okay and the pool was alright but I got the feeling that the entire thing was more geared to singletons/clubbers than families.

From my experience of booking a holiday to crete next year it was so much more expensive with jet2 or booking separate than it was booking a package with easyjet. Love the channel, awesome as always.

With regards to the car hire portion, I TOTALLY agree with everything you said. I used to work for a major international car hire company, and you should ALWAYS take out the full damage coverage and still check around the car properly for any existing damage that isn't already listed in the Rental Agreement. If you find any damage before you move the car, then take a photo of it immediately to prove that it was already there and not you.

During the late 70s my parents did a budget holiday to Ibiza with me and my 3 brothers, we got an apartment, and it was where Gabby pointed, there was just 2 tall apartment blocks, it was a cheap deal and behind was a disused army training ground. We used to walk into San Antonio to get the bus to a beach.

I went to this hotel/apartment a few years ago, we had a ground floor studio which was handed for the pool. The apartments look like they have been refurbished since then too, they look more lovely now. I love gabby black and white dress she was wearing on her first night.

Great video Tim, really enjoyed it. Just a minor point (@9:50) - it is usually polite to have headphones for your kids to use on the plane so you aren't disturbing anyone around you. I'm sure this was not on for the entire duration and given it was to Ibiza it was probably a louder flight than most anyway, but just for next time in case those around you are too polite to speak up.
Maybe he wouldn't have kept them on? I know for a fact that my 1 year old would take them straight off 😅

Turn on backup with Google photos on your new phone any photos you take will automatically be saved to the cloud, you get 15GB free but after that you need to pay for more storage, Loved the long video, Once went to San Antonio when I was 15 never been back but one day. You should book a like for like package holiday with a company and then book everything yourself and see what savings if any you could make.
