It is alleged that he stole a car и He is alleged to have stolen a car.
It's thought that the thieves got in through a window in the roof.
= the thieves are thought to have got in through a window.
to have got - это не present perect, это перфектный инфинитив.
It is normally for old people
почему в предложении it is time I told you about my new neighbor.

You can go wherever you want = you can go anywhere you want ?
It's almost the same.
@@okenglish-practiceI am nearly b2, nevertheless I am frequently confused in such tricky stuff .I will try to get rid of tiny mistakes I do.Particularly the topic “some/any”.
Thanks))
Hemingway was right. FBR had beeng hounding by him. They made a confess about it a couple years ago.
So at first they made him (and everybody else) think that he was paranoid. And many years after it turned out that he was right and FBI were manipulating. There is something we have to think about here.

Вопрос не по теме) He did his work- он делал свою работу.

Разве "Jack was believed to be a communist" не переводится как "Джека посчитали коммунистом"?

Do you want to know what happened to Jack? You're going to laugh out loud. I rushed up to the police station. I was sure that it had to be connected with Sarah, but thanks God, no.
It's time to tell you about my new neighbor. His door (is) opposite -to- mine. He reminds me Hemingway. And it's not just because of beard and severe look. It's said that Hem (believed to be) hunted by (the) Feds. Our old Hem (and I'll never believe that he has a different name) time to time checking a hall, even if it's empty.
Once I saw how he was listening the walls and trying to hear something. It's believed that old people harmless. But not our neighbor.
I guess you know the reason why Jack was taken to the police station. Looking into the spyhole Hem saw how Jack was going upstairs. Jack was wearing red t-shirt and red jacket. Jack couldn't open th door, -he said- (swearing): "God damt it" (on Russian, he heard it on some tv-show lately). Apparently, Hem thought that Jack's a comunist and he immidiatlly called to the police and said that the house under the threat of terrorism.

I once saw him putting his ear to the wall as he was listening to something. Such people are thought to be harmless lunatics. But not only our neighbor. I guess you figured that Jack was taken to the police station because of old Hem. Looking through a spyhole, Hem saw Jack walking up the stairs. Jack was wearing a red T-Shirt and a red jacket without sleeves. Jack couldn't open the door and was swearing chort pobery ( a funny Russian word that he heard in a talkshow).
