7 days of doing this and your core/ab workout, from a wheelchair, and my range of motion has improved dramatically! I could not do more than an inch for the rotator cuff movement, and not able to face palms all the way to front. Dear Meredith: I started working out with you in February of 2023 and was so excited that I found a gym substitute with a certified physical trainer who motivated excellent form and a desire to be fit as a senior. Unfortunately, within weeks of becoming so excited about your channel and the opportunities it offered for safe exercise, I was playing pickle ball and broke my tibia plateau in several places and also my clavicle. I required surgery on both, and I was immobilized for three months. I lost all tone in my right leg. I’ve since been in PT for four months to regain mobility in the shin and knee joint. In the last six weeks I’ve returned to your UA-cam channel and feel blessed with countless seated exercise routines that have enabled me to gain both upper body and lower body strength. I do not know what I would do without your channel. I have told my PT to recommend it to everyone she sees. Thank you so much for your motivation and your expertise. I see it as an invaluable alternative to becoming injured at the gym, as well as a wonderful asset to anyone who wants to extend their physical therapy in the comfort of their own home. What is so nice about these seated workouts is last night I had a bout of insomnia so my energy level today is very low. I was able to at least complete this upper body seated resistance workout today. I feel much better. Tomorrow is another day! Thank you sweet Meredith. 😃👍🙏

Really love to follow your video to do exercises. Your UA-cam is very useful especially I don’t want to go to gym during the pandemic. I want to do some exercise to firm my bicep. May I know work out on this video can help to do that?

I am going to start my workout journey again with these chair workouts. I now have Vascular Vein Inefficiency which makes it hard for my blood to flow to my heart. Hopefully these workouts Can help me fight my extreme fatigue and can make me stronger🤷🏿♀️?
Hello! Leaning back in the chair will target the chest muscles most, which is what the exercise is intended for. If you sit upright, the shoulders will work more, along with chest muscles. Do what feels best, but that is why the exercise is done leaning back:) Take care!
Hello Meredith I have been doing this video with 2 lb weights every other day. Do you think it’s better to do weights every day or every other day? And I haven’t seemed to be able to progress to 3 lbs yet and how do I know when I’m ready to progress another pound?
Hi Laura! Thank you for the comment! Every other day is best, to give the muscles a chance to rest and grow stronger. You will know when to progress when the 2lb weights get easy with no struggle when doing your sets. It takes time, so be patient and do what feels best. Take care, Merey
