Never heard of this song OR her until a few nights ago. I heard this song on the radio and my wife says it is so fitting for our 13 year old daughter who is a beautiful and good hearted young lady who gets bullied at school and she feels bad about herself as much as we try and validate her and praise her for what she really is. I asked my wife who this singer was because she almost sounds like Chrissy Hynd of The Pretenders and she told me who it was and I looked her up on UA-cam and just watched and listened. This just blew me away. I learned the bass line and went upstairs, hugged my daughter and told her I love her and she was already in tears because she heard me playing the song. This is one of the GOOD ones.

And for the 158 people that "thumbs downed" it, your insane....at 37 years old, I still love nothing more than discovering a new artist or song or a song by an artist you never knew until years later....but this song was a radio discovery. 88.7 WNCW or 98.1 the river, Asheville, NC....the moment I heard it, I Shazamed it. What a great App. I am now obsessed with this powerful, emotional, brilliant, beautiful song. It then made me realize who she was, with her other hits on the radio....Wherever Is Your Heart, That Wasn't Me, The Eye....Similar to Neko Case in songwriting, big voice, notable success.... two amazing ladies....
