I went a 5 hour walk in my doc martens when I first unboxed them and have hardly been able to walk since, that was 6 years ago😂
Hhajahahahha
I went to the zoo 💀I barely made it pass the entrance before my entire heel was ripped off
@@roisin9232thats crazy, I dont get why they didnt do adjustments through years of people reviewing them...also they are cute, but still dont get why anyone would suffer wearing them.🫠
Why buy them if there going to hurt your foot
@@Baja2424they mold to your foot later but it’s very painful at first
Its not always the heel its more the top of the foot where the pain is.
Try wool socks to prevent blisters. Darn Tough and Smartwool are great brands
what i do is cut through those little threads that make it tighter. its a must for me to do that because i cant go through that excruciating pain. lmk if you tried it and if it helps or if im just weird
Sometimes the heal hurts more or the top of the foot, it really depends on what part you put more pressure on when you walk
Why buy them if there going to hurt your foot
Same !
Did you just wear ankle socks with boots 💀
? What should i use then
extra cushion?
@@zorojuro7731 it hurts 4 me when I do that 🤧
I got blisters and pain but wore em like 2-4 miles per day and within a week they are so comfortable!
You won’t get blisters if you wear them tight and make sure to wax your boots regularly to keep the leather hydrated, makes it more pliable and breaks it in easier
It’s tricky, sometimes with lace tightening it doesn’t get you blisters and feels comfortable to walk, and sometimes you get blisters , I still haven’t figured how what’s the real trick, I have the classic one which wasn’t soft at all. Still breaking and I had them for 8 years now
that's just complete bollocks, millions of people get blisters from brand new boots
I had those with metal cap in front. I was badass on weeknds....
Life hack: don’t wear a shitty and painful foot coffin ⚰️
i’m a dr martens employee and i highly recommend our double doc sock! will give you all the comfort you need
Fortunately I’m wearing ones in pascal leather and have never gotten blisters 😂
yeah, you bought the boots with softer leather.
Pascal and the nappa leather are the BEST! I can’t with the smooth leather!
Yes! PASCALS are sooo soft and comfy!
I might need to try this with my work boots
I had zero problems with my two pairs of 1460, however 1461 keep hurting me everytime I wear them No idea why
Dang, I thought having bruised heels were part of the break-in process
I’ve never ever gotten blisters from my docs
I had at least 50 pairs, and yes, some gave me blisters from day one.
No I tried it bc of this video and 1) makes it extremely hard to put on my docs. 2) feels kinda weird cuz it’s gooey…. 3) did not protect my back foot from rubbing against the docs
It’s best to re-lace your docs and pull them tight as you go. When done properly they will slide around your feet less. Also don’t wear ankle socks
I’m always too scared that using stuff like that will screw with the break in process. Dr. Martens are notoriously rough at breaking in, but once they fit, you have one of the most durable pairs of boots/shoes you’ll ever own
imo that’s no longer true, mine started falling apart after 2 years
@@anthonymeza7712 buy the made in UK, had the same experience with the regular lineup, think they make the regular lineup in china. Had the sole fall apart in my first pair
docs really are nothing special
the 1461s didn’t really give me a hard time when breaking in
Thanks the first time I were them a peace of my skin feel of and I was in so much pain I just ordered some heel cushions pads
Lol i have the ones with the vegan "leather" boots and they never hurt me once. I also have some lower shoes yk with platform soles (not sure if those are the right words in English and too lazy to google) and they aren't that uncomfy either.
Pls give full info. What’s the name of the product? The link you provide in pinned comment does not work. You can’t copy nor is it hyperlinked.
My brother is sending me a pair for my birthday from Germany! Cant wait to get them! 🎉
I have the 28 eyelet boots, it’s never been an issue for me
I’m no boot expert but I know Docs. If you’re getting blisters then you probably got the wrong size.
Came for the boots, stayed for the legs.
it's comfortable and relieves the pain in my heel, but after I took it off, it causes itches.
I got the Doc. Martin socks. They are pretty nice!
I originally got Doc. Martins because they would hide my Compression socks and now I love them!
The Doc. Martin socks have extra padding on the heel, Joints, and the top of my legs!
Theyre not worth 10$ for a pair at all. Youre way better spending 25$ on a 2 pair pack of merino wool hiking socks
i found that patten leather likes to rub HARD vs smooth leather just not as rough.
Been using the pad ones from my moms 😭 but it sure feels very comfortable
Needed it
If you're getting blisters you need a different size, they're too big. Leather boots should be snug.
I mean you can just put a huge bandaid for the blister solution. But hey whatever flows your boat 😂
i got dr martens a size bigger i didnt break them in properly and oh my gawd my foot endured the worse pain ever…
At least your foot is sentient and got itself insured, a lot of people don’t even have insurance.
@@Fred13Mr LOL
Endured*
@@mkbandz7008 i never realized i made a typo
Or do proper boot care, doc martens already suck, this keeps you from getting blistered but other boots don't have this problem, and if you don't do other maintenance to the boots they will become worn very fast, and won't comfortably flex. Personally, I would prefer a Corcoran boot over a doc marten.
except when those heel cushions rub underneath lol. I recommend u try these just to see but yeah, they ain't for everyone's feet but they may work in another boot or shoe like mine did. they just didn't work with my jadon faux fur Dr martens, actually made it worse than when I wore without
I got blisters 🤦🏼♀️ i got my 1st pair when I was 13 annnnd I still have them they still fit best shoes I've ever owned
Ikr! My mom got herself a pair in college, and she still wears them and they look great! 😂
Docs are invincible
Mine are doing it on the top of my foot on one side
Just buy boot socks or double your socks no cutting anything or anything
For me it's sooo ez to put on I just unzip it and slide my foot in with normal socks and I don't put anything under my socks
I just wear high socks until they’re done cutting into the back of my ankles 😭 cause fuck does that hurt but docs are worth and one of my longest lasting boots
best doc martens hack: get Solovair instead
Tip: straight lacing doc's looks better.
Just wear them till they break in
Lol when you buy stupid shoes bc you got dumbitchitis 🤣🤣🤣
Wearing high boots with low socks 🫣🫣🫣
Cool thx for the info
Or you could be a regular civilization and we’re high socks with your boots
How exactly is this a Doc Martens hack? It has nothing to do with Doc Maten boots.
Solovair is better
OMG THEYRE SO PAINFULLLLLL WTHHH
what docs r these?
1460 greasy
I wore two pairs of sock until they got broken In
I never have pain wearing them unless it was when I first get em and I have to break em inn
Easier hack
Buy solavair instead
Every year I notice docs drop some kind of quality sh!
Solovair are very nice. Still a little bland in the build department for me
my favorite boots are smooth
Dr martens ultimate hack: dont buy them cause they are crap and expensive😉. You ll thank me later..
100
Overpriced boot that hurts your feet
I got my first pair of docs when I was 14 I’m 22 and still love mine I just bought a new pair today!! Totally up to preference
@@jasminemcdonald2060 unfortunatelly your opinion doesnt really matter to the facts. It is structually unrefined and basic, the quality of the leather is poor to put lightly, any questions?
@@norbert7297 their quality is better than cheaper boots 💀
@@lunar5453 i gotta be honest here this answer was a bit hard to understand since you are making no actual valid point. Youre basically saying that martens boots are more expensive therefore better quality wich should be the main selling point for any more expensive product if you think about it. What you wanted to say instead (but too stupid to put it into actual words) is that dr martens is soo good that it is actually as good if not better than more expensive other brands. Now of course none of these two statements are true, because not only dr martens boots are of no great quality but rather poor the price tag doesnt really compensate for that fact. Furthermore infact there is plenty more affordable yet better made boots on the market. The only, the ONLY thing that makes it possible for dr martens to sell any boot on the market today is thanks to the sheer remnant of its once glorious durabilty and name. Only the name remained the same. Is there any questions left?
Wool socks are cheaper and easier to find
You never need that with a quality boots and Dr Martens used to be. Not any more.....
Mine never hurt me
Maybe buy boots that aren't terrible quality and you won't need those
Надо правильно размер покупать и ничего натерать не будет...
300 $ and uncomfortable asf
Dawg jus grow up they’re literally work boots
What are they called
Or you can just wear socks that are meant for boots, or break them in
I used to wear bandaids
The jack is not to buy them they kinda suck
Or just buy solovairs and be comfy.
link for boots?
I wish I knew two years ago, but well
in Russia, since Soviet times, we have such an element of the wardrobe as a footcloth that replaced socks in the army until 2016, wow, do you have the word footcloth in the language?!
Or you could just not buy Dr Marten boots in the first place and buy actual good boots.
the solution is buying better boots
For "soft" people who have never really worn WORK boots, but want the look of it... buy the right size and fragile little heels won't get blisters.
Too big for small feet! :(
These socks are not comfortable underneath
But where do u buy these lesbian shoes from
Wrong socks,
Just don't buy doc
Or just buy good boots since Docs are terrible cheap shoes disguised as good boots
я портянку наматывал
cool
Not a good boots!
Or... Just buy actual good quality boots
Terrible boots
Just double sock and not spend a box
Or just break your boots in
Doc Martens are awful quality, buy solovairs instead
Best hack is throwing them away and getting a pair of Frye boots.
Or just buy real boots….
just buy better boots!
Um.. Buy better shoes i guess
you need to break them in
Or.... Buy good quality boots..
On of the best and long lasting boot on the market ong
@@andrisozols8814 ua-cam.com/video/DOVPuA4qZ68/v-deo.html
@@andrisozols8814 they are 100% definitely not, they may have been decades ago, but now they're just a shoddy fashion statement for idiots
@@andrisozols8814 they absolutely are not
@@andrisozols8814 oh I see what ong means now, another fashion statement for idiots
If you gotta wear all that to be comfortable then maybe you shouldn’t wear the shoes..
they need to break in!
Gross
Or you could just buy a boot that has a piece of leather in that exact same spot
Try that on the made in England
i get this on walmart, literally the same
Never gotten a blister from docs yall must have terrible skin
Or you could wear wool socks at the appropriate height and you won’t have that problem…
