It’s the tailpiece. Most Warwicks have a two piece bridge, similar to a Gibson style Tune-o-Matic.

I was fingerpicking strong like this with rock or metal songs more than 10 yrs. until some teacher told me to try soft fingerpicking and turn volume up with some pop song. that's a first time I know that bass can play fine and fasster easier with soft fingerpicking lol.
