I believe that the people who were in this particular war, a lot of them felt very pressured by their surroundings to participate in a way that ended up being detrimental to many other families. It’s very sad when you see the statistics of just how many people perished during this particular war.
Another Sunday evening with Bunny. I love your videos so much, I was an American History major at the University of Memphis, I so enjoy learning about the history of this country, and you make it so interesting. There's so much this 80 year old lady has forgotten and didn't even know. Thank you for your lessons. ❤❤
They were actually referred to as both federals and union and depending on which battlefield you go to they refer to them as one or the other more predominantly so I always try to respect which one they choose to use
I am so excited that you are enjoying the videos! That is a big compliment from someone who has a major in history like yourself! I just try to make sure that the things that I do are engaging so more people will want to chime in with the history because I find it to be such a fascinating thing, but also also something that we could all learn a lot about
When I first moved to Arkansas, I moved to Roger's, which is just down 63 by the first Sonic. This was not only where I was issued my Access pass (providing I had all my proper documentation) I cruised through this auto tour several times with my chihuahua Bruiser. We walked the outlook on many occasions. It is a very informative area (since I'm from NJ) so there is a lot of history. It's also on the Pony Express.and the trail of tears. 😢 I reccomend a visit, free with access pass. Pays to be old and crippled, I put in my time.
I’m so happy that you’ve been able to share this story because I feel like what you did was the best thing that someone can do get out there and just start exploring and learning and it doesn’t matter what your limitations are at that point because you are engaging with the world around you
I always enjoy being able to share pieces of history so we can all learn more. I feel like sometimes we feel so far removed from the past that we don’t resonate with what is happening to realize that some of those things continue to happen today. So by learning for the past, we can make better tomorrow’s by not potentially going down, the same paths
Absolutely welcome! I’m just glad that people can see this historic places and be able to learn from them a bit so that we could take away some of those lessons
Thank you so much for checking it out and going down history with me. I love the brain wrinkles and being able to share them so it makes me excited when other people also enjoy learning a little bit more with me.
Hi Bunny, as always another one enjoyed. Very informative and the photos were amazing, like the ammunition used then not to mention the size and shape, size and weight differences. Thanks for visiting the area. Have a wonderful day 👍
This is a great video! I've been to Pea Ridge many times while traveling this area. Prairie Grove is close to my usual routes through here, so it'll be a stop on my next trip. Thanks for sharing.
There is a lot more to this, including a scenic drive, but the day I was there was so windy and made it impossible to film the rest so I went and checked it out, but didn’t share the entirety because no one could’ve heard what I was saying lol I think you will really like this one
@@BunnyPlaysHere Awesome! I'm pretty sure I'll like it too. It's still amazing to me how much there is to see in this area, it just takes a little looking to find it.
I enjoy coming along in a video tour. Some of the places you have seen along your travels I will do when I retire early at 62 1/2. Im selling everything and going van living with my Chihuahuas.
I am so excited that I am helping you build your bucket list of stops! You are going to have a wonderful set of travels with tons of great brain wrinkles
I find places like this to be fascinating because they give us all the facts and sometimes without all of the factual context it’s harder to understand what’s going on
I love listening about the history of wars. It always humbles me and I always thank a soldier. We can’t imagine how bad it got back then.

Just wondering why you say "Federals" instead of "Union." Not hating. Just wondering.

Why can people who deceive others continue to promote and be dishonest?
