Stealth Camping Disguised As Construction Worker
Вставка

- I went stealth camping behind some new construction and of course, the best disguise I could think of was a construction worker. I loaded up my sleeping bag and gear in a wheelbarrow and headed out to camp for the night. Pretty successful night, just camped under the stars. Thankfully no rain this time!

Fancy seeing you here jiggly! It's a funny world.

Or Yogi Bear!
The $30 hunk of Parmigiano Reggiano was one thing but then a restaurant sized Pepper Mill! Steve, you are one unique individual. No wonder everyone loves you.
i burst out laughing when i saw the giant hunk of cheese. the pepper mill was the cherry on top! Steve truly is amazing :D
Nothing suspicious about a man pushing a wheelbarrow into the woods with a chopped up body sized, "something" wrapped in a tarp. Nothing odd at all.
🤣🤣🤣🤣 I really needed that! I'm dying with laughter here 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Just what I was thinking, just spill a bit of that tomato sauce all over the tarp should help a lot.

Ha!
This man not only brings the spaghetti, meatballs, and sauce. Dude brought a whole block of Parmesan and a big freaking pepper mill to go with it. What an absolute legend.
What a man of mystery.
He uses tinned pizza sauce and precooked meatballs, then pulls out a block of parmesan and a grater.

Just because you’re being stealthy doesn’t mean you can’t have standards.
I laughed my ass off once the pepper mill came out
When he broke out the Parm I lost it! Iconic!😄🧀
I like the way you employ your camo. This past August a homeless guy and his gf (mid 20's) set up a small camp in a park where I walk the dogs. Their tent was bright blue with yellow stripes and stood out like a laser beam. One evening when walking the dogs he stepped out from the bushes right in front of me and had this startled expression as if he was expecting me to give him a hassle. I told him there was nothing to worry about and that I have been homeless myself so I get where he is coming from. I then pointed out that his camp stood out like a sore thumb and he really needed to camouflage it a bit. I suggested he cover the tent loosely with a brown tarp and lay some brush over top of it. The next day I was walking the dogs and as I walked past I noticed the camp was gone and figured they had moved on. On my last lap I saw the guy and asked him where he had moved to. he told me they hadn't moved and he had just done what I suggested and even he had a hard time finding the tent sometimes. I walked back by and unless you were specifically looking for it you could not tell it was there at all. They managed to stay there for over a month before they moved on.
Excellent empathy.
thats good use of entertainment 👌

As somebody who has worked on many construction sites, oil and gas sites, Frack sites etc, even if you see somebody you don’t know but they are wearing the “uniform “of a hardhat and reflective vest, you really wont question a thing. In fact if you don’t know them you assume they’re important and you should continue working without paying attention
I’ll second that, I did an internship for a sprinkler company and when I went to the job site in my hard hat and vest I stuck out like a soar thumb but I swear the guys started working a bit harder when I walked by😂
All they need is a clip-board and button down shirt (with tie) under their high-vis jacket and they're a site manager.
@@Jamal_Tyrone I've worn that uniform a dozen times when visiting work sites as a plebe but it's funny how much respect it draws - have a clipboard, button down (tie not even needed) and dress pants, "new" hi-vis clothing, and a white helmet... everyone instantly assumes you're some inspector or another and gives you all the space.
There’s something so perfect about cooking the pasta in the sauce but then bringing a cheese grater and fresh Parmesan to finish it off. I can see the planning process in my head, “oh I’ll make dinner Easy,” but then thinking “ fresh Parmesan is better, I’ll pack a cheese grater.” Reminds me of me and my brother’s crazy camping trips in high school. Being a construction worker, countless time this has come into my brain of something to do. Keep fighting the good fight Steve! We love ya
The idea is to do it outside with minimal prep. His OG stuff is more practical, now he’s just being creative for views.
You can get away with all sorts with a nice hard hat and reflective jacket!
The amount of placed I have walked into with a high vis jacket and a clipboard and no-one has stopped me is insane
I feel the beard helps add the final touch.
It's called hiding in plain sight.
Carrying a ladder also gives you carte Blanche a few places 😆
@@PurpleBox89 a beard and if you are outside put a cigarette in your mouth, you don't even have to smoke it but it adds to the illusion
Takes nice handy, small homemade box of mixed herbs, salt and sugar.
Brings entire block of parmesan, a grater and a footlong pepper grinder.
Welcome to camping with Steve!
Lol..Next time he will bring a campervan a generator, wardrobe and pack off wild horses...
And forgets a sleeping pad! Welcome indeed, love this dude.
that truly made me laugh out loud
The full-size pepper mill made me do a literal spit take with my Step 2.
The block of parm and pepper grinder had me dying 😂
When Steve was leaving the campsite in the morning I kept thinking what if the construction workers saw him and thought he was supposed to be working...and then Steve worked a 10 hour shift to stay true to the stealth 🤣🤣🤣
😂🤣😂🤣😂
"Hey, I don't recognize that guy. What's he doing?"
"Must be from a different crew. Not my circus, not my monkey."
He gets on the payroll, joins the union and is a foreman within a month
he'd sneak off site during lunch break and eat at the local five star restaurant
Man I gotta say you have quickly become my new favourite UA-camr Steve. In a time where everything you see online and on social media is all edited, fake, staged, artificial, it’s so nice to see someone making legit content like this. The fact that you genuinely enjoy doing this makes the videos all the better, you deserve a million subs my man thank you for the content. 💯🍻(edit) that spaghetti looked 🔥
Workers on the roof :
"Is that the bosses son again?"
"Probably" 😁
🤣😅🤣
Nah, that's just the temp guy hired to pick up trash. You can tell by the yellow hard hat, it cautions us to stay away.
Definitely more believable than the "business man"
Your comment had me rolling
LOL
Yeah. That business man look was more like my wife just kicked me outta the house and I have no where else to go. LOL
@@the_weed_in_your_garden9319 or just released from the halfway house and was given some job interview clothes.
That was hilarious; I don't think Steve even realises how funny he is.
As soon as I saw it I though it was too funny.
I have to agree.
This is just too funny!
I watched the whole thing.
He's a natural comedian.
I'm sitting here eating tuna salad, watching Steve stealth camping and, as usual, he's eating better than I am. He even had a cheese grater! 😮
You are a delightfully unique human being, Steve. Thank you for the content.
Steve: only bring the essentials
Also Steve: here is my cheese grater and wooden pepper mill
Essential to life
That is essential
Spoons to stir 'pasketti are over rated
Steve, me and the wife have had a week from hell. Honestly this video is the first good news we have had. Thank you for all the hard work, creativity, good humour and sheer mad determination.
I know it is a lot of pressure to put on you, but keep up the great work. All the best to you, beautiful wife and crazy neighbour.
I am imagining some construction supervisor coming over and yelling at Steve to get back to work!
Most wholesome channel on youtube for sure. Love you dude, if you had any idea. The small things, like when you said "everything gonna be alright" means so much to me, in difficult times.
Imagine a cop responding to a complaint from someone scared by the light in the woods, but they walk in when Steve is cracking the pepper on some spaghetti and meatballs. I'm dying!!!
Hahahahaha
He is like the bob ross of camping. Bob painted his happy trees, Steve lives in the happy trees. Im telling ya, its jsut that simple.
Steve is the best friend I ever had that doesn’t know me.
This description is perfect.
nailed it! bravo!!
He’s my best friend too. He doesn’t know who I am tho hahah.
Love this channel Steve!!! I tell everybody at work about it, I'm in Edmonton and love the content, it shines a bright light and gives me something to smile at when life gets me down. And I appreciate your videos for that 😊
Steve gets an "A" for creativity on this one. With a port o potty close by and a chair and a table for you there in the woods, what more could you ask for.
This is funny all the way around
I just wanted to see what's 4 dinner. And thx. For the trash patrol. Our neighborhood started looking alittle rough. So went out with ^solar flashlights and walked around our city block. Got 2 stuffed me. Bags. Strangers asked U picking up trash?**I'm like ur welcome. After they said thx. Thx. Steve.
The cheese grater and pepper grinder kept this from being a run of the mill stealth camping video. Nice touch. Love seeing these videos on Thursday.
Dude I died when he busted out the giant block of parmesan.
@@Xerr013 Haha same! Laughed for a solid two minutes when the pepper grinder came out after the cheese grater. The timing was perfect.
never leave the house without your proper italian pepper grinder
Love this! I had a great chuckle when the grated parmesan and fresh cracked pepper came out. It's all in the details. Well done!
Hey Steve, I just wanted to let you know that I really enjoy watching your videos and that you seem like to cool person to have a beer with. I hope you make more videos in the future.
I love how his rig can be so minimalist and then BAM! plot twist he’s busting out the cheese grater and pepper mill. Thanks for the great content Steve!
especially like the car he has waiting to take him home or the times when he calls for a ride using his cell phone... beam me up scotty!

Steve reminds me of that one guy of a group of friends that keeps their childhood traditions going. All while everyone's busy living their boring adulthood lives.
Worded perfectly
I think this is the first video of yours I have seen and it did not disappoint. I’ve heard someone refer to you as the Bob Ross of stealth camping! That sounds about right lol. I giggled all the way through this video and so it began from there I had to keep watching. I don’t know if you know how funny you are? Maybe you do but you are a natural. Thank you 🙏🏻 for giving us fun and interesting adventures to live vicariously thorough you and also to inspire us in our own life’s journey. It’s really helped lately during this Winter ❄️ and the Covid mess. Can’t wait to go out and camp again! Thank you for helping us in our mid life crisis too! God bless you ! Can’t wait to see how your house turns out. I love it! It almost reminds me of an earth ship the way it’s shaped. Your land and everything is awesome. You are truly blessed! Hey to Crazy Neighbor and Beautiful Wife!
