i don't know what is the diameter :P. Did you used part which rotate in the bolt? My one crashed rubber bands every 30 shots... You can make smaller tension in the main mechanism for "long life"
My gun could break through 14 sheets of paper (7 envelopes) with special pointed piece. It is very dangerous round. I didn't show this in the main video but i made short video about it...
yes, heavier barrel gives better accuracy... I am thinking... What gun is better to make)) In june I made bullpup verison of HPR, but i think that it is to easy to show it) Good luck in building, man)
infectedbear95. today i made my first (ever) lego weapon and it uses 2 rubber bands. 1 for the trigger (to hold it back) and other to shoot. it can shoot ANYTHING (lol, i even tried it with batteries, and it worked). the weapon is kind middle size(small, but long ish) and it shoots around 20 meters (not from roof top).
i normally shoot 1x2 lego pieces ( they are cornered ). but the bad thing is i cant build a top for the gun. cuz i dont know how to pull back the rubber band. and shoot it while still attached and stuff. i wish i could build a nice gun like urs. :( well looks like im stuck with this 20meter gun :(

i'm working on a single shot gun like this, shooting special ammos, with a heavier front, to be more accurate.

i tried tones of different bullets... But aerodynamics... I have chosen this type because it doesn't rotate so much like a standart bricks

Probably you made crossbow... It is harder to make powerful rifle with barrel then make powerul crossbow...

Of course it's going to fire farther... Your shooting it from a higher angle than your target
and it can break truth really hard paper ( folded a lot)

My bullets have a very good aerodynamics but you can use different ammo. Ammo must have size 1x1x5 (4,3,2,1)
