Junkyard God is my fav Pig Destroyer track and I wish I could see them play this album live in person
2:17 recognize that shit anywhere.
@@markhynes5160 lol beat me to it
Literally the best album they ever wrote.
Is it really better than Terrifyer? Terrifyer is insanely good.
@@terremoto6663 I enjoy prowler and 38 counts more than terrifyer. Though that is a solid album.
unironically one of the best albums ever written of any genre. to todd day it's still just as fresh and brutal as the first day i listened to it
I’m one of the weirdos who thinks Book Burner is the best.
@@Flux799book burner is sick
Adam Jarvis has some big shoes to fill on drums. Brian Harvey was on another level of his own on that album. A monster on the drum kit.
Definitely. The drums on Prowler are unreal. He just beats the shit outta those drums
Jarvis will never have the raw viscosity Harvey had. Jarvis is a beast from the underworld on drums, for sure, but he just doesn’t have that loose insanity as their previous skinsman.
38 Counts of Battery. Best Album Ever.
This album changed my perspective on modern extreme metal. As soon as Cheerleader Corpses hits, I get the same adrenaline and although I don't remember the initial release (I was three years old) I get more rush from it every time I listen. I've just been stood I'm the kitchen this morning and drank coffee for the 30-odd mins skitzin out to it
You need somebody to talk to? Lololol I'm available. 😂😂😂
Must be hardest for the fucking BASSIST to literally create baselines for all of these 100 miles per second tracks.
This was my favorite PD album, ive loved it since it came out. Wished I coulda seen this.
RIP Blake, bloody legend
Wow, I did not know this. How fuct up. RIP
Really wish I could see this live. One of my all time favorites
That drummer is a cool-ass dude giving props like that
Possibly my favorite extreme metal album of all time.
Dude.. my favorite pig destroyer album by far.... drums absolutely fucking kill everything
You can't just end the video there before the best riff on the whole album! How dare ye!
i dont know man, i would say the first riff from ''starbelly'' is the best from the album. it gets me every fucking time
@perico los palotes I’m assuming you read Decibel. How mature is it because I want to buy it as a teen but I definitely can’t get it if it has things like top less girls or really graphic violence
@@johnadams7145 ... What? I dont read Decibel. I dont know what it is
@perico los palotes Sorry I thought you read it since this is the magazines UA-cam channel. Nevermind then.
@@calamardobike125 yeah i agree. No other riff like the beginning riff to starbelly has ever made me so fucking angry and energetic. Starbelly, Evacuating Heaven, Piss Angel, Junkyard Dog, Hyperviolet, and Preacher Crawling are the highlights imo.
One of the best bands I have EVER seen live and I have seen A lot of bands. Adam Jarvis is literally the best drummer I have seen live and you can tell he loves what he does. Unbelievable.
Hearing Heart and Crossbones live would be fucking crazy
Long live Blake Harrison
Man... R.I.P. Blake. 🤘
My guy got the Kinghorse TShirt. Produced by Glen Danzig. Nice!!!!!
Two things. First it would be nice to see this Philly show recorded and released. Second, damn do a tour, do a mini tour, whatever. These one off festival shows are cool but a lot of fans can't get to them. Saying all that i love this fucking band. Scott's riffs are monsters. Cheers.
Miss the lineup that actually recorded this classic.
Jimmy Kimmel is a hell of a drummer
Watching from Iowa... lol.
Leave it to the samples guy to put his foot in his mouth and diss a fan base because he was trying to recover from his dumb comment before
J.R and Scott should be the only ones talking about
tx for one of the saddest songs for me
Just got into PD in the last few months and would pay about 900 quid to see this album live hahaha
Assume you are in the UK. They are doing it in full at Damnation festival in November!!
That is good looking out
@@jonday666
im gonna be game man i fuckin promise you. i cant wait to see you, mayhem, and beer next month
My favorite track on prowler is Tickets to the car crash. Not the remastered version though. They completely changed the voices on the remastered
One in the Centre looks like Stipe Miocic
A band called 'Gutworm' recommended Pig Destroyer to me years ago, thank fuck they did.
The microphone quality doesn't do this interview justice
PLEASE COME TO WINNIPEG
Yooooo I'll second this
I don’t think this ever happened
It didn't.
Sad
@@trentcook4255
Blake always reminds me of Chris farley
No, Jim Gaffigan. If you don't know who that is, look him up, seriously.
I know this didn't go ahead but, were they trying to orientate the new bass player in these old songs
Yeah, looks like it. Just the arrangements, starts and stops, etc seems like a real task when playing it beginning to end
@@33Irishpride
Damn shame this tour never went ahead. I only discovered PD last year but damn I would legit pay about 80 quid to see this show hahaha
@@paulphoenix1669
Don’t feel too bad, my buddy turned me onto them back in 06 and I didn’t really connect until 5 or 6 years ago myself. PITY is probably my favorite from them.
Presume that show didnt go ahead?
Nope.
Liked favorited subscribed 4 Pig destroyer
jesus the drumming at 2:36 shows how the drums on this album was something else
No bass needed
No BASS needed!!
