I've always found this to be Pig's most vividly horrifying moment, such a haunting number, and I can't believe they did this. Very amazing. Should've been there.
Thanks Metal Injection for posting this. Pig Destroyer great job!
lol I just got interrupted by chick fil a commercial... totally changed the vibe of this whole thing
Lmao
This is amazing, that EP is brilliant,a risky move, something out of the comfort zone for a band with a great consistent dischography, and they did it perfectly! Without a doubt bands like Nasum,Pig Destroyer,Cephalic Carnage are built different, they always tried to renew and push the limits of the genre
Definitely not paint by numbers bands. They tried to see how extreme they could make extreme metal and I'm fuckin grateful
Wtf? They just dropped the middle part with the clean, delay guitar & haunting vocals? That was easily one of the best parts of this whole song. Pretty disappointing. Still my fav band tho & props to them for bringing this back.
Raptor45 because this not the 45 min version
@@IdioTQc, The Song Is 37 Mins Long Not 45 Mins
Being there live, some of this has been cut out.
I wish you guys had taped the grindcore set too. We need a really good live video from this band's show.
THE BEST THING I EVER DID SAW. TAKE ME BACK.
14:35 we get it, Scott, you vape
+Ben Thrall haha I think he's dabbing mate
Ben Thrall there's prolly speed in the pipe
holy crap that's a big cloud
@@maxdclxvi facepalm. What U see is the smoke machine mate df
That reminds me of the grindcore documentary called "Slave to the Grind". In the last part, they were talking about Agoraphobic Nosebleed and while Scott was doing the sound check, he puffed a fat fucking hit.
this is apocalyptic as fuck. PxDx always have your back
That void shirt!!
Brody Forrester honestly made me like them even more lol
Jim's twin brother Gary Gaffigan on synth
love love love love
wish i was there...
Still one of the most haunting sonic experiences ever done. Given jr's writing topics and storytelling its just darkness and reality. Probably the only song writer that can truly put down the horrible emotions many feel, probably during adolescence and early adulthood. Can only imagine the amount of suicides that have occurred whilst people had these thoughts.
Epic, gutted tho cos I should have been there, glad it got filmed
I really wish I would have seen the audiences reaction the first time they performed this live.
People slagging this off who weren't even there. Dicks. It was epic as fuck, and I don't even like Natasha.
Love anything Adam Jarvis is in
Scott is #vapenation member lol
Intro reminds me of Swans
I was there, all WEEDkend was killer!.... simply sad the Temples' extincion.
Hey guys, can anyone tell me what Scott's using at about 3:20, to depress the frets?
+Thor Janson That would be an E-Bow.
An Ebow. Wata from Boris uses it a lot
🤘🤘
I wonder if the red-head photographer read the lyrics and wondered "am I in danger?" LOL
Pig destroyer always kills it
I was here for this, it was amazing
The touch of God
Love or hate this, you gotta tip your hat to them, being a grind band and making a stoner jam that’s so crushing
epic
kill it Adam!
Let's play I spy on Scott's pedal board. I see a chromatic tuner and I think a metal zone.
Klyde Marmasett *saying all that being a bassist and don't knowing shit about guitars*
isn't the metalzone said to be the worst distortion pedal or something ?
Crooked Dog ayy whadda you? some kinda wise guy? badabing ova heeeeeah. look at this mooley.
Klyde Marmasett coming from someone who.listens to queens of the stoneage
is that a Dying Fetus song at the beginning ??
+soleafar22 Yes.
opium the masses
Hi
Scumbag ads.
It's late summer and I'm cold.
what's that device the guitarist is using on his strings?
+ilanj87 It is called an ebow. They are pretty fun. Wolves in the Throne Room use them too, but it is mostly used for prog rock and jazz playing.
Wata uses it a lot.
Drone
What's the imagery on the screen from?
One day i must see them live factual conduct.
Still a dreamsequence. Wunderfull heavy music from such a tempo sinner band.😅Pretty good.
Only complaint I have is that guitar’s should’ve been ⬆️.
Other than that. They absolutely fucking killed it. Like usual 🤘🏻❤️
how the fuck do they know what they are doing
Man i would have loved to see this and eat an edible beforehand hahaha that'd be insane
Fuck yea church of misery
Wanna skip the BS? Hit 3:37
That Was Not BS, That Was Just The Intro
church of misery tshirt
Come on someone gimme a harder hitter than Adam? No cause you can't 💪💪💪
JR hayes is gonna get destroyed soon
Who died? Lol
??!!
They were much better when they were a trio. They've lost their unique darkness. 😐
not true
youll never get 90s pig destroyer back even if they went to a trio again
Fucken sic intro. Just sayin .
Jarvis is a machine gun type of drummer, this song doesn't fit his style of playing at all, he can't execute all the heaviness and slowness of the song. I think they chose wrong place to performe this song, it is more apropriate for smaller shows, all the lights kills the atmospheric performance of the song, it should be executed in darker, more obscure venue. Love Pig Destroyer, but i dont like this performance.
chessmaster212 It was a lot better when you could see the video projected on the screen
chessmaster212 ***** Yeah, man, it was definitely the sort of gig where you had to be there to appreciate it. It was mesmerising.
i agree that this is not his strong point, he tries to overcomplicate simple drum parts. also im not liking the tone he gets from drums, he smashes them too hard without finesse.
PD sucks so much shit these days. Used to be my favourites.
NGL I'd be pissed if I paid money to see PD and the first 15 min was just samples..
Blake is so useless. It's cringey seeing him standing there doing nothing
Nice boredmetal
Damn I thought this was gonna be pro audio soundboard recording but apparently not. Wish they recorded this properly instead of having a bunch of different cameramen in different angles. It would be cool if the band was energetic but they play 30 minutes of stationary doom which isn't exactly entertaining. This brings me to my ultimate dissapointment of hearing this ferocious band playing a very boring pointless meander. Pig Destroyer playing 30 minutes of doom sludge is pretty much the last thing we need in 2015. The spoken word stuff they did on Prowler In The Yard was far more original and entertaining. It sent chills down my spine too. Where is the grinding, where is the craziness? Shame really...
lecturehc They did two sets at Temples. One was this song and the other was 45 minutes of grind
lecturehc They recorded Natasha during Terrifyer.
This song is very old man. Back from 2004.
I don't like people like this guy who doesn't want bands to try something different and want them to just do the same shit over and over. Who said music is meant to be opressed instead of free ? Music is meant to be free and these guys should be able to experiment
