Helpful video, as I am tackling my neighbors dodge. I would add that I always add anti seize to the back of the rotors and all the bolts. I'm always careful to not overuse the anti seize so none gets on the rotor or pads. But it sure helps the next guy who may be working on the brakes. I use a weighted rubber hammer for any "adjustments" as well.
Thanks for the video. I'm going to tackle this job on all four wheels soon. Just wondering what kind of headlights you have on your truck. I am looking at after market LED upgrades for mine and like the look of the ones you have on yours. Thanks again.
No I haven’t, if you can reach the bend in the pins heat them with a torch and try to hit them at the bend if it’s within reach, if not you will have to get a new caliper.
No unless you’re changing the brake fluid and you should never refill the brake fluid reservoir once you put new brake pads the fluid should go back to the max line
This is the best video I’ve seen on doing the brakes on a 2016 ram 1500 4x4
Glad it could help!
Out staying. Great video on what I needed to know how to put new pads on my 2016 Dodge RAM. It sure was a very helpful video. Thanks my friend....
First break Chang I’ve ever done. Went seamlessly, thanks to your video. Thank you sir
I’m glad it helped!
Watched a few videos. You made it simpler by far. Ty
This video was very helpful. Thank you. I was able to change my brakes with no problem.
Thank you! It’s comments like this that help when I wonder if I’m doing any good.

Good advice, especially in a northern state with a lot of salt on the roads for months
Great video . Myself I just ad a bar over the end of the ratchet to make it easier to remove the bigger bolts
Yeah, I should have .
Can you show a video of jacking up the truck and placing the jack stands. No good videos of that

Have you ever encountered the pins being bent? If so how were you able to remove them?

Opening the bleeder not necessary?
No unless you’re changing the brake fluid and you should never refill the brake fluid reservoir once you put new brake pads the fluid should go back to the max line
No. The pads weren’t as bad as I thought so the caliper didn’t need a lot of retracting.
no loctite?
