The headers were great when it came to adding power but honestly the day I installed the headers was when my exhaust started sounding like shit. I never found an exhaust that had a happy medium of sound.
I had kooks headers to catted Y pipes, Borla atak, was way too loud for me. Shop put a magnaflow muffler on it and it was wayy to quiet. Ended up combining together the atak muffler with borla resonator part 40085 I think it was, and it was perfect.
I have long tube headers cam with borla attack wayyyy to Deamn loud and sounds like 💩 going to try out changing it to the biggest magnaflow muffler they have to see how it’ll turn out
Hey man I’m curious which one do you like? The Borla Res or Vibrant Ultra Quite? I want to dampen the tin can rasp noise for my car but at the same time keeping it pretty decently loud
It wasn't horrible. I did it on my garage floor in 30 degree weather getting over covid lol. Its time consuming and your hands will hurt after but I'd still do it again over paying someone.

How is the Borla res in general comparing to the Vibrant Ultra Quiet?

Did you replace the Borla atak resonator with the Vibrant one? Or did you just add it right after the borla resonator?
I added the Vibrant to the borla atak. Its still too loud so I'm taking the atak out and adding a magnaflow muffler. Its too rowdy for me still.
I'm trying to quiet down my stainless works full system with long tube headers, mini cats and no resonators
Where is the placement of the vibrant resonator?

Does it drone bad?
Just driving normally it wasn't bad, but if it downshifts or I get on it the drone is pretty bad.
How bad is the smell? I want to go no cats but heard the smell is unbearable

Compared to how it was before its wayyy quieter, but still insanely loud.
