Man I don't know what to say. I got out 8 and some change from the Marine corps. I moved on to the Fire department for the DOD recently because it was an easier transition then an office job but I found hardship once I took my EMT course with tons of stress like always and now that I've passed it I find myself falling into a state of depression, I guess because I haven't been without stress for almost a ten years and once I heard you talk about it. A light switch came on and man it is uplifting. I love what you guys are doing and you have reached me on a deep deep place. I'm not alone.
3 years later, still one of my favorite episodes. Tyler's perspective has been a motivating factor for myself since this episode was released. Had to come back and watch it again.
I'm way late to the party I know I just discovered your podcast and have been binge watching . This thing makes so much sense I'm a Navy vet . my time In was high stress fast paced ...etc looking at it now I think the chaos is what I'm missing . Doubt anyone is still reading these , but just wanted to say thanks
Loved this podcast, really helped me wrap my head around the difficulties I've faced leaving the active lifestyle. Thanks guys for your awesome input and wise advise derived from your experiences.
Thank you for this video. I just had my ah ha moment. I thought it was just me. It's funny how sometimes you hear what you need when you need it. Thank you again.
Im not sure if anyone is still reading these, but as a veteran the discussion resonates deeply with me. I have also been following Craig Sawyer and Veterans for Child Rescue. Im currently getting my ducks in a row and perhaps I can join the fight and scratch that itch. They can use all the help they can get over there.
I've listened to this episode alot couldn't figure out why I'm not a vet I dont have PTSD but I have had a very tough life and for some reason as the bigger problems disappear in my life I just seem to get more and more stressed I just realized I make myself stressed I find problems to have because I've always needed a problem to solve if I don't have a problem my brain doesn't work right I think today is important thank you drinking Bros for maybe Solving what has been the biggest hurdle I didn't know I had
"no matter how long you been in, as soon as you get out, you start at zero" man Tyler killed it with that one. most real shit ive heard in a long time.
I'm not a vet, but I've got several good friends who are. The LTSD thing makes a lot of sense, from the outside, watching the things that my friends do to, seemingly anyway, inject chaos into their lives. Cheating, doing dumb stuff for a thrill, etc. etc.
This is an amazing podcast. I know I'm way behind but recently just started watching/listening to yall because a good friend of mine was sending me snaps of funny parts of the live show. I finally was like fuck it I'm gonna go back to the beginning here on UA-cam but the earlier episodes aren't on here. So I am now on episode 25 on Spotify and I see how it's not on UA-cam 🤣🤣. I wish I would have been more open to listening to people talk on air 3 years ago to hear this at 27 when I less than a year from my ETS. I'm sure nobody on drinkin' bros is even checking shit this far back but just wanted to say this was fantastic.
Holy fuck, I’m a police officers in a dangerous city and I’ve been in my third shooting and a bunch of other shit in the military. I did this same fucking thing when I was off of work, I literally remodeled my entire house while I was out of work waiting to be cleared for the shooting. This totally is true.... This is mind blowing to me !! I’m going back to work in a week and I was worried. This makes me feel better a ton lol I’m normal
Single Square Wipe (SSW): Corner to opposite corner, corner to corner, rip off the tip of the triangle, unfold and place finger through hole. run finger up ass crack gathering all poo on finger. fold up square around poo, pull off while wiping off finger. use torn corner from tip of triangle to clean said shit from under fingernail. if that doesn't work than grab that fluffy fucking bunny and get that shit done!
I like this podcast and the team never quit podcast with Marcus Luttrell and Dave Rutherford. There is one common denominator between spec ops dudes; they always talk about poo!

MRE paper has come in very handy a time or two, and even though its not much, you're so thankful you got it!

I think LTSD explains why so many of us become cops and firefighters. Thanks Tyler.

Rumor has it that JT is still shitting.
Great Podcast. I noticed the Wilmington Brewing sticker; should totally try waterline brewing in Wilmington! Keep up the great work!
I'm glad I'm not the only person who argues with himself in the mirror over f****** life decisions
" My life is Rossome" hahaha i had to listen again.

Why is Jarred Taylor's name even on the description?
The shit story is was to fucking funny, 😂😂😂
Single Square Wipe (SSW): Corner to opposite corner, corner to corner, rip off the tip of the triangle, unfold and place finger through hole. run finger up ass crack gathering all poo on finger. fold up square around poo, pull off while wiping off finger. use torn corner from tip of triangle to clean said shit from under fingernail. if that doesn't work than grab that fluffy fucking bunny and get that shit done!
Kick the can Bert!
Cannot stop laughing at the first 11 minutes
13 minutes of talking about Sh!t. That was great. Too bad JT had to miss it all.
Ah ha. LTSD is a good thesis for doctorate.
Lmao!! 😂😂😂
JT had at least 2 toilet sandwiches.
23 mins in and Jared’s still in the shitter
Have Tyler worked with Clayne Crawford ? If not they should.
Great pod cast I agree with a lot of things that were said but damn JT how long does it take to shit
Damn, did JT get hit by a norovirus or something?
Lord of the rings referance. Nice.
