I was the enel and I did consider going 5 with franky 7 with enel than gedatsu. I’m going to be honest I don’t understand why I did linlin but I do like the 6 6 gedatsu better. I did had my deck list in the beginning I was testing running 2 flampe 2 hiyori and I ended up going back to 4 flampes. Thanks for reviewing my game tho helped a lot
I'm slowly swapping to having only Luffy decks so I can't wait for this deck! I think OP08 is gonna be swapping between this, BY Luffy, and the new SD black Luffy.
Thanks for the interesting Video On the third RP Luffy game against Lucci. The Leaderattack on your second turn made it possible for your opponent to use their Lucci as an answer to your Zorojuro. Without your attack he would have had only 2 cards in trash and Lucci would be usless. Maybe they run shigan and Zoro dies or they played Lucci as a vanilla and Zoro lives, I just wanted to point it out😊
With Lingering Buff Effects in this game, there are three different timings: This Turn (2c Flap Thread) Until the start of your Next Turn (9c Newgate) Until the end of your Opponents Next Turn (2c Luffy, Sabo and Ace) Newgate's Effect lasts until the start of Their Next Turn. So in other words, Luffy time skips past their turn so the effect remains active. Effects from the 2c guys used in BY Luffy end at the end of the Opponents turn, so 10c Time Warp Luffy is a very strong counter to that deck, whereas Newgate covers it.
loving this for sure, i always find with rp luffy though that both kid and newgate are your best cards in the deck since they are huge bodies that fortify you defensively, (playing kid one turn and then newgate the next allows you to go up to a 9k leader) so I would definitely find a way to play more of them. The games you tend to lose are ones where you don't see enough top end. Queen also just has to be at four in this deck imo, the deck needs card draw badly since you're countering almost every hit. that specifically could be a reason to play the new onami over jinbe as the blocker to play off of luffytaro, even though she's very easy to remove at 2k statline, since the draw power means you get value off of her regardless of if she's removed. The other best option for a blocker in this deck is Baccarat, she really fixes hands being able to discard cards without counter as 2ks instead and a 3c blocker is very important for the 4 don turn after you use gear 5 luffy effect, because if you can play down a good blocker for 3 and keep one in reserve for a rad beam you're sitting pretty defensively. I have played so many games with her where i would've completely bricked had i not been able to use her discard effect. I'm definitely excited to try this out! it'll be hard to cut dragon since he's one of my favorite cards in the list but I think you have to if you're building around luffytaro.
why not replace queen with ST18-002 Nami Blocker? on play trash one card draw two, same effectt as queen but shes 4 cost and playable with 7c luffy effect, searchable
You can run it if you want to, it's not a bad card. Personally, I'm just not a huge fan of it requiring you to have 8 Don and the fact that it's only 2000 Power. I've won games turning Blockers sideways
They're actually very comparable. Purple gets 2 Extra Life but is limited to Purple only Support. Red Purple gets 6000 Base Power and access to 2 different colors. They can both be played in similar builds as well. I think in general Purple Luffy will be more focused on going wide and going a Tempo rout. Whereas, Red Purple Luffy will probably be more focused on going tall and pushing his Leader Power as high as possible each turn.
Ya, the new Usopp is really solid, if you want a way to Rush and go wider on a turn to closeout/go for Lethal, go the Franky. If you want a way to tap down a Blocker, go the new Usopp
You can run Black Maria if you want, but I'm not sure why we would need it. If you are thinking about following up your 10c Luffy turn with it, it rarely works out like that. The 10c Luffy turn usually happens one of two ways, you win right there on the spot or your opponents barely survives and wins on their next turn. Which is why I gave the example of being able to cheat out Sanji on the cheap and leave 1 Don up for a Rad Beam.
@@Vvulfrik this makes sense, I just was under the impression the black maria was a staple 4 of in every purple deck but this deck plays different than kaido or RP Law

Also looking back at it at around 9:40 I think it happens I took it for the memes knowing whatever character they play I can counter out lol
5pm release or 7 pm does not matter to me. I'm watching my daily VV video 😀

Love the content Vv

Why is that Newgate's ability still sticks with Marco after using G5 Luffy? Isn't same as BY Luffy's interactions? Or did I miss something?
With Lingering Buff Effects in this game, there are three different timings:
This Turn (2c Flap Thread)
Until the start of your Next Turn (9c Newgate)

Thank you for the explanation I was just thinking about asking this.

How does rp luffy compare with Purple leader luffy with the new support?
