Having to do things more than once like on the pedal assy just means you are now officially "really good at it" and maybe on your way to being expert. I'm really good at a lot of things I never wanted to be....hehe. Also I'd watch the heck out of a 351c build. Just having one to build is pretty special.
That Cleveland would be a great engine for your Fairlane. My dad and I shoehorned one into his. We had to shave the shock towers and modify the existing oil pan. We made it work, though.
Stroked Cleveland would be a be in the ol girl! We’ll build a W and a C down the road and see how they both fair. I’ve always been a fan of the Cleveland’s but can’t hate on the Windsors!
If you use a diaphragm clutch you’ll probably have to remove that big assist spring. If you use an original type 3 finger clutch you’ll need it. Cool build man!!
I think there is interest in a Cleveland build but let me offer some insight into that. If it’s an M code motor it’s worth it. Also, reach out to Dragboss garage. He is the Cleveland expert as well as Track Boss (tim Meyer) for some innovative parts. Especially in the oiling area. I’ve built a few. They are awesome
Once the transmission fluid is that bad, iny experience the tranny is toast. I've been lucky twice after adding a treatment with the new fluid but 9 out of ten times, no luck.
Keep plugging away at it guys, y'all will make it!! Love that you are doing something other than a Mustang. 🙂
Thank you, will keep getting this videos out for you guys (new video out now). Yeah fun to change it up! Wait till the next build 😅
Stoked to see all the coverage of the Fairlane build!!!!
Thanks brother… slightly behind 😅😅😅😅
4-speed/5-speed is always the way to go.......IMO. Nice job on the pedals. Look forward to more. Be safe and stay well.
Absolutely, manual is the only way for these fun drivers! Thank you, much appreciated and same to you!
Yes I would love to see a Cleveland build. And Yes I have seen a few of that Trans over the years.

I think I speak for all Aussie viewers with a huge yes for a Cleveland build.
I don’t think I can compete with you guys! Every Aussie build I see is NEXT LEVEL!
@@Theoldcarchannel. Doesn't need to be next level. I'd be happy with a standard rebuild with some handy tips and tricks.

You look more and more like your Dad.

Forsure, looked like it was never apart. Internals didn’t look all that bad, but pulled it apart to make sure nonetheless!
