    Oh wow! I wish I would have seen this video before I built my rug tufting frame. That was my 1st time using a circular saw, and the only thing I knew about a speed square was how to use it to scribe a straight line. I’ll be building a larger tufting frame soon, and I’ve saved this video to my reference playlist. You walked me through changing the cord on my pendant lamp earlier this afternoon too! I wish you were still making videos because the 2 that I watched today really helped me out a lot. ✌🏼💜🛼

    What if I'm trying to cut a straight line on a large piece of wood and it's uneven on all sides?

      I would square up one side of the material to create your reference surface.
