Be sure to double up though if you are feeding a few as this scone round doesn't last long on our kitchen table. The kids absolutely loved it! Be sure to try some of my soup recipes to go with it. A good tattie soup or a pea or spinach would work really well.

Music straight out of Great Smoky Mountains, 👏.
Try a Stew using a red wine from Chile'. The terrior down there adds a vitality to say a good Malbec or Merlot using it in a Beef Stew.
i really like your recipes. This ones a keeper and I would add a few more veggies like turnips, parsnips in both tops and bottoms. Maybe more Leeks
or potatoes too! Just me trying to add more veg to my diet!! Thanks for sharing it is greatly appreciated.😊
YUM! Yes, this is absolutely perfect for the cold weather, excellent timing!!! 👏😋 We had a few inches of snow this morning here in New Mexico, the first of the season. True story, I actually plan to make "Beef and Ale Stew" tomorrow, for the pantry. The recipe I am using for pressure canning includes mushrooms but I will add carrots, onions and potatoes as well. Any dumplings or flour to thicken it up will have to wait until the jar is opened for serving. Yours looks delicious and I'm sure your family loved it! 💖 Thanks for sharing this & stay warm! ☃❄ 😄

It looks really good. But I would use water instead of alcohol. I don't like the taste of alcohol.
The alcohol cooks off. Only the water, sugars and nutrients stay.
