      What, no COFFEE ?!
My friend, is that it ? That's a good "Greyman/Get home starter pack". From what you showed, you can wear some of that stuff in addition to EDC on your belt/other places. Med kit should definitely be in an outside pocket or worn.
I really like your videos, so fun, so cool. As a former U.S. ARMY AIRBORNE PARATROOPER (still am til death) and a III(3)%er Patriot, my mentor (U.S. ARMY RANGER, multi-tour Vietnam combat Vet) said to always pack for a solo mission (scout, recon, trail blazer, ambush bait 😆). In a soldier's words, 1* (one ass to risk). Get in, get it done and adios señorita. Bugging out is get ready, get going and adios MFs. But only if needed after bugging in. My urban/ wilderness pack is ready to go in a moment's notice. Packed lite for soldier's mission (Ranger burrito, local map, clothing, "TOOLS", etc.) but also with 7 days food (2 a day) like home prep MREs, powdered milk, protein shake powder, multi vitamins, COFFEE, important documents, etc.
I live in a small "city" in deep south Texas and believe me, the border is a complete DISASTER, FKN CHAOS. Gov. Abbott, U.S. Border Patrol, local law enforcement and citizens (GOD Bless them all) are doing all they can. A law abiding citizens no permit required open/concealed firearms carry was recently passed. Dead bodies of all ages, rapes of all ages. The FLOOD of killer drugs, criminals of all types, terrorists. The hundreds of thousands of unknown illegal aliens coming in, healthy or diseased. This is insane ! LETS GO BRANDON !
Everyone here is prepped or getting prepped in one way or another. When I'm going Greyman (already am), I have my A.L.I.C.E. ready to go inside of a roller/ extending handle suitcase and another bag with my "other good stuff " to get out without bringing attention to my military background while looking like an average shmo but pistol ready. Contents will be readily deployed when needed or in the sticks. Pretty cool 😎, huh ? In my small prepped apartment, I'll be (stand your ground) Greyman unless forced out or go tactical for whatever reason. Finding a new urban shelter or getting out of town, I'll be (escape and evasion) Greyman unless I'm forced to go tactical. I will help people when possible. But when I'm in the wild (urban/ wilderness), it's fangs out, time to go primal. Archangel Michael (Patron Saint of U.S. ARMY AIRBORNE) and I will survive to defend my country and help others to survive. It's the duty and privilege of being a true AMERICAN.
Prep with a mission in mind. Prep to survive. Prep to succeed. GOD helps those who help (prep) themselves. Just remember, it worked for Noah.

Almost everyone misses one component that’s highly important which is a kit for addressing blisters. In a bug out situation almost everyone will be walking, and feet really take a pounding when you’re not used to it. Every bug out kit should include extra items for foot care. Thank you very much for your videos, they are always most helpful!

Perhaps just a pair of joggers to wear when making a fire, and sleeping. Great video I have most of those items myself. One suggestion on your sunglasses you might wrap them up in glasses cleaning cloth before you put them in your bag. I had a pair of those very same glasses and even though you put them in the bag that plastic rubs on them and will mess up your lenses. And it has an ugly spot and basically they don't work as good. Maybe even not be able to see out of one side. So what I learned to do was wrap them in a cleaning rag and then put it in there. Those cleaning rags aren't that big but will easily go across both lenses. I don't have to worry about it anymore when I turn 42 years old I needed to start wearing glasses probably from all my years in construction being around welding. So now I have to carry an extra pair of regular glasses usually my old ones but I do the same thing always protect your lenses they don't do any good if they are all scratched up or have rub spots on them.

I wish you had made a list of everything in your bag.

Its good to see that I am not the only one who is focusing on my "go bag". With alot of the rhetoric surrounding politics, food shortages etc its a great time to check your provisions. Although my Savotta is a tad smaller, it still holds everything to get me to point Z.

I think the pack is amazing! I'd switch a few things out though, I'd have the first aid kit with the poncho, the Weapons i'd have a chest rig easier to get to and out of the backpack waist band way, a kabar type knife with the chest rig or on the shoulder strap to get to faster something 3-4 inches easier to get to. And Definitely something for blisters, I'd probably get a fold out solar panel charger too something with a little more kick to it. it's kinda small like that one you have but it folds out and has a little bit more to it and you can hook it to your backpack and unfold it and charge it at the same time your walking. Great Video, I seen your hobo kit which i though was really cool too! :)

Thanks for the reminder coming into the height of hurricane season. I will most likely end up bugging in, but needing to evacuate is not outside of the realm of possibilities. Of course escaping hurricane surge waters have some different needs (pets, kids, insurance papers, hard to replace documents, etc), but it’s a good reminder to recheck my kit. I have all my overnight primitive camping essentials in a duffle bag and just came back from a trip. I should recheck it and restock as needed.

Wonderful video. I like how you compartmentalize your gear in kits. I am particularly interested in the 70 miles in 2 days scenario.

Thats a nice looking bug out bag. I am impressed with how you have got it all inside. You cant get nutrient survival in the UK which is a shame becvause those small pouches of food are such a great idea.

Thank you for this video, I enjoyed watching it. Consider adding a couple of 55 gal heavy duty contractor bags and some duct tape or gaffer tape. Both very lightweight with countless uses. And I don't know your EDC I assume you will be carrying, but a good full tang knife and a multi tool are invaluable.

You should have a 3 liter water bladder in your pack ! You might not be able to get to a water source every so often to keep your body hydrated ! Also a snake bite kit and insect repellent would be nice to have. Also thermal blankets and a thermal reflective tarp that's silver on one side and colored on the other like a light green or brown or even better a camouflaged side to put over your tent /hide away area so not to be detected from above !!!

a bivy? i figured you for a hammock guy, frankly i'm at the point where i don't want to be on the ground anymore so that's a switch out for me!! i carry one of those radioes too good little piece in a hits the fan kit! i also keep a sewing kit i found at discount drugmart in mine as of last year it was about buck forty nine and it's palm sized with more than enough to deal with a inroute repair! multiple repairs to be honest! but i'd switch out the energizers to duracells i've had bed experiences with energizers more than once!! and i'd add one of those cold steel 10 inch square ended machete/belt knives (forgetting their name for it at present!) it'd help with getting and splitting firewood clearing the way and digging holes without being too noticeable security wise it might be worth adding a spool of mono fishing line to the kit to rig trip lines with can rattles around your camp with a few hooks and sinkers thrown in for good measure!
