The Tamer has a very low base crit chance. You don't want to build for any crit on a weapon that has a very low base crit chance. You'll only end up with slightly more crit and a lot of wasted mod capacity. Instead, you want raw damage, fire rate, and elemental damage (a flex +element damage mod slot for whichever the boss is weak to). Weakpoint damage is also useful, but not as good since many/most of your shots will be body shots. That's how people are getting the tamer to 500k+ DPS.
@@gregariousjb it’s not actually you should use all the damage. Weak point and crit an all the rest. Add slots it can be done. My crit is 60 chance and 620k dps now. Crit is a must.
@@PatrickWolfChannel You're definitely not getting 60% crit with just mods and even rerollable stats. You're getting it from a Descendant skill, like maybe Enzo. Glad you got a killer Tamer, though.
If you look at the build, you'll see that it's pretty much the same as the others. There are no 500k here only because the mods are not fully upgraded.
