With roll canceling, it doesn’t actually cancel the full animation. It’s actually not a good idea to do it if your reload is under ~1.3 seconds because the roll animation is about 1.2 seconds. If you add in the time it takes for roll animation and factor in the time it takes to see the reload start (10-20% is already reloaded for the full reload animation). If your reload is between 1.7-2 seconds it’s optimal. Longer reload than that, if you roll too soon, you just continue the reload animation after the roll
but who has realod time under 1.3 sec?
You can just use grapple into air to cancel the reload animation. but different guns have different cancel point at which the reload timer can be cancelled.
FYI when doing outposts privately the timer is about your instance. Old in to private and timer is done. Fast travel to different map region and back again and timer is gone again too most of the time :)
OK i was wrong about this. after experimenting there is a guaranteed way. when you move to next area replenish ammo and it resets timer every time 100%

How can you do an outpost private ?
@@YaSloom top left of the screen when selecting a outpost from albion (you cant be in an instance obviously so go to albion) theres a button that says public just click on it and itll switch to a private instance
I recommend crafting the descendant Enzo before doing any Ultra Rare Encrypted Vault. He has a passuve of making them easier.
And since you lose the currency if you fail, it makes it all the more important
Oh yeah, ultra precize ones are piece of cake with him and I won 200k Kuipers on one and a legendary mod for Enzo. Also the Enzo buff is I think insane cause I m pretty sure it's additive crit chance, so for me 30% crit chance for 17 seconds. Pretty sure of this cause my tamer is only 10% crit but when I use the buff all I see is orange numbersflooding the screen.

Also when using Enzo, you, and anyone near you will get bonus materials from having an Enzo open the vault.

Not seeing anyone mention this but as far as reload cancel
1. Different guns have different timing to ehen you can reload cancel something like the thunder cage can ve canceled a little less then half way while the burst weapon (special ammo) requires more then half the bar to be filled to cancel
2. Instead of rolling you can flick your aim up and use grapple for a quicker animation
Please pin this or make an update because not every gun has a fast cancel and grapple is faster then rolling

The encrypted vault explanation is the best I’ve heard yet thank you so much. I have been looking for these things for so long.
Good tips for people for sure, especially on void intercepts i see so many people in public either dying in one or two hits or not using correct weapons and elements and so on. And weapons certainly play a role in this as well for taking out their weak points, for instance case of Dead Bride you can see she has those kind of arrow icon next to her weak point name, in this case that means assault rifles, beam rifles or launchers. So build out your kit with those in mind as well because you will be able to take out their weak points that much faster. Also atributes on your weapons help a ton, for void intercepts you should look to get Weak Points, Damage against Colosi and the element it is weak against, makes it so much easier, especially in later levels and in hard mode
do you have a list of what each different icon refers to?
Rolling also cancels some abilities animations. With Lepic you can actually get one more shot of with his 4 when roll cancel the casting animation.

1:49 you can actually do private ones multiple times before going back to public, just before you leave after doing the outpost in private, switch the world to public, then go back, then repeat the steps in the video, this "should" put you in a new world with no cooldown on it, thought after doing it 5+ times it seems there is a "Limit" and it puts you back in with one that may possible have just been done.

The shooting tip was something I did not know. You can also use your grappling hook as you approach the ground and you will hit the ground running with no falling animation. Thanks for the Video

The outpost thing you don't need to head back to albion just go to another part of the map do the one on that area and then go back Rince and repeat they reset once you've left that zone (in private)

Great vid mate very clear and conscise.
One tip I have re special operations, it’s worth just doing to level 7 to get the first set of rewards then load in to a new one.
The xp gain works out better for your time, there are bigger enemies but less of them as you progress through, so it’s actually a better ROI if you just do to 7.
In addition, levelling up your Descendant helps level up your overall Mastery Rank… same goes for weapons… so not only take in a low level descendant, take in those weapons with low xp that you wouldn’t normally use… you can level them up in there too and reap the rewards. (Have to actually use them tho, not just have equipped)
Wish I knew the outpost timer bypass earlier spent a lot of time waiting on it's cooldowns

Thanks for the preset tip. Never even realized. Juggling a bunch of characters and their reactors has been kind of annoying. I deleted my best Sharon reactor one time by accident
With the vaults I’d advise people not to use keys at all until they get Enzo. He isn’t hard to farm and is kinda mandatory. Sharon is too but less so because you can find random Sharon’s doing infiltrations

1:33 something to keep in mind every gun has different reload times and you have to read. Load them a certain amount before you can actually cancel the reload or you'll have to actually restart the animation. Some guns you have to reload 50% some guns you had to reload 25% And stuff like that before you can cancel the animation

There are also a total of 4 resistances on your components 1 per type (the four under your reactor). you can get quit a bit of resistance there too. I usually just have one resistance type on each at all times. each one has a specific resistance to it so keep the high ones.

My question would be how can you tell what elements for def/atk to put on your loadout for each of the zones. Right now without creating a document that has that all in it, I go into each zone and do an ecive scan. I assume that the 2 stats that are over their head are what they are weak to. No one, and certainly not the game has said anything that I can find as to what is what. I don't have that great a memory like most players, and I have to waste time going to a zone, scanning, going into my setups and adjust, each time I move into a zone. I would rather just have it set before I start so I don't waste time.
also another good tip for saving time on outpost mission is to look for an teleporter to another part of the area close by. Teleporting to an other area and then back to the original is also putting you in another lobby where the outpost should be available.
the first tip i found this out messing around but if you don't want to shoot you can literally just switch weapons right when your about to hit the ground
When you go to lvl 21 in defenses you have chance to win a fully crafted catalyst. So going in these missions well optimized is also a good idea, cause last waves past 12 are no jokes.
Would love some tips or suggestions for unlocking higher-requirement Descendants, beyond the basic "check the menu guide" suggested by other channels.

You just go into the details of the descendant you want, look at the acquisition info, then go to the allocated locations to farm the resources needed

What happens to the weapons / mods / whatever of the character that is off the presets while you are using a different preset? They stay on a "void", locked for dismantle, storage?
7:53 yes while that is great you can also use the Special operation at Sterile Land as its the one with the flags and that one is quick fast rounds that level you up quickly even more so if there's a bunny with a great build.
Also worth mentioning when doing outpost grinds, you can simply travel to another area, takes a bit less time than albion and if you're on private it will reset every time, no switching privacy and less travel time. Happy grinding!
By other area I mean the same battlefield just go to another region and back
For the falling part you can also wait for the last double jump or hook the floor.
Heyyy do we get to go. Out side. The gate. Or are we just stuck. In side. An area. Doing little missions. ,, all the time.
I have 3 presets whenever i switch from one to another there is always something missing for example guns which i have to put back on my character.
I got also sum tips for not wasting bullets if you fall. When you fall at the last moment, just jump. That way it seems like you just jump at regular height. Or use your grappler to the ground (for speed falling)
0:50 actually try jumping again right before you hit the ground as there's double jump and if you do this there's no falling animation. Hope that helps and have a great day to all gamers playing this game.
I have a question. I have a bunch of amorphous materials. Am I supposed to defeat the boss associated to it and open only 1 instead of all them after defeating them?
Mostly yes, some can be unlock from Void Fusion Reactor (need special material from Void Fragments). If you do Bunny quest you will do one on the desert as part of the quest.
You can Double jump to cancel fall animation to save ammo .

I tested the reload thing with a machine gun, and it didnt seem to work unless the reload was around 75% complete.
An alternative to the landing animation when falling, instead of shooting and wasting ammo as long as you didn't double jump before falling, you can just hit jump before you hit the ground and you will your jump animation, and land normal...

Early on, that's what I recommend. I think once you get into deep endgame, you'll want to fine-tune and handpick to match your build

For outpost set up a Sharen duration build and just fast travel from zone to zone on private. By the time you knock out 3 zones your timer is reset. You can continuously grind outpost in no time at all and get the bonus rewards.
what do i need to open the chests after beating the Colossus
The reload doesnt always work. For example with the Tamer
I was using a machine gun and ppl kept asking me why I was rolling around so much...I just said reload cancel. I thought a lot of ppl knew about that, but no. This is the first tips video I've seen with that included. 😂
It cancels your reload but doesn’t reload your gun…. At least on the tamer
One issue i have with the prest is if u increae a mod on one toon, it could put another toons preset over their limit. I was wondering about that when i first used presets, and sure enough, not 1 hour later, i got amessage saying the mod i upgraded would be removed from the other chataters set up. So just keep that in mind.
I keep 2 of each mod one I max out and one at base level just to use on low level characters.
You can also grapple the ground out of a fall to avoid the animation
as long as you are not using the mid air grapple, you should be using your grapple to reload cancel instead of rolling as it takes way way way less time
I do a melee cancel for my reload. Seems much faster then grapple.
At about level 25 I move to the Echo defense when leveling new descenders since it is a bit faster pace, but it starts at a higher difficulty then Kingston so don’t go right at level 1
0:45 You can also avoid the fall animation by double jumping when near the ground or by grappling the ground on your way down. I always grapple the ground out of habit since it negates fall damage in other games.
does anyone have some tips on how to beat the devourer? cuz ive been struggling for 2 days, i have bunny lvl 40, and i cant do anything with his healing generators
With the reload one I found out I have to be a quarter to half way done with the reload time before u can roll.
just a note on the presets the game does not keep your items and stuff out of your inventory if you are using different presets so make sure too lock your items for any given preset its a real pain in the ass....

I wish you put in the fact that everything is dismantled, while they do presets they should heart the items they have preset to not dismantle things other builds have, very overlooked, good video though
What are the large greenish boxes around the map that look like couches but then open up when you get near them and look like dentist chairs. One I saw was noted by a green circle on the mini map but it couldn't figure out how to interact with it.

another note for the encrypted vaults is tat some of the performance options in the graphics setting can effect the speed of the mini game, so check them if you find them particularly impossible.
I’ve noticed a lil delay/glitch in this game for me and button input delays. Causes me to miss shots when using scoped weps and launchers all that mixed with button input lag makes it impossible for vaults.
Bro I’ve run the Ruins Path mission about 8-10 times trying to get the Freyna catalyst to drop and still nothing. Idk what I’m doing wrong. It say 20% drop rate. wtf.

Everything in this game is new to me. Just started playing a few days ago. I'm overwhelmed by what to do.
I think I might be trying to do too much too fast.
the thing that bothers me is the preset doesn't save the gear, u need to actually have it in your inventory which is really annoying when moving stuff into storage or deciding what is ok to salvage
On the reload thing u can just hold trigger down and cancels it or grapple.
It cancels my reload when I roll while reloading
FYI,
You dont need to go back to albion to reset as that takes extra time.
Just teleport to a different quadrant on the same map then back and it will reset 9/10 times saving you a huge amount of time
outpost resetting is not consistent from my testing; sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't; sometimes it kinda works? overall private outpost farming *is* the way to go to, but resetting is *not* guarenteed

You don't need to switch between public and private for the outposts just leave the map and come back and since it's instance based it should be reset
On the void intercepts, its alot easier to them solo in a private game, the hp on enemies scales. I tried the bride MULTIPLE times in a group only to fail. Beat her first time solo by also following the module tips given here.
Just hold the fire button during the reload and it'll start shooting again about 2/3 of the way through the reload timer
for the landing animation i grapple the ground instead
The reload cancel animation doesn't work the same across weapons. If I rolled as early as you did on my Tamer I would cancel the reload.
Wait for the number to go back to its max mag count during the reload period
