Waw. I watched this week The Lord of Ring. When I was a teenager, I didn't know anything about music, I knew nothing about the trumpet. I came to study trumpet later. Although, I'm sure the execution isn't efficient with the professional quality sound recording and movie soundtrack (especially trumpet) on the score. And I went to research who was played, I would like to know what configuration was used (which trumpet, which mouthpiece, were used), especially for the song "The White Tree". I'm here, I found this youtube video. Thank you for your attention and for the work that still continues to inspire anyone who sees this film.
As a trumpet player this speaks to me on a spiritual level.
As ever, your brill video makes me want to go back and listen, again, to the music being discussed and hear it anew. I love these insights!
These real life tales are so special.
Great stories, thank you!

Such a great video
Howard is going to write him a letter next time stating why he wants another trumpet, assuming that the trumpet player will ask him again..d
Is it that ignorance is bliss or that a little knowledge is a dangerous thing?
Howard sounds like a tool.
