I used to go down to the North End of Boston for gelato… I wonder how it compares? The flavors were a lot stronger in gelato rather than ice cream… so it blew my mind. I will never get to try this.
It’s not as firm as gelato. I don’t think it is gelato. It’s a pretty piss poor excuse if they claim it is. I love gelato too, so this really did moderately suck.
It’s always so monumentally stupid when they don’t go all in on these items. WHY wouldn’t they just use the same damned syrup they do with the soda, hella sugar, it ain’t health food it shouldn’t taste like the lacroix of Baja blast ice cream lmfao

I really don’t get the logic the people who develop this stuff use. Are they all just a bunch of yes men in the focus group, maybe the developer has a sweet rack and they want to keep their chances? “Yeah it tastes great don’t change a thing, actually, make it WEAK and then people will crave what they’re not getting! Yeah” anyway, this happens will all these crossovers. Dumb.
Hey no problem! Let me be the Guinea pig for the modern consumer lol. Oh yeah, a lot of dumb ideas come from out of touch people who run marketing campaigns. Sometimes they get it right, but most of the time get it wrong. Especially all the rapper collabs McDonalds meals. I get it, they try to stay “hip and current” but it’s just repackaged menu items they already have. I don’t give a single hoot about what some trash music industry plant enjoys eating at McDonald’s. Innovate and bring some new stuff that’s actually good to the menu instead! And bro, when I worked at the radio station, the few token female broadcasters definitely got the sweeter gigs. And nope, it wasn’t because they were great at their jobs. All gotta say about that!
