I don't think you are too too late for those balloon flower seeds. These also come in a tall variety that reach at least three feet tall. I had 4 of the full plants of the tall variety, and I saved a billion seeds last November. Some I must have taken too early from the plant because when I opened them from their little envelope they were gray. The best seeds are the very black (somewhat shiny) seeds, just like the seeds you harvested. I'm just telling you all of this so I can let you know that I planted them in a tray of 72 seedling squares, and I was NOT careful with how many I placed in each square. I put them under the grow lights in my basement, and every single seed I planted came up within a week. Many of the squares had 10-15 plants a piece. I had to repot them when they had 2 sets of leaves, and I now have hundreds of the tall balloon flower plants. That may be ridiculously too many, but I do have large gardens and just hope to have nice borders from those that make it under the lights until May. I'll bet every one of your seeds become a plant! Thanks for sharing!
@@splendidgarden7b BTW, your video was nice and clear all the way through, and it was easy to see and hear all those wonderful seeds dropping onto the paper plate. My plants were in full sun (last summer) and bloomed from mid-June through to October. If you keep up with dead-heading, they just bloom and bloom!
