I’ll see what I can do :). We and our neighbors are working on a spilanthes throat lozenge but running into hardness/softness issues. We also sowed a lot of seeds this year so will see how they do. Thanks for the comments!
@@DjMrGrimM I wouldn’t recommend a tea from this. We put it into a tincture that is then used in things like lozenges for sore throat. Not sure you should ingest it like a tea.
Would LOVE to see an update on this video, and more videos like it 🙏

Awesome. Thank you, I really enjoyed your video.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Awesome As Always !
Thanks :)
What are the effects of the tea made from this plant?

Are they perennial do you know?
Depends on climate. I believe it’s a perennial in zones 10+ with heavy rainfall. Otherwise, annual.
Where can you purchase the Spilanthes seeds? Would love to grow my own.
@@cherrypowers5670 I’ve never purchased the seeds - just bought starter plants and saved my own.
@tablerockteacompany where can starter plants be purchased?
@@cherrypowers5670 #ourfriendlyallies has them or you can just google it
Can you only harvest the flower when it has the red eye or when it is fully yellow? Is there a difference in potency?
I can't answer that for certain, but my gut would say it's at its best when it just reaches peak development (red eye)
That's an excellent question. I chewed on a flower past its prime (brown), and it was still very potent.
Have you tried the tincture? Or made the salve yet?
@@butterflybumblebea1 - we made the tincture and it is very strong. We gave it to a friend who is working on a formula for a throat lozenge
