Imagine being a tribal and watching as thousands of metal boxes fall from the sky and then minutes later whilst you’re still confused create the brightest light you’ve ever seen in your life only to completely evaporate everything you’ve ever known. I love rimworld.
I heard of creativity in gaming but never thought someone could weaponize cargo pods like this let alone using Boom Rats as the "ignition" is brilliant. My lord man the power you exude
I haven't used boomrats to do this for a while, as training/housing them can be a pain, plus it just doesn't seem wise to entrust the success or failure of a really big explosion to a simple boomrat - They can be known for cowardice and disloyalty. Instead, I just drop a slave or two down with the pods and have them lob a grenade in literally any direction. That way, you've got more control over the outcome and it's always nice to send a slave or two to their deaths.
Totally split second decision on my part. Salty had some sort of mental break involving alcohol. So he had to die. I was surprised when he didn't die. He's long dead now though, don't even properly remember how lol. I think he burned to death in a chemfuel explosion, maybe.

Who would win? 1: 1000 warheads that are capable of destroying almost any matter instantly by just being on their blast radius 2: 10:14 a fucking wooden dining chair
If only enough boom could dig away at ground, turning stone to gravel, gravel to sand, sand into a a shallow hole, shallow holes into sizeable holes, sizeable holes into deep craters and deep craters in basically bottomless pits.
I so wish this was the case. I like it when blasts wipe out vegetation/debris and small hills, but once the grass grows back, you can scarcely tell just how scarred the land truly is.
Yes, exactly ten times better, and when I eventually detonate 1,000,000 antigrain warheads, it will be precisely 10,000 times better than the birth of jesus.
The sound of tribals being obliterated should be on all those white noise machines, definitely a soothing tone to hear angry technologically inadvanced plebs being converted into goo.
ok ok, so hear me out, i love explosions as much as the next amateur pyro/chemist, but i ALSO love other chemicals, How about using this superweapon with the Gas traps and shells mod? Toxic, Sleep, Fear, Rage, Tear, Corrosive gasses, even a slashy nanite cloud shell safe for home defense!
@@deathsplosion do let me know what ya think, i'm a fan of chemical weapons lol. and if you think it might make a good video i'm giddy with anticipation!
@@ivancybran Found the mod! Just bring in 5-4 transport pods filled with a boomalope, 240x HE and Incendiary warheads (120x each), and 1 pawn (with an explosive gun) to an enemy base and it would surely fall. Even though less powerful, it's cheap and does'nt take 4h IRL to load 1 antigrain warhead EACH.
They were literally the only objects untouched by the blasts. Probably because they had a limited amount of cover provided by the building they were in. Still, that couldn't save them from the fire!
What specs are you running at? I did this video before I upgraded my rig, so I was running an old Nvidia GT 1030, an I5 processor, a SSD and 8 GB of RAM. While the colony takes up a lot of space on the map, because everyone's quite bionic, I could keep the population of the colony fairly low so it's a bit less laggy because of that maybe?
Definitely at the cost of sanity. It took a LOT of hours to load/ aim every pod. I think next time I make one of these pod launcher videos, I might try doing a live stream of me just loading/aiming the pods, that way, there's proof that I did it. Plus, it might make the task just a little bit less of a grind.

I still can't figure out how it managed to survive. Maybe that particular spot was slightly less saturated with antigrain than anywhere else, and somehow the walls of the building managed to hold off the initial blast.
I'd prefer this to being in hiroshima, antigrains don't give radiation burns/poisoning. Plus, nukes tend to slow roast you to death at a certain distance, which sounds a bit worse than a bright flash and everything just being gone.
I hope you actually used god mode to build the rest of those pods and instantly rather than let the game run for days to get the same result. You had to have used it to get antigrain warheads anyway for sure
Nope! I didn't even know HOW to get into dev mode when I made this, lol! It's just a mixture of bionics and mods and time... waaay too much time.
