😂 Don’t sell yourself short Tony, your videos are great! Hope you are feeling better. Always appreciate you sharing!
Thank you man I appreciate it. 🙂
Thanks for toughing it out, and sharing so much with us, my brother! Extremely inspiring, and greatly appreciated! Get well soon young man! 💯💙🙏🏻😎👍🏻
You’re welcome brother. Taking the day off today to try and heal up. This stuff has hammered me! Thank you! 🙂
Thanks for the videos. They were my reference for making my first folder after over 20 years of making fixed blades. Because of your videos, I got lockup. First, try i say first try, but that's after 50 fit up, but at least I didn't have to start over. Thanks again.
That’s awesome man, that’s good to know. I appreciate you watching my friend
Tony, this format is great, just like we’re there in the shop with you. keep up the great content Sir.
Thank you! I’m glad this is working. I appreciate it! 🙂
Well its good to see that Murphy likes to visit other folks' shops also! HA! Seriously- bummer on the sickness- just hunker in and get well. As always- great chat and nice to see the progress- the little in/out stuff for the day to day may not be most fun- but its the reality of the process. Bravo as always- enjoy seeing you on this path- Go to Mastersmith and get this thing done Tony! Be safe, well- and as always- at peace.
Thank you my friend I appreciate the encouragement. I’m glad folks like this style vid, I enjoy making them too. 🙂
Get well Tony. Nice job.
Thanks! 🙂
Hope you feel better soon Tony ! … I really appreciate the demonstration on straightening the blade with the carbide hammer … Take care of yourself … I had pneumococcal pneumonia back January last year and got hospitalized for almost a week .. no fun ! .. Thanks again for sharing this video .. I’m in the hunt for a carbide hammer !
Man that’s horrible! Not fun being sick and never good in the hospital. Glad you’re ok now. I made this hammer but I think POPS sells them. I appreciate the kind words and thanks for watching!
@ thanks for the info on POPs … I just bought some jigged bone from there … I was thinking about making a hammer as well … a while back I bought 2 carbide 3/8 inch bearings to make a lathe tool with and only used one … I think I may try to press fit that extra bearing into a small ball peen .. thanks again Tony .. Get well soon !
@johnbarnwell400 no problem. Yeah the hammer is easy and cheaper to make. 🙂
Yeah man that storm got us here in coastal Georgia too! Unfortunately it was mostly ice for us, had about 4” that I could walk on top of (250lbs). Hopefully you’re feeling better by now. Your videos are great, don’t sell yourself short.
Yeah the ice is the worse! I hope you all are in good shape now. I hear that more is on the way. This chest cold put it on me but I’m doing much better now. I appreciate you watching my friend. 🙂
Man I got to get me one of them wood stoves! Nice tip on the lap plate, thanks!
It’s nice in the shop. 🙂
Hey Tony, little tip with that thermocouple, you can shorten them by removing it from the base, pull off a few covers and snip the wire. Put it all back together and it will be all good. I have done this with a couple of mine and they work just fine.
Yes I agree but on the old type that I was using, it wouldn’t work. I appreciate the tip brother! 🙂
@@TonySeverioKnives More than welcome, hop e you feel better. I am greatly impressed and inspired to make folders because of you. They just look so daunting
I’m feeling a lot better, almost there. Thanks. Yeah folders is fun, just be patient. Designing is time consuming but part of the process.
Love the videos! Keep on trucking!!!
Thank you! I appreciate you for watching!
Good morning friend, it's cold here too ! Hopefully it will warm up soon. I've used the pin in the drill chuck trick many times and recently had to make a bunch of screws with a very specific length, I used a similar approach as your pin lap. It works very well. Stay warm.
Thanks brother! If I can get over this cold I have, I’ll be good. I enjoy the cool just not this nasty bug I have. Now I’m not crazy about that 9 degree weather we had last week. 😂
@TonySeverioKnives I hope it moves on quickly. It's not good company for sure
@tonybryant5524 yes sir! 🙂
Tony, you take it easy with that bug!! Try some lemon tea with honey. It'll help your throat and your voice.
Thank you my friend. Doing much better. 🙂
Enjoying the vlogs mate 👍. Hope ur feeling better
Thank you sir! Doing a little better. Gonna try to work today. 🙂
Dang, way to shake it off when lightning strikes that many times! Folders are coming together nicely though.
I'm about to embark on building my first heat treat oven and wondered what wisdom you have on that count - things you consider most important or things you'd do differently if you built yours again?
Hope you get to feeling better, Tony!
Thanks! I would make it where I could take it apart to get to the coils more easily. Mine is a solid steel box so it’s difficult to change out the element. Watch my buddy over a red beard Ops and build it like that. That’s what I would do differently. Thanks for watching!
@@TonySeverioKnives Fantastic, thanks! His build is the one I've settled on following so that's good to hear!
