Being there to see the mountain move in person was quite a sight. The box blades were making a lap in less than a minute as well as leaving it smooth for the next pass not leaving much time to mess with a front loader. I was surprised myself at how much dirt they were able to move quickly. Shaving off a little bit at a time it was easier to tell where they needed to load the next time around. The dirt working well was a big thing in our favor too. Randall and I really enjoyed being able to be a part of the job and drank up a good bit of sweet tea. Tim and Christy, Congratulations on 200000!!!
Great project to watch. I couldn’t help but chuckle when you were talking about how you could have estimated the amount of soil moved..”But that would have required forward thinking”. That sounds like conversations I have with myself..all too frequently😂 Thanks and blessings to all.
I really think it looks great. That makes the property look better. Great work. Happy bunch of men.
Having your friends and family on this project makes it special and having your dad’s tractor and guidance along for the ride is great. With small tractors ,time and patience anything can get done. Great video and excellent camera work. The hard work is being done behind the camera. The tractor is just fun
We can buy/use all kinds of equipment but no amount of money can buy the experience. The time spent together doing a task like this ... Priceless!
200,000 SUBSCRIBERS!!!!!
🎉CONGRATS TIM AND CHRISTY!!!!!!!!🎉🎉
Fitting that this is your biggest project. Thanks for all the great content.
Last man working just proves value of cab tractor, more comfortable less tired and clean, no sweat or dirt.
Dig Drive Diy and his 318 pull scraper was missing from this event . He would have had fun. Looks good so far.
These 2 episodes were Great Tim! Nothing better than spending time with friends & family on a project! Especially one where you can really see the positive change you've accomplished!
Also, Fantastic job with the audio & being sure everyone could communicate with one another! That helps greatly in safety & being sure everyone is one the same page. It also makes the job go quicker when you don't have to stop the tractors & have a job briefing about any changes or suggestions!
Great Job on another Great Video Tim & Christy!! 👍😁
Hi Tim Just wanted to thank you for the info on Rim Guard. Pennsylvania will start inspecting Hay Rides, so one of the items is weight ratio of farm tractor to trailer. Our tractors need more weight, so because of watching your channel I new of Rim Guard. Found a dealer near us and contacted them, some things I found out was Rim Guard weighs 12 lbs per gallon, that is 4 lbs more than water or RV antifreeze. The dealer said he would also sell us Rim Guard by the gallon if we brought our own barrels to have filled, then we could fill our own tractors. We had the dealer fill 4 tires on 2 tractors with 400 gallons of Rim Guard, took about 4 hours. Knowing that it weighs 12 lbs per gallon seems like the way to get as much weight as you can in your tires. One rear tire on our tractors took 75 gallons, 900 lbs of weight. Thanks for all the info you provide and watching your channel made me the hero for having the knowledge.
My favorite videos are always those with your brother and nephew
Always a good time when Tom, Randall and friends/neighbors show up. Enjoyed watching this project. Thanks for sharing.
So fascinating to rewatch again!
Its nice to see a community coming together to help a friend.
You guys remind me of the Shriners in their "tin lizzys" at our local Labor Day parade. This has been a cool project to watch!
You guys did a really great job! Bunch of mustards seeds moving a mountain! It was fun to watch these videos!
Loved watching the dirt work! It’s great fun working with family and friends. Not often we get to see both Tim and Tom without hats…similar hair styles 😎…
The project turned out great, an awesome team effort with a wide variety of tractors and attachments!
Another fantastic video for the Marks and friends. This was a big project that came together so well. I can't wait to see the green color take over the new landscape. The rock bucket worked very well but I noticed that to shake the dirt out you must be up wind, or you will be wearing the dust.
What a lucky man Tim. You are truly loved.
It looks great and you were able to pull of a monumental task with teamwork. Nicely done and I’m sure this will give you some memories that last a long time 👍
Tim, it looks fantastic! Awesome job everyone! Take care and we’ll see y’all on the next one…
Tom raised Randall as a farmer. Randall is getting into harvest mindset. You work from CAN to CAN’T. It is longer for younger folks. Now in to my early 60’s, CAN is delayed by getting joints moving. And CAN’T comes when the energy gets zapped.
uhyh lookyvv hy t
That was a lot of fun!! How can it be better than a bunch of friends on tractors playing in the dirt!!!
You guys did a nice Job! Looks good from the camera..... speaking about the camera, christy did a great job as always too!:)
Angle the landscape rake and wind row the dirt and rocks, then shift through it with the rock bucket. May be a winning combination. I had the same problem trying to use the rake to remove rocks, it was removing a load of the soil also. All in all y’all did a good job and had fun doing it.
This was very entertaining....I enjoyed all the tractors working in harmony with each other.
Amazing amount of work in 2 days Tim with great results.
Sitting down here In Bradenton and watching your video Always makes me Smile .
Looked like you guys had a lot of fun! And it even looks good... Have get day!!
This was an enjoyable video to watch and listen to... great job!
Love all the John Deere tractors with family and friends.
Very nice video tim and kristie and now you can see what compact tractors can do in only 2 days 💪💪👌
What a massive project! Well done guys!
Love watching the mountian removal but watching those canopys flopping around... wow. I wouldnt be able to stand that on my tractor. Really like the rock bucket! Thanks for the awsome show of equipment!
Great episodes! Really looks sooooo much better 👌. That rock bucket looks like it would sure come in handy. Can't wait to see the driveway episodes as well. 🤠👍👍👍👍
⭐ Gold Star for Christy and those great drone aerial views
Hi to all family members and friends working on this project
Can am makes a defender with a 4.5x6 foot bed in a 4 and 6 wheeled model. That would work well with dumping with the tractors!
Good job and fun to watch the team work. Started out like chaos but soon became well organized once all got the routine sorted😁
Brother uses rock bucket alot and has tons of rocks. Much faster to sift and pile em up in different areas….then you can pick up and load quickly into a trailer or haul full buckets. They back drag dirt amazingly well also.
The easy way to take care of the mound was dig one small holes and stick flags in them like a putting green. 🤔
If I would have been your neighbor I would have been there for the entire job looks like a lot of fun
Congrats on 200000 subscribers! For the best tractor channel you should be at 2000000 by now. Fort Wayne says good morning.
Looks great guys. Certainly can see a huge difference. Nice work ya'll. Lets not forget Christy. Great aerial shots of the work.
Thank you Pastor David! (Christy)
That is one heck of a project!
Excellent video Tim and Christy very enjoyable to watch I think. 👍
That turned out great and with alot less time than I would have first guessed.
Congratulations on 200,000 Subscribers!! So proud!! Loved the video!!
Those were some impressive rocks Tom dug up with the rock bucket. I think Christy might want those for landscaping possibly. It was neat to see this from how it started to end of day two.
Well done! Congratulations on getting 200,000 subscribers. 😁👨🚒
Great video Tim I really enjoyed watching it and all your other videos.
Great work guys!👍🏻👍🏻
Looks good Tim
@6:19 that was my question! Lol, so 50-75 gallons diesel, 6 cheese burgers a few pitchers of beer and a bunch of thank yous. Looks like a long weekend of fun.
Looks like it was great fun. Doesn’t get much better than spending time with family and friends accomplishing something so big. Won’t be a time you go out your driveway and not think about the time all of you moved a mountain. Thanks for sharing with all of us out in You-Tube land!
Congratulations on 200K! 👍
You guys handled this next level!
Good morning & God bless you all
Box grader with a hydraulic top link is great for biting in to move soil and tipped back to drop from 0 to a couple of inches of soil nice and level.
Cool project for sure.
Looking good 👍
I been digging a small pond for a few years with my jd4200 and have tan out of places to put the dirt plus I have hit water and now need a small Excavator to get it about 4 foot deeper
Now you need a good rain to see how it drains! (Yeah, that rhymes)
Well done everyone!
Great video!
Way cool 😎 what a great job old boy.
Hi looks Great and like a lot of fun. I do have a minor suggestion. I would probably put an orfice in the cylinders on the pull type scrapers so they don't drop and raise so fast. Good job
While the verse at the end was pretty appropriate, a project like this just shouts "Many hands make light work." or maybe "Many wheels make light work" in this case.😁👍
Nice job done by the team, it is surprising what team working together can do and get done... need to find the back blade to make your waterway from the road towards the pond..... be careful...
Love the rock bucket! I need one!
Impressive. It took a little more time than it would with a dozer but you would've been out there doing fine finish work for just as long after a dozer. The smaller tools make for better finish work. Really fun watching the project.
Tim if I was your neighbor I would help you on any project just to run the tractors looks like this was a very fun project to do
You should test out different brands of lawn and garden trailers/wagons/carts. 👍🏻
Good job. 😊
This is great!
A good episode!!!
Looks fun
It would be neat to see a before and after 3D map of that area you worked. Thanks for sharing.
Nice work, guys and very fine video and audio capture!
I didn't realize, when commenting on your last video, that you're dealing with on/off valves. That does make it hard to "feather" the loading and unloading of the box blades.
That's looking really good! I am curious as to how the water will drain from the road across the newly graded area. Thanks for sharing!
I'm kinda surprised you did all that in two days, great job! Your next project could be to slope the banks of that pond for easier mowing.
ATV / compact tractor sized dump trailer would be a nice addition to your arsenal
Just WOW!
Tim, I purchased the Toro Workman for that purpose and load capacity. Traded off my gator
wish i could have made the trip up there to learn more about the 1025r tractor so when i got mine after the first the year i would be better off as it is i may have to get with you to meet and get some help from you then
I have always thought that a rock bucket landscape rake combo would work well for me here in upstate ny after seeing this I’m convinced it would work well after some practice
The first episode of the mound move made me think of this scripture in Isaiah.
I don't know if JD has it in a Gator, but Kubota has a bed that can be extended on their two row model. 🤔 Congrats 👏 on the 200K subscribers!
Might suggest using your Canamek laser receiver system on the box blade to do a grid contour map with the laser level. Could set the height of one of the receivers on its mount at what looks to be the highest location in the field with the box blade down on the surface. Then drive around and take readings at what appear to be low locations by judging or measuring the distance from the blade to the ground when the receiver is indicating green.
Maybe flag the high points with a colored flag and low points with another color?
What you need Tim to get a longer bed is a Can-Am defender pro I believe they have a 6' long bed
Rock farming!!
As always let’s get started
The solution to your dump bed issue would be a Kubota RTV X1140 or of course a small trailer
I sure wish I could have been a part of that would love to meet you guys and work with you a couple of days.
I live in South Central North Carolina but every time I watch one of your videos my heart's in Indiana.🚜
We certainly had a good time on this one.
Thanks for the kind words!
You started talking about truckloads and it dawned on me that you could have sold all that dirt and had someone else do all the work and made a bunch of money. You wouldn't have gotten to play around but, with all the construction North of Indy these days it could have been worth a shiny penny.
I think I would pull all the dirt to the front by the road and build a3 to 4 foot hump across the front , then plant some evergreens for more Privacy, in fact if money was no object I put an electric gate in. Just one man’s opinion. Lol
Good job guys! Only think I wish you put a before and after pic side by side to see the difference. Great channel. Love following you.
We've been eyeing these rock buckets for some time now. Just didn't want to bit the bullet and found out there 💩. Hope to see more videos about these buckets.
Not easy for us to demonstrate. We thought it worked quite well. For most of these rocks, the 3" size seemed to work best.
@@TractorTimewithTim im sure you'll find some kind of project to put it to the test one day.
Even a walk around video would be nice.
Tim, have you thought about asphalting or concreting the first 15-20 feet of your driveway. This would prevent holes and rocks from entering the roadway when vehicles leaves.
You need the landscape rake with gauge wheels it makes a night and day difference with trying to grade or just take out rocks. The wheels keep it from digging in to much.
You’re right about the gator bed, but what you can do is build a wooden insert for the gator bed that hangs out as far as you want. Or get a trailer for the gator to pull
Looks better.
