I have been going through, no job, no money, have 2 sons where the fathers arn't there. More personal stuff going on too. Last night my phone was stolen. I was very frustrated this last week. Today I feel like giving up. Yet, I have nowhere to turn but, Him. I really needed to hear this. I know I'm not the only one who suffers, it's just hard when we do. Especially, because I have kids. Thank you for this sermon I really needed it!
I'm so sorry for hearing that. I pray that for your sake, and the sake of your children, things will get better for you. I haven't gone through what you are going through so far, but I know suffering, and I know how crippling it can be. Truth is, as you've said it, our only refuge and hope is in Him. Stay strong :)
My God!!! This right HERE!!! This teaching went straight to my soul and brought me to tears in thankfulness to the Lord!! Exactly what has been in my heart, my mouth, my thoughts as I was in this most recent trial. But most "teachings" are so different (even in my church), as if suffering isn't for the Christian! This message is BEAUTIFUL in it's TRUTH! Thank you so much!!!!
I feel exactly the same sister! a few months having this clarity, i’ve been thinking “if Jesus being God had to come down to the worst part of history and suffer terribly why we feel like we don’t deserve suffering?” this is good stuff man. Bless you sister, hugs from 🇵🇷 (PR)
Sooo beautifully said. Like Job, his sufferings were a victory for God against Satan that testified to all in heaven of God's ability to win this thing. I'm not sure that the church really understands that this is the nature of our offensive warfare against the principalities and powers of darkness, that after each period of suffering, we become more and more like Him and take back more and more of the kingdom.
This is the true teaching of the word of God as it pertains to the ideas of the prosperity gospel. it's this type of teaching that demonstrates that the "Word Faith Prosperity Teaching' is heretical or heresy!
