- This goes down in the record books as the shortest video I've ever done because I came down with a cold on filming day, but the show must go on 💪🏻 Here I go through some of my smallest baby anthurium seedlings, all of which were grown from seed, and what I'm doing to grow them. I also fade super quick at the end of it as the aches and chills set in, but in spite all that I hope you enjoy this smidgeon of a short video ❤️

I bought myself seeds lately and its so so much fun🥹 they feel like your babys and the joy I get from these tiny leaves that all still look alike is funny😂❤️
Its also cool to be able to grow more stunning „rare“ anthurium that i wouldnt be able to affort in a bigger size and watch them grow up🥰
Its great to now be in a place with the hobby where I feel confident growing more expensive seeds and trusting my abilities. I have to say you and Charmaine have been a big part in that and I wanted to say thank you❤️❤️

Would you ever do a video on how you pollinate your anthuriums? Mine grew a pollen thing but I thought it was a flower and pulled it out lol
You collect the pollen from the inflorecens which would be a part of flower 😅 first you have the female stage where there is sap like liquid on the inflorecens and then when you dont pollanate it you get pollen. So you first need the pollen from one flower and then you can pollanate another flower (in female stage)
Yes I was planning on doing this with my last set of inflos but I missed my window to film it so I just went ahead and pollinated off camera 😭 I might do a video with the current one which is already pollinated but it might be useful as a visual!

I got a mix of fir and peat moss. Do you think if I add some perlite, then it would be a good mix for anthurium seedlings?

I ordered a Magnificum and got a baby plant that looked like a Forgetii-No Sinus at all as it matured , seller said it’s a Magnificum hybrid 🙄that would be ok if it resembled a Magnificum at all , these things just make it more confusing to identify.
I have since bought Magnificum seedlings and they have grown a lot tfs 🌱🦋🌱

That sounds like it’s gonna be such a fun plant! The round containers are actually disposable yogurt parfait cups I got from a coffee shop 😆

The more square ones are dessert cups from dollar tree, and I believe the round ones are actually repurposed cups from a local boba place. Hope this helps!
