I really enjoyed hearing you talk about your partner and your happiness with everything. My husband is so supportive with my plants and everything I do. I work a salary job but it’s at home and it has been so amazing because I have so much extra time to do what I want now that I don’t have a commute and everything else.
We made an agreement, my husband and I, that my plants wouldn't leave the library (not that I could because of our cats), and the big boys in the bedroom. I don't want to have a tent either, though. He also encourages my plant hoarding sometimes, lol, bc he has collections of his own things. But we're 50/50 on most things, I wish I could be a housewife, haha, but I like throwing my money at plants.
I totally get being in a slump and just needing to relax. It’s also important to remind yourself that not everything needs your 100% attention. Even if you make a video and you feel like you didn’t touch on everything you wanted to you can always make a part 2 or 3. Remember that your best looks different everyday. 🩷
Great video, beautiful plants. I'm waiting for my Dorayaki x Crystallinum silver baby to arrive. Can't wait. Looking forward to watching more of your content.
When I look at the new red Crystal X port, it very much reminds me of a besseae aff (colorwise) but with a crystalinum shape... all judging off of that newest leaf. But yeah, really awesome plant 🤩
Love this video! My favorite type of videos are relaxed chatty repots in your plant room, although I love all your uploads. Looking forward to random mid week videos! Hope you and your bf are feeling better. ❤❤
While there will be an exciting element to, moving to the UK will be hard to have to start your plant collection again. Thanks for answering where you get the pots from. I will be trying to find if they are available anywhere in Australia ☘
I’ve been teetering on the brink of deciding whether or not to jump down the dog food rabbit hole. Our dog has been so itchy and actually overweight. I’ve had a feeling it’s his food. You should do a video on dog food!
I have come to realize how much of an anthurium girl I am as well. Don't get me wrong I like dome other genus but the anthuriums definitely do it for me. 💚
I love watching your Anthurium collection and adding them to my wishlist...lol. I've been growing my collection of Anthurium but they're mostly all little guys still. 😅
Hmmmmm somebody is really in a mommy mood The whole video was about how much you love your plants and dogs. Is hanging out with Charmaine rubbing off on you. Great video. And I’m still glad I didn’t get a puppy 😅
Sorry I’m late to the party but can confirm the UK is really punishing immigrants and those of us with immigrant loved ones. The way they’ve more than doubled the earning threshold and raised all the prices… 😭 I’m so thankful my husband and I both have jobs so we do meet the new requirements but a lot of people won’t because the required income is significantly higher than the average income and my heart goes out to them all. Hope the process isn’t too hard for you! 💙
I forgot the salary threshold would affect you! Neither myself or my husband who are ecological consultants, myself with 2 relevant degrees and Sam with one relevant degree, I am at principal level and Sam is senior, would currently make this without overtime being considered. Don’t get me wrong we are not too far off but it’s an absolutely crazy amount and thousands above the national average salary. We have been in our profession for over 10 years and highly qualified so for anyone outside of London I can imagine it being very difficult 😢
I feel like this is going to be a super long reply so apologies in advance 😂: With Huxley we knew it was a yeast/candida issue especially because we could smell it on him so strongly. The vet put him on antibiotics which didn’t really help but in fact I think wreaked havoc on his digestive system. I kind of deduced that he had “leaky gut” syndrome as a result of all the antibiotics used to treat the hot spots and inflammation so we got him off all starches, including any starchy veg (carrots, potato, sweet potato, pumpkin, etc) and stuck with only raw meat/organ/bone and a small amount of cooked leafy greens as a vegetable supplement. I also used bovine colostrum as a supplement which is supposed to help boost the immune system, and added probiotics as a daily additive to his dinner, the idea being to starve the yeast (no starch) and boost the beneficial gut biome. The food we’ve been on for the past 5 years is from a place in Vancouver called True Carnivores which is ground whole prey so I never have to worry about making sure that they get enough organ/bone along with the muscle meat and the food they’re currently on also has added beef tripe which is good for digestion and probiotics but it stinks like all hell 😂 but I couldn’t be happier with how healthy all 3 dogs have been, especially considering our English bulldog is almost 11 years old now and trucking along! I hope at least some of that is helpful 🫶🏻 I’m sure I forgot some stuff but I’m happy to give you any more info based off my experience if you DM me on Instagram! I’m so sorry to hear your beagle is high allergic, it’s so heartbreaking to deal with an uncomfortable pup 🥺
Sorry to jump on but we have a beagle girl with allergies! She was fed an awful diet to start with and was very thin when we got her. Her tear staining was really striking and I suspected allergies. She also got really bad ear infections. She was placed on apoquel by the vets but we knew we didn’t want her on these all the time. After researching we found that chicken was one of the main culprits for allergies. We fed raw but removed the chicken and she soon cleared up. We have since had to move back to kibble but get a very high quality kibble and we just make sure there’s no chicken. Thankfully she’s been fine on both of these options.
how do you chop anthriums? I received 2 big rescue ones that I'm so tempted to chop, but I'm not sure how much I can cut and what medium to use for propagation
I don’t have a video dedicated to how to chop anthuriums but I do have one called “anthurium chop and chat” where I chop a bunch of anthuriums and chat about a bunch of random stuff at the same time
@@youdontevengrowhere thank you 🤗 can you cut a longer stem without roots and propagate it in water? or put moss around it, let the stem form some roots and then chop it?
I can't tell you how much I appreciate the fact that you are feeding your dogs raw food, it's what they should naturally be eating which is why super sensitive dogs usually do well on it ❤ full respect, I've been feeding raw for 15 years to my cats and dogs and I've never had healthier animals
Do you make your dog food yourself or do you use a service? One of my dogs has terrible allergies. Skin rash, ear wax overload, eye drainage. Daily steroids help, but if we could get off them that would be great. We don’t do monthly shots because he’s a very large dog, 115lbs. He does not like the vet so it is a traumatic experience for him that I don’t want to put him through every month.
Cheers to supportive partners and going the extra mile for those we love.
Hear, hear! 🥂

Yessss it does have a slight blue-purpley shift!
I am so much looking forward to your Anthurium collection video, 2 parts even better :)
But I fully understand how that is a daunting task

My lux decided to hibernate 😂😂

At this point now that Christmas is over I’m so ready for the spring growth too 😀

I washed my leca with baking soda and lime. Let it soak for at least an hour.
Y favorite Syngonium s are the Red Spot Tricolor, the pink splash, the Albo and a NOID ONE THAT i have. I also love the red leaf one…..

Thanks for sharing. Nice additions.👌
Our Olde English was the same way! With how hux was with food
So now we feed our 2yr frenchie Farmers Dog
Not me with a 10 x 8 tent and planting station taking up half the garage 😅
Hmmmmm somebody is really in a mommy mood The whole video was about how much you love your plants and dogs. Is hanging out with Charmaine rubbing off on you. Great video. And I’m still glad I didn’t get a puppy 😅
I was thinking she was having pregnancy brain and not feeling like doing the video. That’s what Charmaine was saying in the last video I watched.

I hear you mention “Amanda” in your videos sometimes, do you have a link to her ig?? Would love to check out her plants 🫶 love your videos!!
I wish I would have been smart enough to put my tags on a plastic tag instead of the pot. They stick really good and it's a pain to get off the pot

Does it take anthuriums a few time flowering before they will produce pollen ?
Me when I hear that Jose had that Carla potted in tree fern and pon 🥳 that’s what I’ve been using
I think this is Juan’s preferred substrate too!
Beautiful plants
I’m waiting for the Carla/dark anthurium craze to die down so I can get a really dark/black one for less than a car payment or two.😅
Oh I wish you would do a video of what exactly you feed your dogs. Our beagle is highly allergic to
I feel like this is going to be a super long reply so apologies in advance 😂:

Do you no longer do no drainage?
