I've ordered the "book unlearn your pain" because of you, Im a 32 year old with spastics diaplegia cerebral palsy and at 26 I got diagnosed at with Fibromyalgia, I had it hard enough lol and I do think you could be right. Because I've had a lot of stress and truma through my life. I know the brain is plastic and can change, I've seen this myself with even books to help quit smoking, I couldn't do it alone, but after reading what I thought was a crappy run of the mill self help book. It worked. I stayed vape free for 2 years. I also have nothing to lose, so why not. At worst its a good read.
I know my pain is real, but Im unsure if its forever and Im unsure where it originated. A lot of doctors say Its because of my CP but I disagree, my symptoms came all in one day. After being sick with sinusitus and a stressful work placement. I 'overloaded' and I guess I just don't know how to unload it. My nervous system though reacts to many stimuli I put it through and the pain can lessen. I want to believe its the brain and nervous system just struggling with a mental block, but its weird because modern science doesn't believe that and I have no evidence to point to only my own.
Im not religious, Im not supersitious, and I still think things like hypnotherapy are rubbish, but at the same time, the brain is a powerful tool that demands respect and attention and it does create wiring, connections and bonds, to the experiences it has. I can see a faulty wiring of pathways taking place in there. We never thought this up, we never asked for it, it just happened.
I'll post again once I've finished the book and it has arrived from Amazon. Wish there was an audio book version. All I want is to be healthy again with mild Cerebral Palsy and just bent legs. My god would I be so happy to just have Cerebral Palsy again :) ironic isn't it, funny but ironic. If only this worked for Cerebral Palsy also haha

Hi there :) Firstly, thank you so much for sharing your story, to be this honest and vulnerable is a beautiful thing. I genuinely believe your comment alone will help people gain a sense of hope.
Your story on how and when you first started experiencing symptoms is very similar to mine and other people I’ve spoken to about fibromyalgia.
From today, lets get rid of this mental block. It’s the first step to recovery and your brain follows your beliefs…so tell it something new today. “i can get better..I will get better!” Because just from reading your experience with rewiring your addiction to smoking and changing your habit, it looks like you have the discipline and will it takes to recover…
If you have any more questions, feel free to get back to me. Looking forward to hearing about your progress!

@@curingfibromyalgia Cheers I'll let you knowv how I got on, I think Fibromyalgia btw when you say 'misinformation' may not actually be solely what you think it is. I think Fibromyalgia as in this response or symptom could be a reaction to the body and mind undergoing a reaction to many different stimuli. One could be a mental block, one a viral infection, another an accident and or stress and burn out. It certainly seems to be the case. However, I have an open mind and am willing to frame it in the sense of "perhaps this is a mental block" because you need to try everything right? especially with this if you wish to get better, but I certainly do see growing evidence that what maybe a mental block to one person isn't effective to another and we do need to be mindful of that going forward. So perhaps your tripped up on, well this worked for me, so it'll work for everyone, which may not nessisairly be the case. The pain is created by the brain and sent to the rest of the body it is a misfiring of the brain, that I agree with, but some might be from stress, others from an accident which would then mean both started the same way, but recovery is different. Just food for thought. Your doing great things though. Love it.
For me though personally Im not sure how I got it so Im open to interpretation and trying anything to stop this damn pain and tiredness.
I think what you say is vaild, this way well help people, it likely does, but I doubt its a one solution for all kind of deal the brain is complex and can rewire and is plastic and can respond to anything in certain ways.
Lets face it though this probably the first time in human history were we are looking at the brain, and saying "theres something going on here we've not paid attention too before, it can process life itself wrong, it can deem a small issue, or anxiety or whiplash and go into this alteration and ruin peoples lives, but on a level where even the person of the brain doesn't even realise it, its like the opposite of a mental break down, its a non-mental overeaction, become real manifesting itself as real pain."
You have the mental break down which is well studied and understood and this new non-mental overreaction, which we are just now beginning to postulate, the brain can alter without the input of the person inside of it, and it takes the person to put it back.
How are you managing today also ? are you still free of the pain and fatigue entirely or is it much better than before but it can still be a thing? you don't seem to convey how you feel now in your videos or I didn't see that clearly for myself. Hope you are well. From the UK.

Hello, I suffered from fibromyalgia (chronic fatigue syndrome) a year ago. I thought it was normal at first. I continued to work hard until I put you through a lot, and at the present time I feel very tired and have pain in my entire body. I am lying in bed and I feel depressed and stressed, and I am having suicidal thoughts. I ask you to please help me. Tell me how you recovered from this chronic fatigue syndrome, because my situation is difficult and I cannot bear it. Thank you

The root issue is in the brain, as long as we don’t think this is the same as being “in our heads”..!
