    Hm, I have pain in my knees for almost 25 years, tried different therapies and diagnostics without diagnose or cure. Doctors said it's in my head, just psyche.... It feels like painful cramps under/behind patella. Could it be fibromyalgia? No doctor tested me for that, how do you test it anyway?

    It's amazing to me that people don't wake up in pain, or stay this exhausted all the time. They just don't have those issues and I am happy for them. I wouldn't want anyone to feel fibromyalgia symptoms, they can be a mild annoyance or a brutal, all out assault on every system of the body. I salute everyone walking through life with fibromyalgia or another autoimmune condition. Good observations, especially about the time and how important it is.❤

    • @curingfibromyalgia
      @curingfibromyalgia 17 днів тому

      Great question. You know you have collected a corrective experience when you are not afraid the sensations and you separate yourself from the outcome - you don’t try to get rid of the pain, you are simply observing and creating new neural pathways

I subscribed to your channel, but Somethings you post on your channel doesn’t match fibromyalgia. It would be so wonderful if you would post how to rewire what are the steps of retraining or rewiring your brain if I were myalgia, can’t be reversed in any way.

    Hey, I have a question. The way i feel pain and everything completely matches with fibro, but i have swollen fingers that look kinda similiar to arthritis, but i have been tested for it and they havend found anything. And also based off my pain i would say i have fibro not arthritis. Do you have any idea if fibro could be connected to swollen fingers.

    • @curingfibromyalgia
      @curingfibromyalgia Місяць тому

      Hi, hmm interesting - based on my experience and people I’ve talked to, swollen fingers doesn’t seem to be associated with Fibromyalgia. You could have fibromyalgia and then something else most likely is causing your swelling too. It might be worth getting second opinions from other doctors x

      Sorry I will watch the videos, I see focusing on life events is a large on in therapy. I missed the specific name for this, I have a therapist so I could tell him the name of this type of therapy and maybe he can do it or I find another one. My pain has been from my neck down shoulders to forearms so I cannot lift anything that is slightly heavy anymore. But my biggest issue now was anxiety. It’s like I woke up one day and just had bad anxiety and body pain out of nowhere. It was a shock to me for it to happen all at once. I had IBS like you also. The biggest shock was going online to places like Reddit and people saying it never goes away and would basically ostracize you for saying different. It really destroyed me at times to hear this but part of me always believes it’s possible to get rid of it. I did something and I can undo it if I learn like you said.

    • @curingfibromyalgia
      @curingfibromyalgia Місяць тому

      You’re brave for sharing this thank you. You’ll find that underneath pain is anxiety and underneath anxiety is fear. Once I recovered from pain I struggled with anxiety so I went back into therapy for that. So it is normal and okay :) Starting with reprocessing life events is a great place to start, I used a psychotherapist that specialised in using EMDR to process trauma 🙏 the rest will follow, one step at a time 💪

    I dont have the luxury of not working. I work with pain, fatigue, anxiety, and depression with my fibromyalgia. Somehow I nanage but everyday is hard. I honestly don't think I could ever recover until I am able to take time off. But I can't be homeless and starve. I tried for disability but was denied.
