What I like about is that your video is practical with lots of helpful tips for DYI and NO Pro bragging or living critical info out. Thank you and you saved me from DYI troubles.
Getting ready to do crown molding in my bathroom remodel tomorrow. Been dreading it, and even thought about getting corner blocks, but I think I'm going to go ahead and give it a shot after watching your videos on inside and outside corners. I think I can do this!
This is very cool I didn't know how to cut crowns like this for both cabinets and kitchen counters for sure this is pretty dope!! When you're measuring with a tape measure, how do you measure the length of a piece of wood even though you're making a miter cut with a 45° cut?? If you measure that wood on the angle of the wood, it's going to look off so would you measure the wood at the top then or should we just measure our length of our cuts on both the kitchen counters and cabinets (because like you said, those methods might be more accurate vs cutting on the top of the wood)?
@@TheDurbinCompound I got me a pair of the Rock Rooster AV 611 6" boots man!for a $125 bucks,I didn't even rush delivery and got them in 2 days,I live about 50 miles from the Kittery,Maine trading post ,they have a large variety of outdoor/indoor wear for working,hiking,etc....,these boots are as comfortable and nice as any 250 to 300 dollar boot in that place, Chippewas, Survivors, Wolverine etc...,thank you for your tips, and all you do for your fellow Dudes! You seem to be a good human! Not that many left,or maybe their hiding!Hey, Slow Down on those Chop Saw cuts!!!!!!!
Constructive criticism. You skip around and don't explain many steps or the reasoning behind it. You tilt your molding at an angle against the stop without saying why, for example.

I missed on setting up the saw. Is it a double bevel or a single bevel by swinging the cut left or right and not tilt the head.
my two pieces join at a 45 degree angle vs the typical 90 degree angle. Do I follow the same process on your video
Yes, but the angle would then be 22.5 degrees cut
Thank
I wish I would have not been so pig headed and watched this video before I ruined some very expensive crown molding .
It happens! I had to learn at some point too and I’ll admit I probably suck pretty bad compared to some finished carpenters.
Good boy
Don't forget the silicone grease!😀
