Fun fact: this is the only boss in the entire game to speak directly to Omori in the midst of a fight (similar to how Pluto expanded interacts with Kel, and Sweetheart does with Hero), and ironically, Humphrey is meant to parallel Omori and Headspace as a whole. Hero should have just made much food for him :(
Its like a fusion between jabu jabu and gigyas
Remember this is the same guy that said "I f*cking love air-conditioning"
Humphrey Dumphrey sat on a wall,
and then he ate you all
Dude I knew something was wrong when we had to go inside him
,,Hey, Omori. Is it getting stuffy in here?"
*NNNNNOPE-*
I DIDN'T HEAR THAT-
Fun fact: this is the only boss in the entire game to speak directly to Omori in the midst of a fight (similar to how Pluto expanded interacts with Kel, and Sweetheart does with Hero), and ironically, Humphrey is meant to parallel Omori and Headspace as a whole. So it's fitting he mocked for it getting "stuffy", since he likely knew Headspace was slowly being warped by Black Space, and about to be left in ruins.
@@DLxxx I-
*I mean you're not wrong-*
I FORGOT HOW CREEY THIS GAME IS
I remember while fighting him i was like: damn now imagine how the final boss will be."
How naive i was. He litterly was the last big boss.
btw i died 1 time to him and i'm proud that i never bought food in this entire game.
"Oh no im losing, me am vore you now"
This fight is such a pain
Something i find neat about stage 1 of this boss fight is that it looks like the microvilli that line the intestines.
"Neat". That's a curious adjective to use to describe such an observation.
This battle stressed me out sm I was on the verge of throwing my switch out the window
Rest in peace hero. You will be missed (Humphrey fucking targeted him)
Furious Omori with a knife, Humphrey probably didn't wanted to swallow that..... 😁😁
While Humphrey is one of the most disturbing bosses I've seen in a while, his battle theme sure is groovy.
i beat him first try but space ex boyfriend was SOO hard for me probably because of the level things
humphrey smiling when he gets hit 💀
it was the 3rd phase that kept on killing me. it took me a while to relise how to do it too and soon enough i relised i just need to keep omori and hero alive for healing pff
This fight is harder than Sweethearth
The theme of the cutscene before the humprey fight is Thalassophobia's theme sped up, nice reminder that the fight takes place underwater
I fucking love air conditioning
Dude being eaten alive is one of my greatest fears, and this fight, gonna sound kinda dumb almost made me stop playing
when i learnt a last part of humphrey needed to be fought after the swallowing stage and before i could regain hp, i was terrified since i had omori at half hp and everyone else toast by the end of the other fight. you can imagine the relief when it was a one hit
I fucking love this boss
I fucking love rhubarb
that’s fine, you can like what you want to like
I despise this fight, im on the verge of deleting omori
@@u-foreever7819 That’s fine, you can hate what you want to hate, just don’t delete Omori
@@fishiplayz70 im not, it just makes me really frustrated
Everyone: talking about how disturbing Humphrey is
Me: *took 3 hrs fighting him just to lose and restart all over again*
surprisingly, it took me less tries to beat this than when I fought sweetheart
I think of Humphrey as of capitalism. Feed the world with your money. If you can't do it, feed the world with you yourself
At 1:33 the background music is thalassophobia but a little sped up
I died to him like 8 times and everyone was lvl 30 so I went back and I grinded to lvl 40 and by god that fight STILL sucked
surprisingly I won at 27 lvl with literally no other food than a few tofus.
Actually, Humphrey's theme is kinda chill.
Edit 1: Hmm, i wonder what will happen when I defeat Humphrey Grande
Edit 2: AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
Edit 3: Ew, why am I fighting a tongue?
Edit 4: Is...is my suffering over?
Edit 5: WHY THE FUCK DID BASIL DIE
The herb died-
@@kimgacha8978 it's referencing black space
@@vixar2580 ohhh it's normal that he dies in there :)
