    This brings back memories of fishing off the Weston shore with my uncle. Back in the mid-60s I cut my sea angling teeth dinghy fishing on Southampton Water and off Saltcoats, Ayrshire on the boat. Happy days and another two generations now following my path to contentment.

    Nice one bud, I'm gonna have to get down from the murky depths of Bristol...Gosport is my home town.
    Used to fish for flounders off Weevil lane bridge, about 27 years ago I last went there....waaaayyyy before they rebuilt it.
    Also used to carry on round to rat island to. Love to fish there again sometime. 🤘🏻🤘🏻

      +John Collins best place to park is hoeford pub, then walk at low water to mark, building behind is gated twice no access thro it

    hey king, how do you get behind cpg. been down there but couldnt see a way thru?

    • @KingFisherTV
      @KingFisherTV  8 років тому

      +Michael West Sorry only just see this, been busy with new film ,
      ok its only good to get too at low ish , water!
      big springs high tides few hours either side, are still to deep to wade across, you can fish on it over high ,but stranded there over high tide time, so take plenty drinks & food incase get stuck
      have a look on maps, your going to need wellies or waders too,
      Directions start here -
      --look at the hoeford pub if you park in there, and with your back to the road and facing the pub turn look right and walk 30 metres, if that!
      just out the carpark basically --- look for the fence that surrounds pub garden ,other side of that is a pathway into bushes ,keep along the path 100yards or so , not far will come to a fence on your left filled with buses and small launching slipway to the creek on your right, on a big gully, looks like a river but its not few rocks and things around so mind your step,
      cross to the other side, stick close to shoreline and trees walk to the end should see it now? and walk right up to end few stones you can follow down, to fareham creek main gully and fish.
      if fishing that mark over low water, and into the small gully my advice is pick a small neap tide to fish ,its better to return the 1000s of small bass around with more water the mud becomes softer on big springs.when less water about, hope this helps, hard not being able to point just there, that gap there
      CPG is all locked up mate need to walk around, and cross over the gully, its not a far walk, nice one Michael hope you get a few decent fish out call me Shaun and like to know what you get out and how get on there, tight lines take care
