Thank you Joe for all of the hard years in Cleveland. I’m sorry you never got to play in the playoffs and you deserved more than that. You deserved a Super Bowl! You were the definition of and iron man on and off the field! You’re a legend in Cleveland and will be forever loved!!!
Cowboys fan here, but you recognize greatness when you see it!! Being a fellow offensive lineman when I played, Joe Thomas was one of my hero's growing up. The way he played the game was truly incredible. No doubt in my mind the greatest offensive lineman of all time.
Not only is he in the NFL HOF, he should be in the HOF for good people. It was an honor to have you in Cleveland. May God bless your family and you. Thku
Obviously a super tough guy but I don't see how 10 years worth of snaps can possibly a record when the Vikings Mick Tinglehoff started and played every snap of his 240 game career not to mention every snap of his college and high school careers. In fact, allegedly never missed even a single practice session of his entire football life. Not to mention Jim Marshall's 270 consecutive starts that was apparently stiffed and shoved under the rug by the HOF voting again this year.
Considering that Thomas was consistently good despite playing for a team that is average at best or outright awful at worst, I doubt anyone would question his credentials. Plus, anyone who says how much better Thomas would have been if he was on a team like the Steelers or Patriots, the man willingly chose to stay loyal to the Browns. That quality is something I can respect, giving up individual success for the team, even if the team itself constantly disappointed him over and over again. He could have left, but he chose not to. If someone is happy where he is, the least you can do is respect his decision, even if you do not like it. Congrats to Joe Thomas on his enshrinement in the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
Thank you Joe Thomas for how much you work very hard for Cleveland Browns also you are deserve to be Hall Of Fame class of 2023 and you are the best Offensive Lineman player in NFL
Haha the definition of Mediocre or failure, getting praised like it's amazing. This dude went 3-20 against the Steelers. Every year his team was horrible, but they won a single playoff game! That's his achievement in over a decade, winning a single playoff game and going 3-20 against the division rival that's the toughest
Thank you Joe... obviously one of the best browns ever!!!!... you are awesome... personally my favorite player ever is frank minnifield... but I love you too ❤😂❤❤❤❤
He gets in over Jim Marshall..who had never missed a game started all 270 he had 130 sacks and was a huge factor Vikings had 4 Super Bowl appearances..and now Marshall will never get in his time has passed..such bs
Hate comments like these the guy is obviously deserving of the Hof and yet you feel the need to compare him to a guy on the complete opposite side of the field and from a completely different era😂
Jim Marshall- 20 years with only 4 years double digit sacks(14 being his highest wheras his teammate, Carl Eller had 15 that same year)- on average 6.5 sacks a year. Never lead the league in sacks. Only 2 pro bowls, Never made 1st team all pro-NFL. 282 consecutive games played is a great number; but he didnt play every defensive snap in all those games, it doesnt compare to Joe Thomas's 10,363 consecutive snaps.
Oh look, an ignorant man who knows nothing about the history of football. Browns franchise has the 3rd most championships won. Most players in the Hall of fame - 9th. If youre gonna use the word franchise; you cant just use the past 10-20 years. A franchise starts from the beginning. Please educate yourself
Lmfao what highlights??? Never had a winning season minus Derek anderson Joe Thomas rookie year. Lost all games one season. He never played in meaningful games ever. If he was so great why didn’t the browns win more??? It’s unreal the love for a guy who just showed up. Wasn’t a leader and never made his browns teams better. Ever.
I wish he was on the 2020 Cleveland browns. He deserved that playoff win more than anyone else.

One of the best tackles in NFL history one of the last
We fans and Joe Thomas deserve more from the Cleveland Browns organization… it’s really just ridiculous how incompetent a organization can truly be.
Over 10k straight snaps what's that over 10 years without missing a game haha crazy.
A Wisconsin legend ♥️
Most fans don't appreciate the linemen as they should, but watching you play was a blessing, sir.
The only man to go one on one with a prime JJ Watt and win. JJ was quiet that day. And he had 20 sacks that year. You deserve it Joe
Wisconsin vs Wisconsin

The browns as an organization failed joe thomas

Congrats to Joe Thomas on his enshrinement in the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
Going to a better team would’ve been giving up individual success not staying on a sucky one.
Man the browns wasted him
How is this guy in the hall of fame over guys like lomas brown and Erick Williams who won superbowls and actually blocked for hall of fame backs?
He never played more than 16 games in a season think about that.
The best player on some of the worst teams in NFL history.
Well deserved
joe went to my hs and he came to are hoco game this year
literally the greatest left tackle to ever play the game
He was so good that his teams went 3-20 against the Steelers
Over guys like lomas brown and Erick Williams who actually blocked for hall of fame backs?
Ironman Joe Thomas
Thank you Joe Thomas for how much you work very hard for Cleveland Browns also you are deserve to be Hall Of Fame class of 2023 and you are the best Offensive Lineman player in NFL
Guuuunnnnnnneeeee
As a Steelers fan, he was definitely my favorite player on that browns team
The Browns should be ashamed they didn't trade him.
He didn't want to be traded.
They were gonna let him go to Denver when manning won there. Joe wanted to stay.
Hall of fame cereal? If Nick can have his own cereal why can’t Joe? Lol
Congratulations Taryn Manning is the Cleveland Browns Movie.
dude was on a sucky team his entire career......and yet carved out a Hof run.
Thats saying something
As an OL at that too
Welcome to the Ravens Joe!!! 🖤💙🖤💙🐦
10,000 straight snaps. Damn iron man😐

LET'S GO JOE..☝️
I miss watching Joe play.
You’re all Wisconsin my man I wish you would’ve played in Green Bay on Wisconsin
Even a Steelers fan recognizes a goat.
Thank you Joe... obviously one of the best browns ever!!!!... you are awesome... personally my favorite player ever is frank minnifield... but I love you too ❤😂❤❤❤❤

You mean the dude who ran the ball the wrong way for a safety?
Hate comments like these the guy is obviously deserving of the Hof and yet you feel the need to compare him to a guy on the complete opposite side of the field and from a completely different era😂

You have average players, good players, great players and then HOF players.
I love thomas but i dont think hes HOF. He's great tho.
What's so incredible? He wasted his talent on the worst franchise in the NFL.

🤡
He's one guy, did his most week in week, week out.
L take, very L take.
He was basically a brick wall. He did not allow sacks. At all!!
He's in over guys who actually blocked for hall of fame backs and won superbowls. (Lomas brown,Erick Williams)
I loved watching this guy. So much grit and toughness. Just wish my browns got him that championship. Damn.
