A Timex ad disguised as an NFL film lol
⏲ hahahaha
True. But I still enjoyed it. Perhaps because in the 1990's I had a Timex Ironman strapped to my wrist while serving as a U.S. Marine.
Casio over timex.
Especially as this is a category where Casio makes a better watch.
I'm not going to lie, the timex CEO had some really nice things to say. I'm pretty sure he truly believes in the product and what it stands for.
Mike is funny for no reason lmao
Watched this twice. I like watches myself, and I really enjoy seeing people wearing watches other than smartwatches. Mad props to NFL Films - y'all can tell a story, for real.
Same. But damn if this didn't feel like a long Timex commercial! Ha!
Josh McDaniel about to check the time on when he’s getting his check from the Raiders… 😂
It's a Damm shame that he gets paid
“Raiders head coach” 😂😂😂
McDaniel has no idea what time it is with or without a watch on. He hoodwinked Mark Davis out of 60 million though
He just proved that the "let's get it" mentality doesn't always work, unless you're talking about basically stealing money pretending to be a Head coach
Man I was hoping this would actually be about interesting watches that coaches have…
Same. I got duped into a Timex ad…but Jocko stuff is always interesting.
Same. McDaniel has that Brietling but that's spottable every time they show him on the sidelines.
McDaniels: “I don’t want to wear a super expensive one when I’m just doing football things.”
Plenty of time to enjoy a Rolex now pal. (Especially with that guaranteed Mark Davis money.)
I don’t even know what he was referring to all he ever does on the side line is stand there with a confused look on his face.
Mark Davis has destroyed that team. He's paying two coaches right now, and neither one is coaching the team. They settled with Gruden and now they have to pay McDabiels. Should have either kept JDR or stood by Gruden, or at least Bisaccia.
😂😂😂😂
NGL this feels like an ad for Timex.
It really just is. It’s sad how far NFL Films has sunk in quality and integrity.
I’m just gonna get G-Shock instead of Timex if I need all around cheap reliable watch.
It kinda is but timex is an ideal sport watch. It’s cheap, durable, lightweight and has the stop watch feature and all that. Gotta say this turned out to be a great ad tho. Love the Jocko touch too.
Spoiler alert .. timex is the official license watches by the nfl .. coincidence.. I think not
default on his mortage?? mike nooooo lmao
I respect Mike McDaniel but he’s past on him drinking is catching up to his present day speech. Plus he’s someone that would make his own watches too.
@@kylehamadyk738give me a break. He slurred his speech, yet developed a high powered innovative disruptive offensive system.
Ok.
By the way, I teach medicine
@@KC-bv9kf people will only remember him as the coach who played tua, he wont be at hc long
@@obiohaz6023you will lol
Jocko talking about the battle of Ramadi in this video is insane hahaha
brutal video - this was a Timex / Jocko ad. Didn't show any of the other nicer watches worn by other NFL head coaches.
How many celebrity-centric videos exist highlighting rare Rolexes, AP, Patek, etc.? Those videos already exist. How many times do you need to see a rich dude wearing a sub?
Being a watchmaker makes me happy to see this even tho my team sucks (gb)
My two favourite passions - watches and NFL!
You do realize you carry a cellphone that will tell you the time right? There is no bigger waste of money than a watch in 2023
It's become an accessory mostly now. I think that's totally fine and fair if someone wants to wear one.
@@jackmakackov7077Looks like we don’t need TVs, as phones have screens too! Waste of money
@@emphasis20 It goes deeper than that...
@@jackmakackov7077 Can't tell what time it is on my phone without pulling it out of my pocket. Which depending on what I am doing at the time, may not be convenient. Watches will always have a useful place.
Watch guy and football guy, Timex is class!
Didn’t see much Coach love for watches, but a great ad for Timex and SEAL guy was kinda cool
These are the kinds of pieces I love to see from NFL Films. These small consistencies you see throughout this group of accomplished individuals that have significants but we wouldn’t think twice about just watching the game on Sundays. Absolutely loved this
This one could be an hour or two long and I would love it... NFL films! Make it happen
This is a Timex ad smh
So lol
I love how practical many of them are. You want something to tell you the time and possibly the date as well. Doesn't have to be worth thousands of dollars
We all know CASIO IS DIGITAL WATCH KINGS 😅
My rose gold and black band Edifice watch is my go-to for everyday use. Did my whole Navy career with that watch. Still Ticking 😎
The timing is slightly off regarding Head Coach Josh McDaniels…
Nice Timex ad NFL!
Ron Rivera rocks the white smurf submariner and bluesey
I’m a huge watch fan and yes I have a TIMEX IRONMAN and it is the essential stripped down no frills timepiece to end them all. I love it, even though I rarely wear it. It nevertheless is SICK!
2:48 is when you realize this is a Timex ad lol
Seems like an ad for timex
Ngl this was the best ad ever I lowkey wanna buy one now😂
From what this video conveys, MLB managers have a much cleaner watch game. Dave Roberts' IWC is a clutch piece
It's nice to see Jacko make a point and more people take accountability.
Idk what point he was making , that timex watches is supposed to be manly ??
No...
I bought Seiko Arnie watch snj025 - $580
I love it. And my networth is less than 500k
Casio watches are pretty reliable as well.
I’ve found them more accurate than timex, too
I love G-Shocks, and they also have sporty and refined combinations like the Oceanus.
A few coaches with a rolex submariner on, also casio gshock dw5600 is another classic.
Who that Josh McDaniels guy?
Great idea and not what I was expecting - little bling and drip 😂
McDaniels looks good in his Timex. It fits him in every way imaginable. Especially his personality.
Thank you NFL films for collaborating with Timex on this video. I appreciate your clickbait Masterclass.
I'm a Casio guy myself. Anyone else?
I wear a Timex Ironman.
I tend to lean more towards vintage Bulovas. I’ve always liked their look. It’s classic and timeless without be ostentatious.
2:05 gotta edit that NFL.
What happened?
@@sanicspooderman3201 the raiders fired a great head coach and now are going to suck without him. he's a 3 time champ and they will never win anything again as a franchise in vegas.
josh is on his burner again@@FlintNGlocc
@@sanicspooderman3201 he got fired 🤣
@@FlintNGlocc a great HC? 😂😂😂😂😂
This is basically an ad for Timex. LMAO
"Josh McDaniels - Raiders Head Coach" --- well that aged like milk...
Mcdaniels lmaoooooo
Coach Mike with the iced out watch 😂
I don't really care for gold or diamonds, but that watch (Breitling Navitimer I think) is a pretty cool watch in normal form (steel) with some history behind it.
@@emphasis20 Mike's watch is also a limited edition piece, which is pretty damn cool on it's own. I have a Navitimer, and it's one of my faves. I wouldn't trade it for Mike's! Ha!
Can't wait for Nico to get ahold of this video!
I was gonna comment the same thing!
He'd probably agree with everything said. I think he put Timex in his "would buy" tier in the most recent video.
Arthur Smith seems like a big watch guy, he’s been rocking a Daytona this season, not mentioning him was odd.
Thought it was a sub on a rubber bracelet.
Too bad Josh's watch couldn't tell him that his time was up.
Remove ‘Raiders head coach’ from McDaniels immediately. We don’t need reminders.
Got a Breitling Navitimer too!
Way to go, keep gettin after it! I'm sure this was a goal of yours. In HS, after working for a few months I bought a stainless steel fossil watch for $80 and felt like a king haha.
@@gurkdoinwork Hey man it was a goal for 5 years. I cant tell you how much it meant to me when I could finally buy it. Dont ever stop believing in your goals man. GO get em!
@@TheCameltotem love that! Congrats. Sounds like you're actually a watch guy. I learned I'd rather look at my phone for the time and keep my wrist free :'D. Do you have any new targets on your watch wish list?
@@gurkdoinwork Yeah for sure enjoy watches. I'm looking at a classic white dial datejust but thats probably a long shot right now, any watches you prefer?
@@TheCameltotem that looks clean n classy. meh not really haha. I've tried a few different styles. don't care about the time keeping or mechanics. purely see them as aesthetic. which makes the price tags for nice watches unjustifiable personally.
The Ironman 30 was my running watch before smart watches. I didn't realize it was still so popular, but it's a simple design that works well. Personally I prefer it to G-Shocks, which I feel are too chunky and not as nice to use.
When I trained for marathons, I never wore a watch. I’d be looking down every 30 seconds. To me it’s more of a distraction than an aid. However I do wear a watch everyday.
As much as I want him to get fired from my team. I have to admit Rivera has a great collection. From Rolex to Panerai to Patek his collection is nice.
Watch guys are always so humble about being watch guys lol
I think it's because we know it's super indulgent ultimately.
@@tricky92x I can definitely see that!
I guess they didn’t want to show Odell Beckham Jr. wearing the 300k Richard Mille watch during a football game!
what an AWESOME AD for TIMEX
Love the Casio 7900 of Sean McDermott
it really does make sense for a football coach to be obsessed with time in a very time-centered sport
This aged well for Josh
Ron Rivera rocks a Rolex Submariner Bluesy, best NFL head coach watch in the league lol
I'm a big watch guy. When I played football in high school, I took it off. I always wore wristbands or kept my left glove on through the game. Now I always have one on every day. Other than football, since I was a kid I loved watches and wearing them.
I don't care what anybody says, Timex watches are great time pieces for short money.
Why does it say Josh mcdaniels is the head coach of the raiders??
Casio punchin the air rn
McDaniels was the only true watch guy. A watch guy refinances the house for a watch. Not all these jocko wannabes. And why was he half the film goddamn
Because Timex partners with the NFL. This is an ad.
Good story about two of my favorite things to watch on UA-cam- watches and football coaching
A lot of these coaches have What I call a digital time piece! the brightling now that's a watch!!
"Breitling" - but yes. I'm super glad Mike is wearing one to. Folks obsess over Rollies when there's so many other high end watches that exude class.
Next up, NFL coaches and their favourite toilet paper
Didn't expect Jocko to make an appearance here. Check.
If I were a hc I’m rollin in with a Daytona 😂
Soooo basically just Mike McDaniel
Breitling is my favourite!
This was outstanding.
Breitling..great choice!
I would’ve thought G-Shocks was gone be the watch of the league
probably cause Timex is an American company and Casio is Japanese.
@@cruman87 ✅ You learn something new everyday appreciate that
@@cruman87apparently no one told them Timex is no longer American.
Lmao
@@KC-bv9kf Yes no longer built in America but still an American company
Imagine buying Timex's...
FIVE AT A TIME 😂
Zac Taylor is a menace...TIMEstamp below btw 😉
2:29
Real ones wear the Casio G-Shock. The Timex ones are fine, but the print on the face rubs off in less than a year.
Go tell that to Jocko. I have an a Timex shock and a few G shocks. Timex has been put through its paces and the print is still fine.
Breitling… 😂
McDaniel, Jerry Seinfeld, and that one dude from House of Cards... That's about it.
More of an Timex ad than a NFL films one
Why was the Timex ceo's watch blacked out? Strange
I spend half my time watch spotting during NFL games.
Timex ad?
Jacko's a beast. Guy is wise beyond his years and super inspiring.
If by inspiring you mean cringe then yeah you know how many normal people wake up before 4:30 lol GOOD
The fact that they wear a proper watch is all i care about, but i do like brands outside of Timex and Casio. Dont be afraid to branch out.
Hysterical!
As someone who likes watches, this was incredibly lame
Raiders head coach is a typo pls fix
Jacko lost his mind 😂
Thinking if you get up earlier you’ll have more advantage than someone els 😂
Bruh the people that think that are cray
Some coaches should have the game and play clock instead 😂
I’ve been waiting for this video
Nobody does it better than The Shield 🛡️!
Honestly disappointed by this as a "watch guy". It's not like I have crazy expensive watches, but this is very much a paid Timex piece. And while I like Timex fine enough (I have several) at the end it comes off lame. Speaking of which, Timex I have some older pieces that I'd love your help with. 60-80's stuff.
"NFL Coaches and Their Love for Jocko Willink"
Thanks for the commercial
Nice timex commercial. Implying they are watch guys is a misnomer here…using a basic watch simply to tell time doesn’t make you a watch guy. These coaches should at least use Casio g shocks.
Rumor has it, Timex contacted Josh McDaniels and demanded he stop wearing their watches.
this is EPIC
Well I just got pulled into sitting through a 15 second ad to watch a nearly 8 minute ad for a wrist watch.
2:10 seems there’s some misinformation
What happened?
I love the watch ⌚ on my phone
Joko baby
Don’t know about watch guys…? Certainly an advertising coup for timex !
Can someone tell Zach Taylor that he can put those things around his wrist? Sounds like he is using them wrong :P
