We have maintained a predilection not to resole our plaguing issues but to seek aid from others like, in past, the US, the UK and KSA, and now China.

Being from Central Punjab i will agree that inside Punjab and Pakistan poor areas should get more amount from Federal government, & Provincial R&D should get more and active millitary strength should be decrease and Defence R&D should be focus and police advancement and Political stability for further stability and development in my opinion.

Accepting defeat is always a sign of courageous warrior. When India lose in 1962 they accept it and now see China is moving back now. Pakistan propagates a blunt lie for political reasons and see their country

Dr. Rizvi is eloquent, logical and intelligent. The other gentlemen unfortunately dampened an excellent discourse.
Most intellectuals know that there are too many sacred cows that are either willing or naively contributing to economic stagnation, inequivality and alienation of citizens. Zamidars, industrialists, politicians, and establishment more than others are playing a game of chicken with the nation expecting the other to offer up their spoils and space first, and in the process marginalizing intellect and promoting partisanship.
We collaborated with a foreign power to aid in conducting several thousand raids in KPK province; we let Mr. Zardari plunder the province of Sindh for 3 decades; the establishment empowered and then dethroned the foreign entity of MQM to rob and molest citizenry of Karachi, the largest producer of income tax in Pakistan, for a quarter of a century; and we orphaned the province of Baluchistan since inception.
A blind man in a cave can see that this union exists because the citizens of Pakistan are unlettered, poor and weak to address this inequality. Not if, but when the avalanche of discontent rolls, it would be a repeat of Bangladesh phenomena.
Dr. Rizvi - thank you for sharing your thoughts. I love to listen to you.

Unless you abolish Jamindari system, nothing will happen !! Politically, one elite will simply replace the another with no threat of competition from commoners. Introduce land ceiling !!
Develop good, non interfering, trading relationship with all your neighbours without exception!!

I heard him last day speaking something about cutting defense budget. The so called intellectual works in America and definitely have no insight to ground reality that why we need to spend so much on our defense. I am not an economist but at least a patriotic Pakistani. My advise to Mr. Intellectual is that instead of working in America he should work in India with a Pakistani background and then he probably would be able to understand the fact about keeping defense budget. He was giving example of Bangladesh that how it emerged successfully, but he forgets to tell our young audience that what price Bangadeshi people are paying for this outcome. Are you a nation like bangalees who have no self-respect. There are the peethos of India.Mr. Zaidi, Is this the only way forward for success, then my dear, you're an absolute goof. You sleep calmly in a bloody air conditioned room with an army of servants working at your home serving you and your family and take money by giving such irresponsible views. Mr. Zaidi, I ask you, have you ever listened or watched videos of our brave soldiers who are sacrificing their lives just to protect bastards like you. Go to youtube and watch a latest seffee video of our Brave Jan Mohammad who laid his life for our safety and surely I will not let you speak a single bloody word against my Army. if you dont agee you live where your are treated like a third citizen. By the way, what kind of an economist are you? Did China role back its army just to get financial stability. Its a bloody superpower. What we need is that we should upgrade our moral character as a nation. Pakistan lost its credibility because in the past, economists like you pleased the corrupt political leadership and did not make any substantial polices that could lead to the path of prosperity with dignity. There was this name which people like you do not even mention him as he was a visionary economist not like you who have their own American agenda to somehow sabotage the brave Pakistan Army. Did Honorable Dr. Mahboob ul Haq suggested a cut in Army budget. At least to my knowledge no. He proposed something which was not acceptable to this corrupt ruling elite including these bureaucrats, technocrats and politicians. In the last my advise to those who call guys like Mr. Zaidi to these forums that please Allah kay wastay, do not call such people. Our youth has already been distracted a lot and we cannot afford any further deterioration in their moral upbringing.
