    Nice Video! I like the Idea of animated book reviews (reminds me a bit on the "5 Ideen" channel by Rob & Dave) and the music you chose supports the content in a nice way. You might try suppressing your accent in the next videos. You could also put a (affiliate) link to the amazon page containing the book into the infobox.

      His accent is fine. It's the content and presentation of it that is important. I noticed his accent but I focused on what he was saying and his drawings. I liked the spider, the monster and the knight. 🙂 P.S. His accent is noticeable but not strong, plus he has a lovely calm soft voice.

    I agree with certain aspects of what is said in the video. When the body fears something you explain to it how you are going to handle it is more appropriate. What is key is the irrational fears, outside fears are true fears and this is something completely different. I played the life of God, and I was the fear of life.

    Can this book help with my situation: whenever I want to say something, I avoid saying it because im worried about the other persons reaction or the worse case scenario, and I can't handle that because im sensitive. So I just stay quiet because its safer that way

    • @kikidiii6300
      @kikidiii6300 3 роки тому +2

      At least you will know how people will react after you said what you want to say. If the reaction is good,then its good. If the reaction is not good or make you look dumb,then you got a valuable experience,a valuable lesson to not making the same mistake. That's how you grow

    Curious to know what the author thinks of certain situations of narcissistic mothers. Victims exist.
    Even if there are elements of truth in this approach, the over generalization of the concept described in the book doesn’t help.
    It stigmatizes, enhances guilt and overall feelings of desperation.
    I’m sorry but when you’ve spent your life trying to protect a mother who simply refuses to respect boundaries and systematically humiliates you, downgrades your achievements regardless of the efforts you make for her, lives with you and can’t afford AND doesn’t want a place alone and your only choice is to basically abandon her at 75 yo while your own life is more than halfway behind you and you’ve given her your all for what seems to be nothing well then I doubt that there are many humans who can live happily by walking away or accepting to live in such abuse.
    It’s just way more complicated than the formulaic approach here.
