Hi, I have a stereo effects loop(2 inputs and 2 outputs) on my Fender Studio 40 bass amp..I plug in headphones for Stereo)I have a pedal going into the effects loop Neunaber Mk 2(Has 2 inputs and 2 outputs,I Use 4 TS cables etc to get stereo..However the pedal accepts TRS cable for stereo according to the manual.I want to buy a Red Panda Raster pedal that has only one input and one output, although TRS..I don't know how to cable up everything if I want to put the panda at the end of the signal chain..
You can use TRS to dual TS (or RCA) cables to split the TRS into separate left and right channels. The link below is from our Knowledge Base, but feel free to email us if you still have questions. support.redpandalab.com/support/solutions/articles/43000570031-trs-cables-for-stereo-input-and-output
Do you have to have a certain set up to get Series, Parallel or Ping Pong mode?...I have a stereo effects loop in my bass amp and can get stereo listening on headphones through the headphones jack?..
I just recently got my Raster pedal.. loving exploring with it..I love the editor too for extra features...The only thing about the editor is you can't tell which presets are empty or stored..All the red preset boxes stay red etc..It would be great if there was a firmware update so you could have more options with the presets like indicators telling which ones are full/empty etc..Also options to name them etc...
Yes - via MIDI or the web editor. Setting is remembered when power is off and stored in presets, so you can use that as your full-time setting or set up a preset for reverse/shift once.
Nice pedal... I particularly like the frequency shifter and the fact that this is the first true stereo Red Panda Pedal. I wonder if Particle 2 will ever get any stereo love, as someone at Red Panda once had said that they were working on it.... Particle is my most favorite and used pedal of all times (I have both 1 and 2), and I'd really love if it gets some stereo functionality, even if it's only programmable via the editor.
@@KorhanErel they very much so do have stereo processing. What I think you’re referring to is panning/ping pong in which case yes, Raster is the 1st to feature that
@@fullpedalalchemist i guess we are saying the same thing using different words. Particle processes each channel in mono. Otherwise, yes I know that Tensor, Particle and Bitmap are stereo pedals, albeit with no stereo benefits. ;)
I have delved to far into the alt menu and now despite the feedback being as low as possible it is still feedbacking twice. Do you know what could be causing this?
Maybe you set the delay structure to ping pong? You can change all of the alt knob settings back to their defaults by holding down the WAVE/ALT button and moving the knobs to noon. While holding the ALT button, also move the center toggle switch to the middle and that will reset the delay structure. If that doesn't solve it, please send us an email via the contact page on our web site and we will help you straighten it out.
@redpandalab can i please ask, is it possible to use Raster2 as a plugin effect inside a DAW and control the extra functions found in the web editor via midi?
Yes, the MIDI implementation is listed in the manual (link in video description). We have instructions in our knowledge base (support.redpandalab.com) for using our pedals as effects with Ableton, Logic, and Studio One - check the "DAW" category and send us an email if you need help with a different DAW. It will be an external audio effect, with send and return via your audio interface.
Finally, we get to see the RASTER 2!
That's the next Low album sorted

@@redpandalab Thank you..
Interesting however these audio examples are highly uninspiring
Go to Mark Johnston's demo..And Stefan's from ThePedalZone...

It is mono in, stereo out by default. So the output will be stereo, but use the web editor to enable stereo input.
@@redpandalab Thanks 👍

Yes. Well said please update.
Really bad choice of sound samples for this demo... About as uninspiring as it could possibly be... ☹️
Is there any way that you can set the reverse setting to only shift once?
Yes - via MIDI or the web editor. Setting is remembered when power is off and stored in presets, so you can use that as your full-time setting or set up a preset for reverse/shift once.
Your tutorials are great and with no fluff, many other creators could learn from this and stop wasting our time, thanks.
This pedal is everything!
I got mine a few weeks ago. So good!

Particle 2 has stereo in and out via TRS stereo. But, yeah, the Raster 2 can take your mono signal and play with it in the stereo field.
??? All of their pedals feature stereo I/O at this point, not sure what you mean...
@@fullpedalalchemist they don't have stereo tricks. The processing is still mono.

Thank you for this, especially the new additions! Huge Red Panda fans over here.

@@redpandalab awesome! Thanks very much for your reply.
Love you guys. Love this pedal.
We need a video for alternate controls. This pedal is still very confusing for me.
We will push that up in our queue. In the meantime, if you have any questions please ask via the contact form on our web site.

Just had this pedal arrive a day or so ago. I'm super stoked to try it out! A very interesting delay :)
Go Red Panda!!! Rawr!!!
