I really like the way that you never gave up on this guitar. No matter what you were going to make it whole and make it work. And you do and it sounded awesome. I don't really like the way you stuck to it
I remember my local guitar store having these in stock in the '80s, they were not cheap but not the best of quality either, I remember trying a few and they were all really high action, my friend worked Saturdays at the store and I asked why they hadn't set them up, he said they had tried but they were so badly built that they had to be set high so they didn't fret out, I noticed a couple of them had a light twist in the neck also.
Those same guitars stayed on the racks for years.

That one sure is pretty... And all the shreddy bits I like.. cutaways at the neck. Pickup configuration. Floyd copy. Cool color too!! Rocks
I have the exact guitar, same color which is a Westone Spectrum II WE2500. I changed pups to Fleor HB set they sound great and added a Floyd Rose 1000 which stays in tune no matter how much I use it. Another quality guitar made in Korea.
This may be a Westone Spectrum of some type. I have one in blue crackle. Looks like almost the exact same guitar, just a different color.
These are one of my favorite 80s/90s guitars.

Great video Zimms I remember those guitars, my cousin had one but it was shaped kinda like the Dean razor back a lot of those old westone guitars were made in Japan and killer players, another sleeper super Strat are the Vestors I had a neck through crackle finish that was killer but it got stolen along with a whole bunch of stuff from our rehearsal studio what a bummer.

i had a westone spectra custom with red blue crackle i loved that guitar bit also had a Dan Lawrence humbucker in it

Nice! I got a great deal on a Westone Concord Bass and its awesome
Last week I picked up a Westone Concord myself. I got a Concord l, did you get a Concord l or Concord ll. I am 58 and been playing since I am 13 and I just learned about these Japanese basses and guitars. I heard they were not sold in the U.S. I have been seeing the Westone Thunders but not the Concord, I think they were considered the beginner model. The Concord ll is better then the l. Very Good Condition with original case, he wanted $450 got him down to $375, I think I did O.K. everything works its a thumper, P style pups. Was just curious if I did O.K. it is a 82, big difference between the l and ll
