The universe resets because of the lumas combining their star power or smth idk but it seems like they dont fully remember it due to mario not recognising his partner luma in smg2
Super Mario Galaxy 1& 2 have the absolute best Mario boss fight. Nothing will change that for me. The scenery, the music, the tension. All of that was what made these games so much better

3d land, nsmb wii n 2 are no where near the level of Galaxy 1,2 and 3D world. 3d world was incredible with great music, awesome creativity, great level design and the difficulty. This list ain't complete without the honorable mention of PAPER MARIO 64 Bowser's Castle. That shit was ultra badass especially with the music it let you know Bowser wasn't fuckin around.
Super Mario 3, World, and the first NSMB are the best experiences in my book. But, regardless of any Mario game, Bowser's Castle is ALWAYS the fun part of the entire game.

@@alexmoore8441 No, He is right. At the top of Peach's castle, there is a portal to Bowser's hidden castle, where the last battle is located. Also, every level in the game isn't in Peach's castle. The paintings are magic portals. The only Peach's castle levels are where the stars don't count under any level, like in 64DS.

Jumping over giant pools of lava as Bowser lunges, spews fire balls, and roars so loudly. The music becomes the most intense it’s ever been in ANY Mario game, and when you reach the final room with your heart racing, Peach’s cry for Mario with this intense music and the monster behind me sent shivers down my spine. Once I pushed that button I literally sat up from my bean bag chair and yelled in victory

I didn’t have the same feeling for Super Mario 3D World because I first tried the final boss (I beat both games the same year)
I am equally in Love with and yet was disappointed? by Odyssey’s Bowser’s Castle. Its incredible and I love all the Japanese influences… I also really wanted an actual more semi open world take on the Bowser’s castle we all love… as long as we get that someday then there is no disappointment to Odyssey’s castle. so hopefully we get that open world mario game that allows us to explore the mushroom kingdom and bowser’s kingdom atleast.
i remember that in new super mario bros ds the slider indicator of the map was glitched in the final castle, probably because of the hight use of the rotation of the rooms
