Fun Easter egg for those trying to farm experience points in Super Paper Mario!! This video will help you about as much as hitting one of those Floro Cragnons will! Find an enemy-dropping pipe instead.
In smb3, in 3-9 you can grab the koopa shell at the beginning, then head to the section next to the brick line section, there must be 2 b. bill cannons, and a wall of g. blocks and a bob-omb. Destroy these obstacles and let go the koopa shell. You can get 90+ lives easily.
Super Paper Mario had a couple of moments that were like what Beat Takeshi's challenge would be like if the team were actually skilled at making games. By that, I meant there were arbitrary things in it that punished you for playing games or just satirized games. It was kind of weird.
You forgot world 3-9 in Super Mario Bros 3 with the koopa shell bouncing back and forth between the Bullet Bill cannons and eliminating the Bullet Bills. Instant 1-UP's there.
I have trouble calling farming a level an "infinite lives trick" , personally. That's not really a trick, that's just you spending an absurd amount of time getting lives normally
I don't think the Odyssey one should count as infinite lives or as a trick,it's simply using a toy to give health to Mario rather than actual lives since they don't exist in the game but I enjoyed the rest of the video
that Super Mario 64 classic one isn't a 1-up trick, but rather, a 1-up grind. It's like with the Mega Mushroom in NSMBDS 1-1. Reason being, you have to repeatedly go through screen-transitions instead of being in a single screen while it happens.
I remember when I was a kid, my dad’s friend showed my dad and I an infinite lives glitch for NSMB Wii, involving Koopas on revolving panels, it blew my mind because I had basically never even heard of glitches before
I feel like they stopped that several years ago. As soon as they introduced Mario maker they stop doing side scrolls, and half the new releases to the switch or just ports from existing games. Or they just keep adding onto old games like Mario Kart 8. Or they add things like Bowser's Fury to old games I already own yet charge full price. They don't crank out the games like they used to, they milk what they already have.
What I believe is happening in the Super Mario Bros one is where when you bounce off of the shell on a staircase, the game thinks Mario is still inside of the Koopa's hitbox, so it will stop the shell from sliding away
12:06 There's a better method in that jungle stage in World 3. Just use a beanstalk and make sure the koopa shell is in the perfect position in between the beanstalk and ? block.
if you didn't know, you can also get 49 coins in delfino plaza and repeatedly collect 1 coin (since you get a 1up every 50 coins) to keep on getting lives. You can get thrown by the chuckster into the secret shine sprite and reset all the coins in the area while still keeping all the coins you have
There’s another on in Mario 3 that wasn’t in the video. Don’t remember which level, but the cloud guy throws down those spikes things and you just stand there while a turtle shell is trapped going back and forth killing the spiky things.
Can't remember which level in Super Mario 3, but you get chased by a Lakitu, and there's a section with 2 blocks on the ground, and a platform with a pipe above. Throw a koopa shell between the blocks, and stand on the platform. The shell will go back and forth, while the Lakitu continuously throws down those spiny guys, and the shell takes them out. You are safe cause of the pipe above you, the spiny guys can't hit you.
In SMB3 there is anther trick. It's in world 3 the last level I think before the pipe that takes you to the air ship castle you can toss the turtle between two bullet bill launchers for inf 1ups. You have to stand in a certain spot for each launcher to launch one BB to make it go faster.
In mario bros wii there's another infinite lives tactic that is a glitch here are the steps 1. Go to 4- castle with a ice flower 2. Go to the large fence with the 4 koopas that u can punch through 3. Use the ice flower and freeze one of the Koopa 4. As soon as u freeza it cling to the fence and punch it as u freeze it before it hits the floor What will happen is an infinite amount of coins will spawn, and yes it will lag until u leave that area
How does inf 1up works in odyssey? This mega heart not only gives u 6 HP, but also gives extra live? Also where do you even get these hearts from thin air?
Theres another glitch for infinite 1ups on smb Wii, on the level 4-castle, u need an ice power up and u have to jump and freeze the Koopa and at the dame moment hit the climbing metal net, and the Koopa Will fall down and a Lot of coins Will spawn, u have to collect them, otherwise the Game Will start to slow down until it freezes and shuts down the Wii, is kinda tricky but it's effective
I know a few good 1 UP tricks in New Super Mario Bros. DS like how you can also do the first stage and pretty much once you get to the mega mushroom block, walk and face to the left and hit it, then follow the mushroom until it almost reaches the hole before grabbing it. Then run straight to the flag. By the time you get there AND run over the flag, you should net 5 1 UPs easily.
In SM64, you can do a triple jump next to Peach's castle near the back, and take advantage of the slope and the game's physics to reach Yoshi without having 120 stars or opening the cannon in the castle courtyard. Yoshi gives you max 1-UPs. That's the real 1-UP trick in SM64.
I remember more lives trick in "Pac Man World 2" in a Night forest level (Like Super Mario 64 way but it's 10 lives instead of 3 and dying again to collect them again) And the time when I got a Checkpoint and at same time a Extra Life and when I die, I have another extra life (Checkpoint & Infinite lives)

4. As soon as u freeza it cling to the fence and punch it as u freeze it before it hits the floor
What will happen is an infinite amount of coins will spawn, and yes it will lag until u leave that area
What a creative compilation!

Wait, odyssey doesn't have lives...
Reply to the 1stcomment:
But it has money
Health and money aren't lives, and thus can't be affected by 1-ups.
Also, there's no 1-ups in odyssey, because they're pointless.
Same for... One other game that I know so is it a new feature?
It's not a true Mario game if you can't break the life system
7:23 bro maybe the best 1-up tricks ever XD
all of the games:the enemies getting tortured to give mario infinate lives oddysey:mario getting burned as peach gives him hearts
This video is just an evolution of Mario kicking shells for green mushrooms
Smm64 nervous laughter yeah using shells
@@gabrielbarron7667 ahh yes super mario maker 64

How does inf 1up works in odyssey? This mega heart not only gives u 6 HP, but also gives extra live? Also where do you even get these hearts from thin air?
5:46 oh god...
"Just what I needed!"
So annoying

The mario 1 lost level will stay the most beautiful mario forever
Theres another glitch for infinite 1ups on smb Wii, on the level 4-castle, u need an ice power up and u have to jump and freeze the Koopa and at the dame moment hit the climbing metal net, and the Koopa Will fall down and a Lot of coins Will spawn, u have to collect them, otherwise the Game Will start to slow down until it freezes and shuts down the Wii, is kinda tricky but it's effective
I always thought the Strollin’ Stus in Super Mario Sunshine were adorable.
Legend has it he still saying thank you just what I needed
14:50 Super Mario Odyssey is officially P2W now XDDD
When someone ask you to show them a satisfying video, send them this :D
In SM64, you can do a triple jump next to Peach's castle near the back, and take advantage of the slope and the game's physics to reach Yoshi without having 120 stars or opening the cannon in the castle courtyard. Yoshi gives you max 1-UPs. That's the real 1-UP trick in SM64.
I’ve tried 3d land part and takes about 1,110 lives max
Why Enemies can be nice - 5:27
I remember more lives trick in "Pac Man World 2" in a Night forest level (Like Super Mario 64 way but it's 10 lives instead of 3 and dying again to collect them again)
And the time when I got a Checkpoint and at same time a Extra Life and when I die, I have another extra life (Checkpoint & Infinite lives)
I first played New Super Mario Bros 2006 on the DS and still play it to this day
