Exploring the Rock River in Wisconsin

I headed east to Wisconsin to meet up with an old friend and explore some new water. This was day one and we were looking around and slinging smallie lures and fishing crawlers to see what we could find. Plus, I put on a demonstration on how not to handle big pike.

Oh, but I do have a first aid kit...it was just (ahem) in the car. One of a few bright moments of mine this trip. Wait till the next one - I wind up in the river! Hope you’re having a nice summer at the cabin :)
