one of the very few people who actually showcase the Aeros loop studio on here. I don’t see it much, and I believe it’s so underrated! Wonderfully used for that B section.
Your videos were one of the most important reason to why I bought my first guitar! This jam is also super inspiring and simply beautiful. Keep going, cheers!
Thanks so much for doing this video. I'm a guitarist with a Roland MC-707 and have been interested in the Aeros looper. Great to see you using it with the different pieces in a similar way that I would. Although I can sample into the 707, the work-flow is a bit more tedious than it looks like the Aeros flow is, so I could get more ideas down quicker. Bonus points on the Zoia too. Really want one of those down the road.
Man you're making me like this chill - downtempo genre though I consider myself as rocker. Great song and yet another neat setup. Greetings from Turkey✌
Thank you so much for your content, your art is amazing! How do you like the Aeros? I'm thinking about getting one but worry it might not be well developed yet? THX :)
Hey, thanks for watching/listening! The Aeros is really-really cool, it's definitely a "young" product and Singular Sound are still regularly putting out updates with new features and bug fixes but in my experience it's already super stable and reliable, I literally had zero issue while using it. :)
I really gotta start practicing live loop performances. I get the logistics but it’s just not something I really ever DO. I get a finished result that I’m okay with, but it’s not an experience to watch me create it. I guess at best I’ve got the pre-pro and I’ve just gotta break it into playable elements and decide how to string it all up. Anyway, thanks for sharing as always. I appreciate all the time and effort and that it’s all done on what looks like my own kitchen table haha
i just giot a digitakt and im struggling a bit with some of the stuff i see in your videos. how do you only add in snare trig on 2 pages and its auto added to 4 pages? why does the page during that section sequence 1, 2, 1, 4 what does your 8 trig do at 1:13? how does the track shift to 32 length at 1:29?
Hey congrats on getting a Digitakt, most of your questions can be answered if you learn about the Length Per Track feature. If you press Function + Page then Function + Yes, you will be able to assign different length and scale for each track. There is no "auto-added" snare, the track is just shorter. As for the 8 trig at 1:13 well I'm in Mute Mode so I probably muted some stuff, aha, I believe it was just a riser. Hope that helps!
@@Aldoistaken Thanks Aldo! took me a sec but im figuring it out. The only thing i forgot for my setup is a synth! i have a keystep into to DT, but oof man a synth to pick up the midi everyone i see is $400+. trying to do this dawless
Hey, the Digitakt is really flexible when it comes to pattern and track lengths. You can set different lengths for each track independently. For this one it looks like the kick/snare pattern at 0:24 is 64 steps long while the second (and I guess main) snare pattern is only 32 steps long. I did that because the pattern was very basic and there was no point wasting time playing the 4 remaining snare hits. I actually could have set the track length to 8 steps and play 1 hit, which would have resulted in the same pattern (without the slight timing variations). Hope that makes sense!
@@Aldoistaken right right right yeah, thanks for spelling it out with me, when i went into the timing part I was getting confused between tracks and patterns haha.. But thanks a million 😅
Ive been eyeballing that looper for a while now!! The Aeros by Singular Sound has sooo many features and looks amazing. How is it? Are you liking it so far?
It's really-really neat yeah, I'm actually surprised at how much I like it, it's really easy to use and you can customize a lot of stuff. I just wish it had built-in FXs but I believe Singular Sound said on their website that they would add some in future updates. :)
Saint-ciboire c’est parfait. Qu’est-ce que tu attends pour te get une vraie bass? Après, c’est juste une question de préférences, but I feel it would just make the whole mix warmer. Keep it up mec!
Hey thanks, the performance is only one take, all audio from the Digitakt is recorded separately through USB and the Digitakt can also be used as an audio interface with its 2 external inputs. :)
Hey, I'm not sure anymore, probably up-down-down-down, but the switches shouldn't affect the MIDI sync anyway, except maybe for the 3? I think the Ditto is just really annoying when it comes to MIDI sync unfortunately.
@@lofilukelukoala8121 I don't use the clock, instead I use CC messages to control the recording of the loops and get perfectly timed loops, it's not super reliable either but it did the job for me. :)

awesome tune man, how's the midi sync with the aeros/digi, finicky like the x4 or nice and solid?

Unrealll.. Do you mind if i ask, how do you get your snare to play over 64 beats while playing it over 32? Or is your digi set up on a 32 beat loop?
